Youngling without a Teacher

[Gren Geraven]

Gren usually spent his time in his room when not training, but he realized that he was getting really close to the age of 13 and still had no master. He felt like it would never happen, but what could he do? He felt like continuing more of his lightsaber training, so he went out to an empty training room within and turned on his training saber. He cleared his mind, and began striking at nothing, with nothing else in mind except a Jedi he might not become.

[Fellheart]

Fellheart left the library without an anwser to hes question. He thought maybe he would go and train some with hes lightsaber. He went trough a door and in to a training room and found another youngling, he was training alone, striking hes lightsaber trough the air.

"Hello" Fellheart said
Maybe I could train with this boy, He looks older than me but...Fellheart walked to the boy

"Do you want train with me? I not really good but I think I could give you a challenge"

[Gren Geraven]

Gren felt another enter the room through the Force, and as the Youngling stopped, he shut off his lightsaber. He turns to face him and smiles a bit. After nodding his head, Gren answers him.

Absolutely. I'd enjoy a bit of a training session.

[Fellheart]

"When you are ready"

Fellheart smiled and got out hes lightsaber and turned it on

[Gren Geraven]

Gren smiled back and brought his lightsaber up into the basic guard position that the younglings learn, which is directly in front with the lightsaber blade going diagonal towards the left shoulder, and turns it on. He lets himself go into the Force as much as possible, and rushes forward, moving off to his opponents right side and sending a slash across his midsection, then backing up to prepare for a counterattack.

Fellheart rolled backwards dodging the attack "My name is Fellheart by the way"

He then jumped forward slashing plumb down towards the youngling

The attack by Fellheart was seen easily by the youngling, and all he needed to do was jump back a little to be just out of the range, in which afterwards Gren did a small roll to the side and came up with a horizontal slice the younglings side, then quickly brought his blade back up into a defensive position whilst answering the youngling.

The name's Gren. Gren Geraven.

Alex brooded over the events of his last mission as he came to one of the currently less occupied training rooms. He had drawn inwards through the Force and cut himself off from others. He would practically have to be standing behind someone for them to notice him through the Force. He had shut down tight this time.

The only inhabitants seemed to be two younglings diligently sparring to improve their combat prowess. He smiled at the memory of his time as a youngling and leaned against the far wall watching the two mock battle.

The difference in enjoying these two fight was the fact that he stood with a cool calculated look about his presence. He watched acutely as he noticed each and every mistake they made and he ran through the variations of stances and adjustments to improve them. He didn't catch himself doing this either.

He found himself more introverted as of late do to the events that had shaped themselves as of late. He stood with his arms crossed and his body tense. He thrived to jump in and teach them the proper way of sparring, but held back. His kinder side allowed him to do this so that they would learn from their own mistakes as they went.

Fellheart noticed a person entering the room as he dodged Grens attack. Gren was pretty good, although he was older, Fellheart he could still dodge hes attack without to much problem.
He jumped back, then ran towards Gren, right before he was about to crash into him he rolled around him an slashed towards Grens back

Gren had kept his mind into the battle, and didn't allow himself to wander off in the Force, and thus he didn't notice the Knight as he entered the room. What he did notice, however, was the simplicity in the Younglings tactics, and as Fellheart went around behind him, Gren did a small roll forward to get just out of blade distance. As the slash whizzed by, Gren does a small backflip and gives himself completely to the Force, which for once, actually helps him. The Force moves him just enough to get him right behind the Youngling, in which Gren immediately moves his blade to Fellhearts side, stopping just before he would touch him.

Not bad. I enjoyed that. We should do it again sometime.

Gren steps back a bit and turns off the small training lightsaber and clips it as his belt and comes out of the Force. It was then, as he allows the Force to leave him, that he notices the Jedi standing off to the side. He quickly realizes that it is a Jedi Knight, and not a Padawan, and thus his heart jumped a bit. He didn't allow his facial expressions to show anything, but it would be easily seen how excited he would be if one were to use the Force. He walks over to the Jedi and bows his head in respect.

Vex watched the duel with mild amusement and pride. It ended abruptly as one saw an opening in the other's defense. The Jedi smiled at the two as they bowed to each other and the victor came to pay his respects. He looked down on the boy and saw the same exultation from using the Force, that Vex had reveled in when he was that young.

That was a swell match young one. I congratulate you on your victory, but do not have the doubts about your abilities that I sense you have. There is still much to learn about our gifts that we inherited. All in all both of you have great potential. Your Masters would be proud of you if they watched this fight.

Vex placed a hand on the boys shoulder and had a sparkle in his eye. He let the feeling of pride wash over the boy.

Fellheart bowed and said "Yes, maybe we should do that again sometime"

He slowly followed Gren over to the Jedi Knight and bowed before him, then he took a few steppes backwards, and watched the two in front of him

Vex bowed his head in return to the other youngling as he approached and showed the proper respects. He let his hands fall naturally to his sides and pushed off from the wall.

You did well to young one, do not doubt yourself or others. Don't think either, let the Force guide you and flow through you. Do not fight its current, fore you will be swept away.

[Gren Geraven]

Gren nodded to the Jedi as he takes in the wisdom of the older Knight, but looks down as he remembers that he still has no Master. He looked up again and into the eyes of the Jedi Knight, seeing a little of himself in the older man, and he smiles. He feels like if this one could make it, then surely he could.

Thank you, Master....I will remember your teachings and work on getting better. Thank you.

He bows again, and leaves the training room and heads off to his room, for meditation before more training.

Fellheart bows to the Jedi and leaves the room
