Silence. Boredom.
Two states that often come together but are not dependent on eachother. Although to a normal being they are synonymous, a Jedi percieves them differently. Especially...a Consular! Samme sat in his quarters exulting in his latest promotion to Jedi Consular.
"But...what is a Consular to do?", he murmurred.
Obviously his goal would be to become highly knowledgeable in the force. But what does one do to achieve this?
"Am I to go on missions for the council? Do I study for the majority of the day? Do I ask more experienced Consulars to teach me?"
He began to take note on his new datapad, his goals.
----Entry 1: Goals as a Consular----
[ ] 1) Become very knowledgeable in force technique. [ ] 2) Become a well respected Jedi [ ] 3) Take in an Apprentice
----End of Entry 1----
Samme stared at his goals pondering multiple ways to accomplish them whilst accomplishing greatest success possible. Only 17 minutes later, and he began hoping someone would knock at his door and guide him, or help him accomplish his goals.

Yenrug Kin had heard of his brother Jedi Samme Malan's promotion from another of his Jedi peers, and was on his way to the new Consular's quarters within the Jedi Temple.
Kin and Malan had trained together many times throughout their youth, both Jedi being 25 years of age, and Kin was pleased to hear of Samme's new status.
Arriving at the Jedi's quarters, Yenrug knocked the door gently and let himself in...
"Samme, I am here to congratulate you on your new rank! Well done old friend. Forgive me for letting myself in, although I'm sure a Consular such as yourself could feel my presence from the moment I set foot in the corridor." Yenrug joked at Samme in his native language of Ithorian.

"Hello there Yenrug! I did sense you outside my quarters. You have changed much since I last had the pleasure of seeing you."
Samme grinned and patted his fellow Jedi on the right shoulder.
He truly was happy to recieve a visit from his old friend. The last time he had seen Yenrug was a few years ago while they were both padawan learners. At one time the two were very close friends. Samme continued...
"So! How can I be of service? Please have a seat."
He hoped others would soon visit him also...

OOC: Sorry for the time it's taken to respond, got really tied up with work stuff and I didn't get time to even think about using a computer, fixing them is enough sometimes.
"You are aware of Master Kipper Lennox's unexplained disappearance, yes?" the Ithorian began, again speaking in Ithorese, "I have been feeling pulses through the Force. The kind I used to feel when I was under his tutelage, only they're weaker... and darker." Yenrug gave a deep sigh, causing the air to vibrate with the power of his four throats.
"I do not wish to ask this of a friend, Samme, but I am unable to focus on my duties until I get to the bottom of these pulses... Could you perhaps meditate with me on this, focus your will through mine? I am sure a Consular could at least point me in the right direction."

While Yenrug spoke, Samme could feel the worry in his soul. It consumed his friend, a dangerous position to be in. Knowing a kind response is always the best, Samme chose his next words carefully.
"Yes I had heard faint whispers from a few other Jedi of his sudden disappearance. I would be more than happy to help you uncover this mystery."
Careful words for a troubled spirit. Being sure to project to Yenrug that a friend would be there to catch him when he falls.
During meditation, Samme saw flashes of Master Lennox slashing with his lightsaber in the dark. Seeing no one but the master, with the most perverse of faces. He seemed so wicked. The searing of the saber was troubling, only surpassed by continuous screaming. One shriek during this vision gave away the location of Master Lennox, the shriek of a beast only heard on Onderon. Knowing that telling Yenrug would only cause severe denile in his friend. Samme decided to hint Yenrug to a path that would allow him to witness this unfortunate twist.
"My senses were clouded when I tried to locate him. It is possible they were being deterred purposely or a dark force is behind this mystery. This will take you to a dark place, a path which should not be taken lightly, nor alone. "
