Nar Shaddaa, the smuggler's moon, aka, Xander's second home. It was always full of life and a constant, never ending energy that only the biggest of cities could produce and Xander loved every bit of it.
The zeltron had only just landed his ship, the Femme Fatale on a nearby landing pad and was now heading for his favorite cantina, the Graceful Gundark (shush it was all i could think of xD), to get a nice tall glass of juma juice. With a heavy sigh, Xander sat down in one of the seats of a small table in the corner and made his order.
"Yup, this is just what i needed." A small smile formed on the rather scruffy zeltron as the thought came and went at the sight of his drink approaching. Xander gave the waitress a weak yet still very charming smile.
The waitress smiled and winked as she set the drink down and left immediatly, leaving Xander to his drink, the feeling still wasn't the same as normal, he wasn't getting the thrill he usually recieved from flirting, well, making girls want him. Without a second though, he downed his drink, smacking his lips in a satisfied manner, quickly waving for his second.
The drinking always helped him stop dwelling on the events of 2 months ago. Lanara destroyed him, wether this was on purpose or not, it hurt him either way.

((OOC: To avoid Sith plotline continuity issues, lets just say this takes place right before the mission Novus is returning from in Dark Ascension.))
The sky was the color of a holoscreen tuned to a dead channel as Lidah Faine stepped out of her shuttle, blinking under the hanger's harsh lighting. 'Nar Shaddaa. Don't you ever change.' The thought flitted across her awareness, sarcastic even without being given voice. Backwater cesspits such as this were a prime example of why Iniquitous and Paxis were right – something had to be done. The galaxy needed to be reined in, and there was no sign of the Republic ever accomplishing that. A pity, truly – such places being a dependable source of manpower for any cause with pockets deep enough, doubly eager to fight whoever happens to be in power at the time. The Sith Apprentice was here today to secure such manpower, if on a very small scale. One or two decent mercenaries would be sufficient, backing for her mission just in case things went awry. Smiling faintly, Lidah joined the stream of people leaving the docks.
---
Humming softly to herself, the Arkanian moved through the crowds without much notice, deterring anyone who proved too interested in her presence with nudges of the force. For this foray into Galatic society Lidah's traded in robes for standard civilian fare – she wore tight black slacks, boots, and a long coat lined with the fur of some exotic beast, left unbuttoned to reveal a striped shirt beneath and a tantalizing 'v' of fair skin. A holstered blaster swayed at each hip, taking the place of her precious sabers. Though it didn't show outwardly, the absence of the familiar-unfamiliar weight left her feeling jumpy with a vague sense of unease. It was like going out with shoes but missing one's socks, to try and put it into words.
Quite indifferent to the many flashing advertisements vying for her attention along the skyline, Lidah simply ducked into the first bar she came across. 'The Graceful Gundark? Sounds like a nice place.' Lidah's nose scrunched up at the smell of stale sweat and grease, but she found a seat regardless, having little hope anywhere else on this moon would be better place to start. Placing an order for a drink, she woman shrugged off her coat, her disappointment increasing as she realized that, a part from herself, the Zeltronian man in the corner was the only customer. Lidah cursed under her breath, taking a generous slug of her drink as it arrived. 'Just my luck.'

With yet another drink gone, Xander once again waited for his next glass, his eyes darting to the door as a lone woman entered the cantina, a woman who was beyond beautiful. Golden eyes widened as the fair skinned woman sat down and ordered a drink, it had been some time since Xander was this....awestruck by a girl, it didn't happen often but when it did it always meant something good.
Maybe it was the booze starting to get to him, as unlikely as that was or maybe it was the fact that he was ready to start fresh again but whatever it was, it caused the zeltron man to stand up slowly and approach the young woman. Xander ran a hand through his hair, slicking it back so he looked atleast somewhat presentable and taking a seat to the left of her, drink in hand.
"Ya know, it's dangerous for someone as beautiful as you to be wandering this moon alone."
A small smile formed on Xander's face as he took another drink from his rather tall glass. "You're not really from around here are you? Don't take this the wrong way but......you don't exactly fit in around these parts. Where are my manners? My name is Xander by the way, a pleasure to meet you." Xander extended a hand to the woman, a fairly larger smile now forming, his perfect teeth now showing.
It was now that a small group of Rodians entered the cantina, all armed to the teeth and coming towards Xander. " Give us the money you owe now or you'll die." the leader of the group demanded in Huttese.
"I'll have it to you tomorrow so sit down, relax, have a drink." Xander offered the seat next to him.
"No! You die now!" The rodian then pulled out a blaster pistol, as well as the rest of them. With a heavy sigh, Xander drew a blaster pistol of his own with lightning speed and shot each of the Rodian's weapon hands. "You guys gonna behave now? Or do i have to harm you further to make you guys back off? You know i really don't want to." The zeltronian the holstered his pistol and waited.
Without a second thought, every one of the thugs ran away in fright, not wanting to increase their wounds. "Sorry about that, i hope that that didn't frighten you at all." A sincerely apologetic look now took shape on Xander's face.
