Alright, so this might come as a bit sudden to some of you (given that I made a long suggestion just a little while ago) and to others it might not. I should really be sleeping but I feel like I need to get this done before I do so, otherwise I know I’ll just keep putting it off when I really need to do it straight away.
But so people get the idea from the start, I’m taking a break from SWU, two weeks to be precise. I wont be visiting or logging onto the forum or any of that jazz if all goes well and hopefully when I return I’ll have dealt with a few things in my life that I feel need dealing with. For one there’s my current inability to write which is really getting to me. I think I need to try and just spend some time away from SWU to sort everything out, think outside of the site, plough my way through a book or two and come back reinvigorated, brimming with motivation and ideas that will hopefully last me a good long while. At the moment I’m lost, can’t find my bearings and am no longer on the path I set out on, but I mean to change that.
Now, obviously, me taking two weeks off is going to kick up something of a fuss and more than likely slow things down to some degree, so let’s get to dealing with how my absence won’t have a negative effect on you guys
. I’ll be vague, I’ve spoken a few things over with the admins and I’m going to be PMing them the plot progression ideas and such, I’d probably expect an announcement from them soonish whenever they get the chance to implement things. But rest assured, they’ll be in a position to move things in the right direction.
Now, I understand I might have missed a thing or two because no one’s perfect. So if the admins wish to speak to me about any of the stuff/issues then I’ll welcome it. However, I would like to distance myself from SWU as much as possible for these two weeks, I have no problem chatting to folk as an associate/friend or even on a writer to writer level, but I’d rather I was asked/spoken to about SWU directly, if you all wouldn’t mind. I’d take it as a real kindness.
Now, I have PMs to start writing about all my different plots and the site plot so I’ll be away for now. Might linger around the cbox until I get these done but once I do I wont be back until the 1st/2nd of December, all being well. Well, usually I’d write something drastically larger but I think this is enough. Keep the place alive, growing and progressing whilst I’m gone guys
