Occ-this is just a thread for any one to post in. If want to see how one may use the training room see-In Search of Power-
-Description-
A three over lapping tiered training room is designed to look like a cross between an tomb and a arena. The first floor was 120 feet from the center to the furthest circular wall. The second tier's center ring was 100 feet from the center of the first floor with it's outer wall being 140 feet. The third tier's center ring was 120 feet from the center of the first floor with it's outer wall being 160 feet. Three rings with a common center. Each tier was 12 feet in height. The ceiling is 100 feet in the curved center
The force construction was unique in that it had all three areas of the force, light, dark, and the void. The center of the massive room was the void extending three feet below the floor to three feet above the ceiling. Each floor has alternating areas of dark and light force areas. Each floor's force pockets is off set to the lower tier.
The force areas are lit differently the light side are lit from outside light. As for the dark side is completely void of light. The center of the room is lit by the refracted light from the light side sun portals.

Two days had gone by since he brought V'rael to the training room. During those two days Cho had search out other life forms, from bugs to the greater predators the Tuk'ata. He started his training early that day. Working on his physical side, he placed him self with in the void area of the room. he had noticed that some bugs and lower creatures would draw on force even when in the absence of it.
Sweat dotted the area around him as he walked on this hands and then on his thumbs. Slowly he could see the smallest vein of force Ora flowing in the void. Drawing upon it he saw right away that it was not a living force but one of death.
Gaining strength from the dead. A microbial life source this must be. A weak source but with great potential. I see how some have seemed to grow stronger when they kill.
As Cho was viewing this force Ora he noticed that the balance of one of many light side fields was loosing its strength. Going over to the field he searched for the problem. He checked the surrounding dark fields, none were greater then the rest. No out side dark Ora from the temple was effecting it. He did notice that the outside light was lesser than was before. Sending his senses upward through the light portal, he then noticed an odd mushroom that had found a foot hold 2/3 the way up the shaft. The shroom was giving off a dark Ora via the sun light.
How interesting. Plant life of the Sith, the Overlord would find that funny, even prophetic. The plant life is even giving their approval of the new Sith Overlord.
Reaching out with the force Cho ripped the shroom from it's moorings and brought it down to him. Putting it in another dark field, Cho went back to the fields to correct the imbalance. Touching the light side of the force always made Cho's skin tingle as if carrion ants were crawling under it. It always had to be drawn slowly with gentleness, a trait that Cho did not like. The force started to form in his left hand, and the dark field leached through his body to the dark field. Cho's body writhed and shuddered with the transfer. His body was nearly to the collapse. He did not even feel this way when he was working in the void. Stretching out in the force he once again found that faint thread of force energy this time coming closer to him, it was the shroom. With out light and it's water source, it was dying. Cho drew from it the energy was all that he needed. Refreshed Cho continued and clarified the light force field. Collapsing when he finished Cho had to remember that maneuver.
Draw from Death to give life. How..........Novail of and idea.

The next day Cho Wroth had decided to rid himself of the feeling that accorded when he dealt with the light side force fields. He started by sitting and meditating with in the field. Nothing happened, but why? Again starting his meditating he stretched out his feelings searching what it was all about.
Nothing again. Why ....why is this so. What is more why am I getting angrier.
Cho's emotional state was becoming more unstable to the point that he had to leave the field. Sitting in a dark field he began to feel better as if he was being comforted by a loved one. Thats when it hit him, Emotion. Emotions was what was missing from the light side field. Once again he stretched out his power to touch the field and found only logic, cold and to the point.
Zeroing his emotions, he once more entered the field. The noghri hunter's meditation was the key that worked the best for him. While he was in his trance he thought back to an event while building the temple. Remembering Looma, the twi'lek and another one who hid what he was and their first encounter. He could almost feel the wind and sun on his face. He pushed a little harder and then a surge of force energy was leached from him. Immediately he opened his eyes and saw that day as clear as the first time, but this time he was away from his body. The time was before death came to the three. Trying to speak was useless. Then he tried to touch his own mind with the Rakata battle meld and found the conversation to be a one way street. So he decided to give him self what he had learned up to this point. The battle meld, using death to heal, and many more new ideas discovered in that year.
With a snap, Cho reverted back to his time. The memory of him speaking to him self was their and more. New ideas and questions about other force concepts. He then wondered if the Overlord was able to use this time loop to strengthen him self, maybe that would explain how he was so strong.
On getting up he found that his legs were very weak.
How long was I in that state? If it was to long I may need not use it while others are around. That won't give them the chance for an easy kill.
Arriving back to his room he found that two whole days had gone bye. This was defiantly not going to happen, Cho decided. A remote place that none would find or enter was necessary.

