Bio: Davis was born on Coruscant to two Republic military individuals, Dia and Terang Cari’Tan, Dia being a Republic Army Corporal and Terang a Republic Navy Captain, commanding a Hammerhead-class cruiser named Freedom’s Shield. Years ago when they were children, they both were born on Coruscant, left at the door of their orphange a year apart from each other, among a small communities of a mix of beings, including humans, Bothans, other Shistavanens, Sullustans, and several other races, where they were raised in a orphanage. Terang and Dia barely saw each other and never spoke, sharing possibly a dozen words over a decade. They grew up surrounded by several other races and with no Shistavanen parents, they grew up without most of their race's heritage.
Years later when they were both 18 and had left the orphanage, they both went to join the Republic military, Dia going for Army and Terang for Navy. Terang started as a starfighter pilot, going through several engagements and acquiring several kills, while Dia was assigned to a squad as a sniper, having excellant aim and reflexes. They went through several years of service, occasionally seeing each other on Terang's ship. One of these times, they finally decided to talk extensively and started to become closer, finding many things in common with each other. When they had to return to their posts, they kept in constant contact, eventually seeing each other as much as possible. After seeing each other a year, Terang proposed to her and they both married. After the marriage, Terang returned to his station, requesting a transfer to Fleet Command. He was accepted and put on the bridge of a Hammerhead cruiser as a navigator. Dia continued with her squad as a sniper, gaining the rank of corporal finally. Terang after another couple years, was finally given a command of his own after having proven himself in battle several times, showing him a above-average leader and strategist. He was given command of a Foray-class corvette, which he captained for several more years againest the Sith before he was transfered to a Hammerhead cruiser, which he named Freedom's Shield.
A month later, Dia became pregnant. She was pulled out of combat temporarily till she had Davis. When Davis was born, they agreed to have him cared for a year by a day care then Dia would leave the army and go to raise Davis. After another year of service, Dia kept her promise and left the Army, returning to Coruscant and taking Davis back. She cared for him for a year or so, getting acquainted with her child and he with her. Throughout his childhood, she raised him like she was, being content with all manner of species and people. He learned to welcome others and gained several friends over the years, though he was always slightly quiet and secluded. Upon him turning five, Dia started teaching him schooling and some other skills, such as how to use computers and how a blaster worked, giving examples through a replica of a blaster. After a year or two of that schooling, she sent him into a private school, urging him to get the best grades he could get and to learn all he could. He listened to her and did the best he could, acquiring top grades in his class. Once he was 14 years old, his mother started pounding basic training, drilling, and other training techniques she had learned in the military into Davis. He took to it well, especially when she started teaching him how to repair mechanical items and blasters, and teaching him to fly airspeeders and speeder bikes on the few occasions they visited nearby planets (especially when they visited Dantooine). During all these years, he rarely saw his father. On the few occasions he did, they talked a little and such but were usually very distant with each other. Upon Davis’ 16th birthday, his father was able to come to it and give him Davis’ present personally, a brand new blaster, a belt and holster, and a small gift of credits. They talked very much that day, getting re-acquainted with each other from all the years they were separate. At the end of the day, they were much closer then they ever had been, and Davis was determined to join the Navy as Terang had upon reaching the required age. Terang expressed his love to Davis that night by giving him a long hug and saying how proud he was of him, just before he had to return to duty. Terang returned to his vessel and went out on another patrol near the frontlines as he did, engaging enemy convoy’s, protecting space lanes, and other missions. Upon one mission, he engaged a Sith convoy. As he was engaging it, he took down several of the transports and even a corvette that was protecting it, though several minutes into the battle, a Sith Interdictor-class cruiser dropped out of hyperspace right behind his Freedom. His vessel turned to engage it and did a minimal amount of damage to the Interdictor, but after several minutes of the Interdictor barraging them, the Hammerhead’s shields finally gave way and took many blasts to the hull. It floated in space a moment before the reactor went off and destroyed the rest of the Hammerhead, along with Terang and most of his crew.
Several day’s later, Davis and Dia learned of Terang’s death, both being extremely shocked and saddened by his death, especially Davis. Davis stayed shocked for several weeks, unable to believe what had happened. He finally accepted what happened and was determined to join the Navy more then ever and fight those who had killed his father. He went through the next few years of schooling with a renewed vigor, getting excellent grades and learning even more training from his mother. Upon reaching the age of 18, he gathered his few possessions, his stash of credits, and such, then said goodbye to his mother and left home. He went straight to a Navy recruitment building and signed up, going through the physical exams and basic training quickly. He then went through basic starfighter training, then transferred to Fleet Command, becoming a bridge crewman on a Hammerhead-class cruiser, being stationed on weapons. He went through several engagements with the Sith, using his strategic skills to coordinate all the Hammerhead’s weaponry and squadrons into a effective fighting force each time. One of these engagements was when his ship went on patrol near the Republic/Sith border. They encountered along the way a Interdictor and a couple corvette vessels. Davis followed orders to the letter, ordering the squadrons to launch at the captain's word, having them engage the corvettes while the Hammerhead went straight for the Interdictor. The fighter squadrons engaged the Sith fighters while the bombers moved in to engage the corvettes. After a single salvo each, the corvettes were either destroyed or disabled. As they were busy doing this, the Hammerhead moved in on the Interdictor. They slowly circled it, coming up behind it at the engines. As they came within range, the turbolasers and torpedos opened up, barraging the shields and eventually breaking through and damaging the engines. By then the bombers and some of the fighter squadrons had returned to engage the Interdictor. They put in several salvos of torpedos and laser cannon fire before the Interdictor finally turned and fled into hyperspace. Davis quickly gave orders to the gunner crews to finish off the remaining corvette, then got a damage report to the captain.
