Jetii Fett was a young Mandalorian soldier when he was injured during a mission where his detonation pack prematurely detonated while trying to retrieve a weapons cache, causing him to lose his right hand and the vision in his right eye. After this accident, Jetii put the military life behind him and returned to his native Concord Dawn where he took over a farm from his father, Kot.
Six months after this, he was married to a fellow Mandalorian named Ka’rta. Then about a year after that, Ka’rta gave birth to a son they named Sol’yc. Sol’yc Fett was born on Concord Dawn to Jetii Fett and Jetti’s wife, Ka’rta Fett. Both Jetii and Ka’rta were farmers, whose military glory days were behind them. Sol’yc was raised like every other Mandalorian child, by his mother until he was three years old. When he was three, his father began to teach him in the ways of war, preparing him for the verd’goten he would have to take at the age of thirteen.
Sol’yc was routinely taken off the Fett Farm, to be taught how to hunt, how to operate a blaster, and to build his strength and get stronger. Over the next ten years, Sol’yc would get stronger and better with a blaster, being one of the most skilled Mandalorian hunters, among his age group on Concord Dawn. When Sol’yc was thirteen, he was submitted to the verd’goten, which he passed, but it tested his body to an extent it had never been tested before.
After his successful verd’goten, he decided what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to travel to Nar Shaddaa where most of his clan who headed off-world were at. He knew what they were doing, stories of it were told around the camp. They were working as muscle for the Hutts. It wasn’t so much the job that called to Sol’yc, but it was the Credits they were making. He wanted to make that much money as well. So, it was Sol’yc’s duty to train himself, with the aid of his father and a family friend. He pushed himself to the limit, even when his body was aching with pain and he felt like quitting, he didn’t. He knew his future career would require much physical exertion, and that’s what he was prepared to do.
The next five years of Sol’yc Fett’s life would be devoted more to his training and conditioning than to caring for his family’s farm. When he was eighteen, he finally felt that he was ready to head to Nar Shaddaa, so after bidding his family farewell, he traveled to Nar Shaddaa and upon arrival sought out members of Clan Fett. The Fetts were primarily imployed by Logar the Hutt, formerly of Sleheyron. Logar was eager to employ another Mandalorian, and after Sol’yc was pointed in his direction by the Fetts, he was employed as a bodyguard and a debt collector for Logar.
This suited Sol’yc well, for he enjoyed beating down people who owed the Hutt money. On top of all that, the flow of credits from the Hutt, allowed him to live a life he would have never been able to live on Concord Dawn. However, Sol’yc would quickly grow sour to the tight fisted Hutt, who was getting cheaper and cheaper every year, and not paying Sol’yc what he promised.
One day, when Sol’yc was twenty-five, he took his recent frugal pay from Logar and departed Nar Shaddaa. His destination was the homeworld of the Mandalorian people, Mandalore. Upon his arrival on Mandalore he discovered that there was some sort of military being formed, and he quickly signed up. He would never forget the day when Brular Beviin, the recruiter for the military and a respected Mandalorian from the Clan Beviin, shook his hand and dubbed him Private Sol’yc Fett.
Sol’yc was transported to train in a Mandalorian base, and it was there he would stay for the next two years. It was unlike any training Sol’yc had ever done, and the two years he spent there were pure misery. However, once training was done, he was shipped to Dxun where he served as a Sentry for four years, all the time, getting well known among the camp and some honor from members of the other Clans serving their tour of duty on Dxun.
When Sol’yc was thirty-two he was promoted to the rank of Corporal. This made Sol’yc pleased, because he was no longer a lowly Private. Now Sol’yc is thirty-three and still on Dxun. Rumor has it however, that Sol’yc is about to be transported off of Dxun for a new planet where he would continue to serve. Sol’yc has other plans however, while he loves his job, he misses the high volume of credits he was receiving as muscle on Nar Shaddaa. He would never desert the military, but if the pay was right, he would request a temporary leave and work as a Bounty Hunter or Mercenary. He is just looking for a taker.

(Takes place on Nar Shaddaa, when Sol'yc was twenty-four)
The droid came beeping back to Sol'yc who sat in the cantina. "Statement: The target is wandering around freely. Query: Does he not know what happens to those who do not pay a Hutt?" Sol'yc merely looked at the droid and replied quietly "I don't know droid. Your job here is done." With that final word, Sol'yc stood up and strode out of the cantina.
He scanned the people who passed him carefully, until his eyes fell on his target. A rather large Besalisk smuggler, who had mysteriously "Lost" a shipment of spice that belonged to Logar. Frowning, Sol'yc hurried toward the Besalisk pulling out a blaster. Apparently the Besalisk had seen him coming because he had pulled out a blaster and aimed a shot at Sol'yc. The blaster shot whizzed past his head, and smirking, Sol'yc raised his blaster and quickly fired a shot at the Besalisk, injuring him in the chest.
Sol'yc made sure to not kill him. Dead men pay no debts. He walked over to the injured Besalisk, and leaning down over him, he whispered dangerously "Listen to me. Next time we have this little chat, it won't end so well for you. Just pay Logar what you owe him. All right?" The Besalisk merely nodded his okay and smiling Sol'yc got to his feet and hurried away, to report his success to Logar.
