In The Beginning
Zane was born on coruscant to two jedi named Vangor Ral'Shay and Twoin Sing'Core. neither of the jedi were together in any way and zane was conceived on night while both jedi were a bit messed up and angry that the failed a mission together on tatooine, and upon hearing of such a ridiculous act of stupidity both jedi were punished, however zane was still born and upon his birth he was taken from Twoin by a jedi master because she did not want him, Zane was taken in by a jedi master, A Kel Dorian known as Mosh Da'Ka, this jedi master took Starr in as his own child since no one else wanted him, of course not many people were given the chance to take him but all who had the chance for the child refused to take him, and Mosh took him in so quickly because something told him it would be more than a good choice in the end, so mosh changed his living arrangements to quit having a child and he came to see how fun it would be to raise a child, and even though the council advised against it they allowed Mosh to raise the child and said that he could start his training at the proper age if he turned out well.
Now Zane wasn't exactly a good child, by the time he could crawl he was destroying things in the house, knocking over things such as valuables and things of that sort. Once he learned to stand and walk things got much worse as he could now knock things off of other things, and even though mosh didn't like it, he was never mean to Zane, he simply turned it into a game even though that was probably not the best idea. When zane would break something Mosh would just chase him around there home and pretend that Zane was to fast for him, this was all around when Zane was about a year old.
For his first birthday he was given a few gifts by what he called his father, one of them was a toy gun, a fake blaster. Zane loved the toy so much but he had seen another weapon he really liked, he had seen his father use his lightsaber before and had also seen how his father managed to end what seemed to be a very dangerous situation just by moving his clothing and showing his lightsaber, and Zane thought that was really cool. Zane grew up with a great understanding for things and he was much smarter than children his age. by the age of two years old he knew things that a child would be learning by the years such as nine and ten, and his father saw this quickly.
While he was growing from ages such as two to the years of six his father was around a lot but there were times where his father left for a few days and always came back seeming like he was a bit different, there was one time where his father came back home missing part of his right arm from the elbow down and since his father was right handed it made it quite hard to use his lightsaber. When mosh went before the council he insisted that this wound was from a blaster shot but the council knew it was a lie, however to look further into what was going on they went along with it and had his arm reattached, from there on they had him watched very closely, as the jedi that went with him on the mission where he lost his arm, did not return with him, Mosh gave a story that went somewhere along the lines of the jedi wouldn't listen to him and he went into a cave alone but the council highly doubted such a thing considering how high they all held the jedi, but they just let him go about his business and not a lot actually happened during Zane's years from two to six other than that one thing with his father
Youngling Years
Even though the council did not approve of how Mosh was doing things on his missions, of course he didn't know of this. They allowed him to enter Zane into the temple for his training as a youngling, they knew it would be a great way to see how Mosh did things, and Zane entered the temple and from the moment he entered it he actually never left the temple, he saw his father a alot, mostly everyday but even at such a young age he for some reason knew that it would be best if his training was more important than anything else and he kept it that way all through his training, and his father did not like that his own son, a child that he took in and raised had found something more important than his own father. the councils eyes were on Mosh every second that they could spare them, as they knew something was going on with him.
At the age of nine Mosh tried his best to have Zane removed from the temple but the council refused to do so, Mosh said that he didn't want this life for his own child, the council reminded him of his place, even though he was a master things like this needed reasoning along with others things such as voting, However he did not get what he wanted as the council told him that they really had not seen someone so dedicated to his training and to the force in such a long time, they wanted to keep Zane where he was and when Zane was asked what he wanted to do, he easily responded and said that he would never leave the temple and abandon his training and the people that were so good to him, he was never told that his father wanted him to leave.
He excelled past everyone in his training as a youngling and was about to reach the age of thirteen when something strange happen, his father vanished and never came back to report things, Zane over heard talking of this and began to grow worried about his father, as did the council, the knew where he went but when they followed along his trail they found nothing at all and one day he just showed back up at the temple, telling the council he followed a lead that required him to lay low, but he had found out some information they had been needing, enough though Mosh was a jedi master he took on missions just like the jedi knights and padawans, he gave the council the information that he had gained and it turned out to be just what they needed, so they acted on it.
Padawan Years
At the age of thirteen he became a padawan, since he had done so well and he had explanations for his actions, the council dropped all suspicion of Mosh and they allowed him to take Zane, his own son, on as his Apprentice even though he had already had an apprentice and quickly he began his training as a padawan, but there were times where he left the temple, which seemed strange to him because he never left it from the time he was six until he became a padawan, he went places with his father but never left coruscant. one day while leaving with his father he was asked by his father to keep there little visit to a place a secret, they visited a little hidden place in the lower sewers of coruscant, Zane wasn't quite sure of what was going on but when he returned to the temple he told the council of what went on as he felt he should, the council quickly brought Zane's father in and he was demanded to explain himself and he did, managing just to slip by, saying that he had infiltrated a crime lords ranks and was learning things about his gang, so that he could get more information about them before the council acted on the crime lord.
The council hesitated but they let him slip by but now all suspicions were now returning as Mosh for years now had been acting without the approval of the council and it was beginning to worry them quite a bit, the council realized that Zane knew what was best so they went to him and asked him to tell everything he father did and he quickly said that he would, the council then found reasons to allow Zane to leave with his father more often while still keeping him more than up with his training, as Zane was extremely dedicated to his training, but while he was gone with his father he began seeing things and he reported them to the council, everything was little and little but it all began to come together, the council knew by his actions that they could trust Zane to do whatever they asked of him. One day Mosh came to the temple and said that he needed to do something and he didn't want his son to be around him for a little while, and that quickly arose suspicion in the council so when Mosh left the temple that day the council had a jedi knight along with Zane to follow Mosh.