The snap hiss.... it is the unmistakable sound of the lightsaber activating. For Cho using one side was still some what of a hindrance. His body kept acting as if the other blade was active of his Dual saber. Working the kinks out from the night before Cho spun and leapt with ease and grace of the perfect killing machine. Shadow boxing was Cho's only way to practice. Earlier on in his now altered past, Cho was using his newly found skills to be to aggressive for the newer ones and the older ones did not spar well.
Killing, when they activated their sabers they went for the kill. Cho's skill of disarming through the force was the only thing that kept the other Sith from slicing into him. On one spar Cho found that his Ora was switching from dark to light as he tested with another. Ever since he pushed him self to under stand the light side of the force he often found him self flowing with the light side. Now the other Sith were even more afraid that he would go to the light.
Saber battles are now the norm of the day. An aggressive young-ling challenged him. Not letting him respond the young-ling drew his saber and charged. The attack was sloppy and unfocused. Cho just side stepped and grabbed the young-ling by the back of the neck. The rage to kill with the hunger for blood arose, but Cho's new instincts decided a worse fate for the young-ling.
Cho emptied him self of the force. Then he taped into the young-lings force Ora and started to drain the Ora. The young-ling shrieked at an inhuman volume. When it was over the young-ling laid at his feet stripped of his power.
The masters heard of this and had Cho to undo the damage. Cho did as he was told. On completion he told the masters that the next to challenge him he would abyss to the Dark Will of the force.
So now Cho trains, in the odd hours of the days gaining in strength and power. No longer on relying on the force alone but what he is in a whole, a machine, a Rakata force user. Like the machines that the Rakata used to travel and conquer the universe, Cho is making his body and his mind into that machine. To kill, heal, transform, and to conquer all that stood in his way.

He had felt it on the withered planet for a long time now. The darkness was always a part of this planet's history. There had been, however, a new sense in the force Jarzec Taelstrom felt. It was the feeling of a living darkness. It was different from the residual and dead evil that permeated the planet of Korriban. It was fresh. It was eminating from the tombs. As Jarzec meditated upon this, he could feel power. Power akin to that of Dark Lords. It was a Temple, but his senses weren't in tune enough to find much more than that.
Perhaps here he could go. Here may hold the key to his quest for more power. Here, in where the Old met the New. Jarzec bought a speeder with what remained of his money and sped towards this beacon of dark energy. It grew stronger and stronger as he traveled. The Dark side wove around it with tendrils of evil grasping and groping all around it. That was until, he actually saw it. It was the key that the lock was missing. Something about this structure resonated within Jarzec. This was it. It sat, nestled between the walls of ancient tombs to great Sith Lords of Old. The ground beneath it had seen better days, but had pillars still erect. Jarzec realized he was in the Valley of the Dark Lords. The Temple was right in front of him, the sun reflecting off its apex. It was deep in the force as well, almost visibly. Two figures stood bowing, like the Atlas's to the Dark side itself, holding it up, and presenting it to... someone. Jarzec had to get off his speeder, and just walk towards the Temple. He had to savor this moment, to bask in the dark side. To take in the both archaic and advanced power that was held here. He lusted for the secrets it held. He allowed his emotions to run rampant within him. Adrenaline pumping as the scope of the scene assailed him.
He was home.
He finally arrived at the door to the Temple. There he stood, awaiting for whatever was to come next. Who was here? He thought. Will someone present themself to me? Should I enter? He decided to stand there, surely there were guards or some sort he could not see. It was so thick with the dark side, he could barely pick out any single being, especially those who were masking their presence. Then, he felt someone drawing near, he placed his hand on his lightsaber hilt in its holster, and waited.

