Government: The Aphithiri government is based off of a 5 caste clan based system. There are 3 major clans and 9 minor clans scattered throughout the northern half of the globe. Any extra terrestrial is considered to be lower than a commoner on the social pecking order. The "tremblers" are considered worse than the Nagans, and are often shunned to live the rest of their short live in the Wasteland.

Major Clans
Mav'Nkau / Phoenix (Fire Bird): Most advanced Technology, they often take tech that is given to them by extra solar governments and make it better, much better. This clan, by far, is the most powerful clan, they have the highest population, best tech, and wits. They also control the capital city of the planet, Chliss'sar.
Kra'Nelen / Stone Rhino: Most skilled Warriors, while the other clans warriors are all extremely proficient in their own right, Clan Kra'Nelen puts them all to shame. The top echelon of the Warrior caste of clan Kra'Nelen is different than most: They genetically enhance the fetus and grow it in a test tube. This is called "True-birth", the warriors that were born this way often refer to other people not true-born as "Free-birth". This is often followed by scum.
Arckan'hai / Blood Wolf: They are considered to be the least honorable of the clans, due to their tendency to fight a war from the shadows then in a real conflict. They also garner disdain among the clans due to the infamy of their capital, Nar'Al'Alani. Despite the other clan's distasteful view of them they are fierce warriors, second only to the genetically enhanced warriors of Clan Rhino and the supreme technology of Clan Phoenix.
What some of that stuff means
Naga: The aborigines sentient species, they are sentient, but are slaves to the Aphithiri. The Nagan population is roughly twice the size of their master's population, forcing the Aphithiri to adopt a citizen/soldier culture to avoid civil war. They are constantly in fear of a Nagan revolt.
Cowards: Anyone who shows cowardice in the face of battle. An outcast of society, they stand even lower than the Naga in the pecking order.
Alien: Anyone who is not of the Aphithiri or the slave race. They do keep in minor contact with extra solar alien governments, such as the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, but it is in a very strict and limited fashion.

Nal'Sador:
(Life Zone)
The area north of the equator that can support life, it is a tropical paradise, dotted with lakes, oceans, islands, and forests. If the planet was not inhabbited by war-like sentients then one might consider it the perfect place for a resort or theme park.
Barj-all'krikki:
(The Wasteland)
The area south of the equator, cannot support life, temperatures are incredibly inhospitable. Gigantic containment fields mark the border of the Wasteland, keeping the radiation, the toxic fumes, the extreme temperatures, and not to mention the extremely aggressive and oversized fauna out of the life zone. Sentients do live in the wasteland, but they are few and far between. There are a bands made from exiles, descendants of exiles, and escaped Naga who scrape out a living. There are also many nomadic and aggressive tribes comprised of the same types of people.
Klaatu-marratse
Klaatu is by far the most beautiful continent on Aphithir, its beauty is rivaled only by the city that it supports: Chliss'sar. Klaatu has litterally millions of ponds, rivers, and lakes that pockmark its surface along with thick vegetation and plentiful animal life. This is often the place that Aphithiri hunters go to find their quarry and practice their skills.
Barrata
Barrata is one of the 3 continents in the life zone, it sits right in the center of the only place on Aphithir that can sustain life. Nictu is much like the rest of Aphithir, save the wasteland and Klaatu, it is temperate, full of game for hunters, and heavily forested.
Cities
Aphithir only has three major city/states, where a single city acts as the capital city of its region. The rest is spread across the planet in small villages and towns. The population for the cities below include the region that they represent.
Chliss'sar

The capital city of Aphithir, it sits almost on the boarder between the Life Zone and the Wasteland on the continent of Klaatu. By far the most ancient and beutiful of the three cities, the few travellars who visited the city often declare that its beauty rivals that of Theed, the Capitol of Naboo. Population: 600,00 Aphithiri, 1.2 million Naga
Nar'Al'Alani

Nictu houses the the largest spaceport on the planet, sits on a tropical island in the western hemisphere, travellars call it "Little Zeltros" due to the many pleasures that can be met with in the city. Population: 100,000 Aphithiri, 200,000 Naga
Nar'Al'Adder
(City of War)
Owned by: Clan Kra'Nelen (Stone Rhino)[/i]
Largest city on Aphithir, sits far away from the Wasteland near the north pole of the planet. Na'arder is considered the military capitol of Aphithir, many immense arms and tank factory tower over the landscape. Na'arder lies on the contenant of Barrata. Population: 200,000 Aphithiri, 400,000 Naga.

The Aphithiri, then one of the many near-human subspecies, cut themselves off from the Galactic Republic after they allowed the take over of their home planet by the Sith. While the planet was eventually liberated during the Great Hyperspace War, the Aphithiri were furious. The entire species moved far out of the reach of the Republic to what was then uncharted territories, now it is called the Outer Rim. When they landed on the planet of Aphithir they found a sentient race to already be there, they were easily conquered and enslaved, the Naga were still in the medieval age. Over the course of the next 5 generations memory of the Great Hyperspace War and the Galactic Republic faded into legend. Soon a new threat arose, this time from the inside.
4875 bby - 4400 bby
After 225 years of servitude the Naga finally had enough. They rebelled, nearly killing off the Aphithiri race. The only thing that saved the species was wits and technology, they managed to lure the bulk of the Naga resistance to the southern half of the planet, they nuked the the rebel army to hell and back, while only a small section of the planet was forever changed that decision would prove to be nearly fatal in the future. It was not hard for the Aphithiri race to rise up and reconquer what remained of their planet.
The surviving Aphithiri decided that if they were to survive they would have to set up a new society, one that valued prowess in war and honor above all else. They quickly set up their new caste system, and the Adder'Do (Warriors) were the top class. 12 clans quickly arose from the 14.4 million surviving members, about 1.2 million Aphithiri a clan. These clans quickly became heavily based on prowess in battle, courage, and most importantly: Honor.

The Aphithiri's actions in the war against the Naga finally came back to haunt them. The Radiation from the nukes began to spread at an alarming rate, quickly consuming almost half of the planet. The Clans quickly unified under one banner to build a giant containment field around the growing wasteland. The planet was nearly destroyed when the Naga decided it was the opportune moment to rebel against their masters again. This time the Aphithiri crushed the Naga rebels due to their new views on war, as well as their Caste system that allowed the Aphithiri to send their warriors against the rebels and save their scientists and commoners for the containment field.
After the crisis of the expanding wasteland and the rebel slaves was quelled the Clans found themselves in an uneasy piece. It didn't take long for their war-like nature to take hold, soon a long series of wars broke out among the clans. Three of the Aphithiri clans managed to carve out a nice section of land to themselves: Clan Stone Rhino, Clan Phoenix, and Clan Blood Wolf. Soon, however, the Aphithiri would be forced to unite again to repel a new threat: The Mandalorians.

The prospect of fighting some of the galaxy's most adept warriors really tripped the Mando's trigger, Aphithir was one of the first planets to be invaded during the opening days of the Mandalorian War. At first the Aphithiri Warriors were winning, they nearly drove back the relatively small force of Mandalorian invaders. The tables quickly turned after the Besalisk war droids fell from the Mandalorian capital ships, within a matter of minutes those blasted droids turned a decisive victory into a crushing defeat. The coming years proved incredibly tough for the Aphithiri race, their numbers dwindled to a fraction of what they originally had.
The Aphithiri have only just begun to recover, their population is growing very quickly now that they are relying more on "Freebirth" than "Truebirth."
