(Look at the bottom of Eris's profile for a description of the Revenant. Oh and I've PM'ed both of you with the details)
Despite Eris’s proud stance, it was obvious that the robes of the order weighed heavily on her as she considered her latest task; her void milky eyes falling on the small holo-projection before her. The image was of a young boy with a steely gaze and a slightly chubby face, his current attire a little darker than Eris cared for. She’d heard that his master had died as such news traveled fast within the order but she didn’t expect the following event, where she’d have to take him on as a padawan. With a pained grimace, she turned her gaze aside as she brushed her fingers through her hair in frustration, resisting the temptation of an emotional outburst.
They knew she’d already picked out her own padawan so she was filled with questions like, what if the one was to believe she was showing favoritism or they didn’t get on well with each other. Surely the council knew how fickle and prone to paranoia some of the initiates tended to be but she knew they’d made up their mind. So, with a small bow of her head, she accepted, “Very well, if it’s what the council wishes.” At the very least, they hadn’t dismissed her already picked out padawan so she wasn’t going to dismiss their request that she train this one.
With everything said and done, Eris calmly reached out and pressed a small button on the table the projection was on, watching as it flickered out before looking up towards the council. “I shall attend to my padawans then. May the force be with you,” she said before giving one final bow and turning on her heel, her robes billowing out behind her as she stepped swiftly out the council chambers. She wasn’t angry or excited, she was simply late.
As she made her way through the halls, she pulled her hood tighter around herself, causing a dark shadow to fall over her eyes as she entered the Jedi hangar. The light click of her footsteps echoing throughout the still ship enclosure as she approached the Revenant, the transport she hoped to meet her new padawans at. Logically, they probably wouldn’t know the ship itself though so she’d simply left them a message to meet in the hangar. Stopping just under the Revenant’s cockpit, she slowly turned to observe the hangar entrance, folding her arms by tucking her hands inside her copious sleeves as she waited.