As Cho continued to practiced his saber skills, he noticed in the force a new arrival in the force. The force was like all the rest, restless and hungry for power.
Another. 'hmmm' Lets see it this one will be able to see the force as I do.
Cho left the hall and started toward the main steps. The fresh breeze from the outside was refreshing. He did not know how much sweet he had worked up until the wind played across this scaly skin.
Reaching the entrance Cho slowed and raised a small force effect one that suited his persona, Predator Sith. The effect he found gave many a pause and their experience was like they were in slow motion. Fear building with each step, Cho slowly activated his dual saber. Coming to a stop with in 12 paces, Cho inhaled and slowly released the breath.
Your name and your reason for being here.
Stretching out in the force Cho looked the new comer over. Force eddies and maw like holes were in this ones being, but no true force scaring. 'This one has potential', his Twi'lek master's voice echoed in his head. He never doubted his master, so he wouldn't start now.

He felt it coming no sooner than he had ended his last thought. It was predatorial, almost primal, but at the same time it was powerful. He felt the signature easily. He could also begin to feel fear from those around it. Jarzec, however, refused to fear anything. This being, he knew, could very well kill him. Though Jar's instincts told him otherwise. That was until he saw it. This being was a noghri. A Sith Noghiri. Jarzec could feel so much from this one. Death, darkness, power, it was a cornucopia of the dark side's attributes. Not to mention the previously stated predatory aura he exuded. He stood a little over a foot shorter than Jar himself, and had a slight layer of sweat on him. As he approached, he ignighted a dual lightsaber, to which Jar responded by tightening his grip on his (or should he say, his previous master's) saber.
Then, the noghri spoke:
Your name and your reason for being here
Jarzec then felt a slight prodding of his person through the force, but ever so slight, he was, after all, not as keen as most in the senses of the force. Jarzec thought about his answer and chose his words carefully, though without any sign of hesitation.
I am Jarzec Taelstrom. I have been living here on Korriban for the past two years, in which time I have felt the presence of this Temple growing and growing immensely. I decided to pay it a visit. I must say, I have respect for this place and those who are a part of this. It seems that from the look of you, I would say you have either been training intensley or relaxing in a sauna. Common sense would tell me that the former must be true.
Thus, I make my petition, and I shall make it blunt. You see, my master was a great teacher, but he was weak and could only teach me but so much. Therefore, I would like to train here. I wish to see things in the Force that grant one power, both old and new. I wish to learn the destructive powers of the Force, to also learn the way of the lightsaber. In essence, I wish to become a student and servant that I may become like that of the ancient Sith Lords, capable of great things and wise in many ways. I wish, to serve whomever it is you serve, if you serve any at all. I wish, all pleasantries aside, for power.
Jarzec spoke with conviction and enthusiasm, pushing the force into many of his words, to show that he was not weak, that he had the ability to do what must be done to learn and obtain what he desired. There may have been inklings of his corruption in the words he spoke, but he no longer cared. He had his eyes on the prize, and he could tell this Sith could aid in his quest for it.

Training? Becoming better? Is that all? One could go train under a rock and have great skills. But if you would truly want to learn .....that is a different matter.
Cho turned and waved the new one to follow. As they entered the hall of trials another master and his student was there sparing.
Cho knew if he paid them no heed they would ignore him. Taking Jarzec over to the far wall away from the entrance Cho would try to make this one understand his view of the force.
Power with out restraint. Rage with out hate. Revenge with out regrets. Life with out dying. And death to renew the living. This matra is my race's prayer to our lords and masters, the Rakata. They showed us how to be better, stronger, deadlier. With no fear we the noghri kill whoever or whatever we decide is not worthy to live. An honorable death to give life is what I sought. But many called me kook, weirdo, and heretic freak. But here I sought some thing better. I was wrong.
All I have found is the same short mindedness. Many here fight not for honor or even to improve the Sith as a whole. They fight for their imperfections.
Cho left the force start to flow through him while he stood in a dark field area. Growing stronger Cho ignited his saber. Letting the force flow and guide is blade Cho went through a short blade route of his. The dance of death that Cho preformed was aw-inspiring. The blade slicing the air activating and de-activating as it came with in millimeters of his scaly hide. In a finale move Cho leaped into the center of the void field and drew on the hidden force with in the void and blasted the ceiling with red force lighting.
One must remove the problems ...the ...imperfections. Train the body to it's limits.
Cho returned to the dark force area and Jarzec. Then he took a meditative position.
When your body is ready, then you must purge the mind. No limitations to you self. For if you do no matter how much training you do you will get no stronger.
Cho sniffed the air and looked over to the other master and student.
The force as you know is both light and dark. It also life and death. Logic and emotion. ..... Consider it as a scent with it's many facets. When you limit you senses you will only see in one or two ways. If you stretch out further no doubts you will see more.
Cho knew his ways were hard to under stand for none had lived his life or had skills like him. He hoped that this one would at least take some knowledge of this to use.

