Youngling- Youngling is the introductory stage of becoming a Jedi. Younglings are trained by many masters till they become 12 and are chosen by Knights and Masters to be their Padawans.
Padawan- Padawan is the apprentice stage of becoming a Jedi. Padwans are chosen to be apprentices to Masters and Knights.
Kinght- Knights are the real agents of the Jedi. They are the true Jedi, the protecters.
-Guardian- These Jedi focus on lightsaber combat.
-Counculer- These Jedi focus on the Force.
-Sentinal- These Jedi find a great balance between lightsaber combat and the Force.
Master- Masters are the oldest, and wisest of the Jedi.
Battlemaster- The Battlemaster is the greatest duelest in the Order. The Battlemaster usually know more than one lightsaber combat form. There is only one at a time.
Grandmaster- The Grandmaster is the leader of the Jedi. There is only one.

Neophyte- Neophyte is the Sith equvilent of a Youngling.
Acolyte- Acolyte is the Sith equvilent of a Padawan.
Warrior-
-Marauder- Marauder is the Sith equvilent of a Guardian.
-Prophet- Prophet is the Sith equvilent of a Counsuler
-Assassin- Assassin is the Sith equvilent of a Sentinal
Sith Lord- A Sith Lord is the Sith equvilent of a Master but a few things are different. One Sith Lords take new names whent they are made into Lords. it is known as their mantle or 'Darth Title'

hmm.. just to be clear.. there are such things as dark jedi masters.. and those are also the equivalent of a master.. seeing that as the case i would presume the sithlord to be a bit stronger?

not really..a sith lord is just the name for a master.. Sith lords would have more influence because they can control the sith empire. Jedi master - Dark jedi master - Sith lord = same rank.

Distinction should be made between a Dark Jedi who is on equal terms with a Jedi Master, and a Sith Lord... someone who has claimed/proved his right as a Sith, following the Sith code, teachings, etc.