After his 6th engagement, the Hammerhead came into another engagement against a Sith Interdictor. The bridge was hit and most of the crew were sucked out through the viewport into space, including the Captain and the second-in-command. Being the highest ranking man on the bridge, Davis took command of the vessel. He regrouped the fighter and bomber squadrons to go againest the Interdictor, combined with the Hammerhead’s main cannons, they were able to take down it’s shields and quickly disable key parts of the vessel, then finally destroying it. When they returned to base, Davis was promoted to a commander and put in command of a new Interdictor-class cruiser, which he named Freedom’s Avenger. He went through several more engagements, defeating convoy’s and several small battlegroups with the help of some fello captains over time. One such engagement after he had been a commander for several weeks, he and his Freedom went into combat with a squadron of 5 Sith vessels. His Freedom's Avenger and 2 Hammerhead cruisers quickly organized themselves, launching their squadrons and taking defensive positions. As the Sith battlegroup approached, Davis ordered the squadrons in, engaging the Sith fighters and once those were eliminated the capital ships. As the bombers and fighters hammered at the shields of the ships, Davis and the two captains moved forward with their vessels, coming within maximum firing range. Davis ordered the Hammerheads to split off to come around the enemy group while he pushed into the center at full speed. The Hammerheads followed his instructions and came from the sides, putting the Sith battlegroup in a crossfire. The Freedom opened fire on the group from the front with it's arsenal of weapons, crushing several of the smaller Sith ships in minutes. Davis then ordered the bombers to move in for bombing runs. As they launched their salvos, he ordered the Hammerheads to move in with a pincer move on the remaining Sith ships, now shield-less. The remaining vessels were destroyed. Davis and his group sustained heavy fighter losses and some minor hull damage to all their ships but that was all, acquiring a victory for the Republic. After having been in the navy approximately 10 years, he has now been promoted to a Commander and was assigned 2 corvettes and a Hammerhead, along with his Interdictor.

Davis’s eyes glanced about slowly, taking in the sight of his Interdictor-class cruiser’s bridge. He eyed several of the men and women throughout the bridge, where they worked at their stations. He walked up to the viewport where the white lines of hyperspace could be seen. Davis said loudly. “Lieutenant, how long until emergence from hyperspace?” The navigator turned in his seat and said quickly. “One minute approximately, sir! We should arrive over the supposed Sith convoy and be in a position to do a heavy barrage, taking down half the convoy in a minute or so, as you ordered.” Davis nodded slowly and turned back to the viewport. Several minutes later, the Freedom’s Avenger dropped out of hyperspace in the middle of empty space. Well, except the convoy of vessels directly in front of the Freedom and the small fleet that accompanied it. Along with the Freedom were three vessels, two Foray-class Republic Blockade Runners, The Shadow and Raptor, and a Hammerhead-class cruiser MKI, Titan’s Blade. The fleet slowly moved into position, spreading into a aggressive screen. Shadow and Raptor quickly dashed forward toward and engaged the outer transports and fighter screen. Titan’s Blade slowly moved forward toward the convoy, once within range it’s cannons opened up on the convoy. Davis watches this for several minutes then said. “Move us forward at full speed to cut off the convoy. Open up on the whole convoy once our gun’s are within maximum firing range. All ships, launch fighter squadrons. Alert Raptor, Shadow and Titan’s Blade to commence the pincer move upon my signal.” The Freedom’s Avenger slowly moved forward towards the convoy. Davis waited a minute then said. “Send the signal. All ships commence the pincer move!” The fleet quickly turned about, the corvettes on the left side of the convoy, the Hammerhead on the right, and the Interdictor in front. The corvettes and Hammerhead rush into either side of the convoy, laser cannons and turbolasers seen speeding through the black of space towards the convoy, destroying several transports in the first wave. Then the Interdictor opened up with it’s quad cannons and turbolasers, ripping through the remaining part of the convoy. After one more barrage, the convoy was large hulks of metal floating in space. Davis watched the carnage a moment then said. “Tell the fleet to form up at coordinates 4567-345-3456 and prepare to launch to hyperspace. We have about five minutes before a rescue group will arrive here.” Slowly the fleet formed up at the assigned coordinates, about a kilometer away from the destroyed convoy. Upon reaching their destination, the ships moved into position then launched into hyperspace, one by one, back to Republic space.