Later that day Mosh managed to lose the jedi knight but he however did not lose his son, his son followed him to a place in the sewers and he watched and listened as his father talked with this crime lord and reported every action that the council was making, on the scene there was also two other jedi, one of them stood very still wearing a cloak over his head at all times. after his father left, Zane left quickly too and he returned to the temple, he was brought before the council and they asked him what he saw anything since he was separated from the jedi knight that was sent with him... he said that he saw nothing and lost his father as well, the council believed him and went right back into having nothing against Mosh although they knew he was doing something
Zane returned to his training and asked if it would be alright if the council did not send him to spy on his own father, the council approved of it because of his age, Zane told that he was afraid of being hurt or something, so the council put a few jedi knights on the matter but all of them turned up dead very quickly and this instantly made the jedi act on Mosh, however when he was confronted he had perfect proof of him being in different places at the times that these jedi were murdered. the council was still very alert with him. Once Zane had constructed a lightsaber he was sent with his father everywhere he went, the jedi council now had Mosh on serious watch as they looked into everything and he was almost completely trapped inside the temple, but he gladly agreed to it all, however he escaped sometimes during the night, only being seen by his own son, who was now grown.
Jedi Knight
Right after becoming a jedi knight, The first day he was sent on a mission with his father and one that day he told his father what he saw when he was a padawan, he also told his father that he never spoke of it to the council, Zane also mentioned that he saw his father leaving the temple at night, over and over again and all he asked for in return after sharing this with Mosh, was that Mosh tell him what was going on, Mosh simply told him that it was something much bigger than both of them and the jedi council. even though Zane did not like the answer his father gave him, he accepted it and the two continued there mission in the sewers of coruscant.
about a week after there conversation they were both sent on another mission on tatooine, when they both arrived on tatooine they headed straight into the nearest town to pick up information, while they were there, Mosh left Zane along and went off into the desert, however Zane knew to watch his father and he followed him as he went off into the sand, later when Mosh came back into town he saw Zane and told him that he hadn't found out much, Zane said the same to his father and he his mind he couldn't believe what he witnessed his father doing while he was gone. Zane didn't say a word to his father about following him or what he saw, he just gave his father the information he had gained and they used it to get where the needed to go and they completed the mission on tatooine and returned to coruscant and the jedi temple
Upon arriving Zane wanted to go to the council but he didn't, he just went to the temple and had a talk with one member of the council, the one that he trusted the most, this member of the council had been there for Zane more than anyone he his life and Zane trusted him more than anyone. Zane told the jedi master what he saw when he was a padawan and about his father escaping the temple at night when he was a padawan, the jedi asked Zane why he never told them of this before and he simply said it was because Mosh was his father, the jedi master understood but he reported to the council and then the came up with any idea, based on information Zane gave them and what they had gathered up, Mosh was doing something on Korriban so they sent Mosh and Zane on a fake mission to korriban knowing that mosh would do something.
When they arrived on Korriban Mosh sent Zane somewhere and he quickly headed off, However Zane knew to follow him again so he did just that and followed his father. Mosh entered a large cave hidden away on Korriban, Zane followed. inside of the cave was just what the jedi council knew it was, a hidden dark jedi base, Mosh had turned to the dark side of the force. Zane hid inside of the cave and listened to conversation until a dark jedi inside the cave that seemed to be the leader sensed him, he used his power with the force to pull Zane down from his hiding spot and slam him to the floor, also pulling his lightsaber from him in the mean time, Zane was quickly surrounded by dark jedi, this cave was infested with users of the dark ways but thankfully for Zane the jedi council weren't watching things from afar, they were right there with him as they rushed to his aid, he was tossed a lightsaber and they battle began.
Few masters and knights were sent but it seemed to be even to win, the leader of the dark jedi was one of the first to fall as he was overwhelmed by jedi and killed, along with most of the other dark side, and in the end will all knew what was coming and the council wanted it, Zane was left standing with a lightsaber and his father came at him from behind and there battle began, the other jedi were order to stand down and watch, they were not to aid Zane if he if were about to die but in the end it made no difference as he won his battle and killed his own father.
all of the jedi returned to the temple and everything that went on was told before the council, Zane stood in the room with his mind gone from him and his head down, no one cared to bother him as it was told before the council that he was the one that killed mosh in the cave, so the council let him be for the time being, but he soon began to act as though nothing was bothering him and he asked to be returned to missions in the galaxy and assigned a new master.

it had been just a few weeks since what happened on korriban and still it lingered on his mind like it were but a second ago, he could not do anything to remove the thought from his mind that he took the life of the man that raised him and took care of him, the man that took him in and gave him life when no one else would. Zane tried his best to justify his actions to hiimself by saying that his father had turned to the dark side but it really did no good. He got up from his bed in his chambers and he slowly walked his way over to a window and he looked out, at coruscant.
"I've taken my own fathers life."
again he thought that it was good of him to do it, because of what his father had become but again it did no good, he knew these emotions were bad so he would tell no one that he had them, then again the council was not stupid and they would sense his emotions, his anger at himself. Zane wanted more than anything to become a great jedi, he didn't want to be the best there ever was, he simply wanted to be a jedi master and serve to the best of his ability. While standing at the window he looked down at his side and saw one of his two lightsaber, he focused on the weapon for a moment, this was the very lightsaber that he killed his father with.
"Father.."
he raised his head and looked forward as he reached with his right hand and grabbed the saber from his left side, he then turned around and activated his saber and as it activated he just stared at it and it's pale orange glow and he thought to himself about what he had done with this saber. he then suddenly looked forward, showing a lot of anger in his eyes.
