Jarael sat in his room, his legs crossed over each other and the palm of his hands opened and facing the ceiling. His eyes were closed and his mind was wandering. Wandering through the cords of the Force. He often did this to keep at peace. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes and got to his feet.
He brushed his braid back and stepped out into the hall. Jarael stuck out from the rest of the Jedi. While they wore shades of brown and white, he wore all black robes. He walked in the direction of the training room. That's where he spent most of his time. He had nothing better to do. He was fourteen, but had no Master.
He also was not sent to Agricrops. Jarael also continued to carry around an old training saber. Finally he reached the training room. There were people scattered throughout the room, either sparring with others or meditating by themselves. He found a nice secluded corner where he could practice his combat skills. He switched on an old training droid and ignited his saber.
The light blue blade popped up with a slight whoosh. The droid ignited its green saber and immediately opened up with a harsh swing for Jarael's stomach. Luckily, Jarael had fast enough reflexes to jump back just in time. Jarael retaliated with a stab for the droid's chest. his blow was blacked. Jarael opened himself up to the Force more and more as the battle progressed.
He was soon jumping and leaping about the room to avoid the droid's attacks. One attack just barely caught Jarael in the shin. Blocking out the pain, Jarael did a front flip over the droid, twisting in midair to land facing the droid, then slashed it across the back. The training saber's power automatically shut the droid down. Jarael had a little sweat on him. As he sat down to meditate, he started to notice the pain in his shin.