((OOC- You still haven't told me his name xD))
Jarzec listened to all this, taking in what the Noghri had to say. This was much different than what he had come to learn over the years. That both light and dark are to be accepted? His concepts on killing seemed to flow in the direction of custom rather than true teaching, but at the same time, held some truth. This being was after all, a predator, a hunter. The taint of death clung to him, and though the abiity to cause death indeed denotes power, it was not what Jarzec sought.
In truth, Jarzec was torn between learning, wisdom and knowledge and just power itself and the training required to get it. This mantra the Noghri presented him with seems extremely appealing though... This "Power with out restraint. Rage with out hate. Revenge with out regrets. Life with out dying. And death to renew the living." This seemed like something he could enjoy adapting as his own mantra, but not to the same degree as the predator that stood before him. The concept of honor was only a slight ethic to Jarzec. Jarzec would try to listen to as much as he could, but he could only agree with half of what this predator spoke. There was evidence of this power in this character. There was no doubt of that. The mindset one would have to adopt, however, Jar found to be too much of a risk and liability. He decided to accept whatever it was the Noghri had to teach him, but nothing more.
Your philosophy intrigues me, though I must say, some it is difficult to swallow. And honestly, I can only agree with you so far. I would like to learn what you have to teach me, but I hope you don't find offense in me seeking out other masters from which I can learn. I wish to be as well-rounded as possible. It seems you have much to teach me in the dark side, and the destruction it can cause. As well as some lessons I can take to heart, but there are some teachings that, as I said before, I simply cannot accept in my current understanding of the Force and life. I shall train with you for some time, and I would also like to spar with you, as you are apparently quite adept. Your teachings are something that I will attempt to learn, but I can make no guarantees. Shall we get started?

Cho wroth sighed again. Another not of predatory quality, but still not all would have the same skills or interests.
Fine. As long as you don't get your self killed. My name is Cho Wroth and killing is what I do best. Lets see what you are capable of doing with your saber.
Cho raised his saber with one side one. Gently flowing the force with in him he began to pace around him waiting for the new one to make the first move. Cho slowly made his circling into a long loop moving into the void field.
If you are sure of your skill dealing with out the force should be no problem.
Cho hated waiting his natural instincts told him to strike first and cleave the human into. Cho had to resist. The air buzzed with the sound of sabers. That is when Cho heard that familiar voice again.
Why Cho he only a boy. Are going to feed him to the tuk'atas as you did the others? Or are you trying for another pet to play with?
The ghostly voice of a female twi'lek came from behind Cho in a dark force area. Obviously she was trying to aggravate Cho in to the first move. Turning her attention to the human she said.
What now boy? Are you going to play, or are you going to run and hide like all the rest?

Get killed? No, no, no. That's not what I'm here for, thought Jarzec. Hmm, Cho Wroth, interesting name. The fact that killing was his strong suit however, somewhat startled Jarzec. The context of this statement seemed to imply that Jarzec was going to witness just how capable a killer this Cho really was. And that it would be proven through lightsaber combat. Cho then questioned his ability to fight without the Force. Well, Jarzec did rely on the Force more than his lightsaber, but it wasn't without its balances. He could hold his own for a decent time, he did afterall, study under the defensive form of Shien heavily, but never learned much on the Djem So side of the coin. But this was what sparring was for.
It was then that Jarzec heard a voice who's owner was undetectable. It floated in his ears with an eeire phantasmic tone, beckoning the question:
What now boy? Are you going to play, or are you going to run and hide like all the rest?
Jarzec didn't hesitate to respond:
I may fear, but I fight it. I fight it that I may control it. I control that I may have power. Power gives balance, you see, balance to those who are strong enough to possess it. Balance is strength in the hands of those who are strong, as well as weakness in the hands of those who are feeble. If I were to run, which would that make me?
Jarzec ignited the saber that did not belong to him. At some point he was going to have to find someone with the resources to allow him to construct his own. For now, however, his previous master's dark blue blade would have to suffice.
I must confess to you however, Cho, that I have not been trained adequately in the way of the blade. I require additional training to be satisfied. I would be much obligied if you could lend to me some of that training. I have currently studied under Shien as you can tell, I'm sure, by my stance. I believe it would be benificial for me if I could be taught a more offensive stance, such as Makashi, if you have any experience in such a feild? Or if you would rather not instruct me, that is just as well, though I would still enjoy your teachings in other areas.
But I digress. You seem ready for a fight, so a fight you shall recieve, mind you, I do not wish to see a fight to the death, as I can assure you it will end in mine. On that note, I'm glad you chose to allow me the first strike, as it will probably be my only one!
With that Jarzec lunged toward Cho, who immediatly blocked his strike and began a series of his own upon Jar's already defending form.

Cho slowed his strikes but barely only to give the training a better look and feel.
Defense is not my area Ataru and Juyo are.
With that Cho ignited both sides of his saber and spun both his body and blade. His body stooped low and spun right while his blade twirled against his back. As Cho stepped up the attack, he would deactivate the saber as a faint then power house the next strike. The blow would have been a crushing blow but Cho just smirked and deactivated the blade before any harm could be done. Cho continued on snapping his saber on and off with each consecutive strike getting faster.
You know not all defense can be dealt with by saber alone.
In a blur of force speed Cho power swiped Jarzec's saber from it's defensive posture and grabbed Jarzec by the throat. Cho then flooded him self with the dark side and held Jarzec's saber away. Cho smirked. Releasing Jarzec Cho said...
At some point in your defense you have to attack. Kill or be killed, that's a predatory way.

Ataru he says? Thought Jarzec as he attempted to block and parry the flurry of attacks upon his person. Juyo he says? I could stand to learn Juyo, but Ataru would be much too strenuous. And Juyo is much too complicated for me to try just yet. Then Cho remarked that "You know not all defense can be dealt with by saber alone." Well, of course, thought Jar, There are definatly other ways to break through an opponent's ---
Jarzec was suddenly without lightsaber and held in the air by the clawed hand of the Noghri. For some reason, Jarzec was angered by this. His mind was brought back to his previous master. The floodgates of his memories returned and he saw the cruel things his master had done to him. Jarzec began to grow angerier and angrier, as the shadows of his past and the skeletons in his closet began to wrap themselves around him. The dark side flowed through the attack on his throat, making the memories sting that much more, they put perspective on his mind. As a Jedi's vision would be clouded by the dark side, Jarzec saw things clear as crystal through it. Jarzec saw that he had to make changes in who he was. Though the corruption still held sway on his mind, and Jarzec saw that once again power and the ability to control situations was what he needed for that change. He had to overcome the trait of being kicked around. He had to be the one kicking people around. And he would do it without them knowing it or not. To exploit their weaknesses and parry their strengths. To make his enemies suffer before he could. And then Cho said it:
"At some point in your defense you have to attack. Kill or be killed, that's a predatory way."
Kill.
Or be Killed.
Maybe Jarzec could learn the destructive aspect of the Force from this Cho Wroth. But Jarzec would not stand to abide in his teachings. He would have to find another to reveal any perspective to him. Jarzec, was after all, an open-minded fellow. All of his upbringing and teaching had been from a fallen Jedi Master, and even Jarzec was not foolish enough to accept the biased views of such a man. Perhaps a teacher of thought and philosophy would be present here. A place of sick, twisted and dark souls would be the perfect place to build a perspective on life. Maybe he should just stick with finding a battlemaster. A person who could teach him the blade. Another force-master would also do him good. Here in this Temple, this school, perhaps a wayward soul like Jarzec's could find what it is he was looking for. Along the way, he could probably acheive much power as well.
Well, Wroth, it has been an eye-opener, and it was a pleasure to meet you. Perhaps you can instruct me on the destruction of the force at some other time, and you can also reveal to me more of your philosophy. For now, however, I wish to seek out other Masters. I wish to become a fairly well-rounded warrior. Your services have been much appreciated, and I do not use such a term lightly, but I find that they are not exactly what I seek.
May we meet again, as this has been quite the experience.
Jarzec began to leave the Hall of Trials, to move onward and discover as much as he could. He still hadn't gotten a good feel for what this Temple was, and he hadn't introduced himself to whoever stood for authority here. He wasn't even sure of his authorization here. He had to find these things out. He still desired to be a part of this, to be a part of this amazing Sith monument and whoever drove it on. He still knew nothing about this place, and it was high time he learned.

If suttle power is what you desire then seek out Shard, trickery is his slave.
