Well, its finally happening. The Blades are about to get their first taste of combat with the Sith Order and the Sith Empire. All of the player controlled Blades will be in this battle, and a good deal of Sith Order initiates will be as well. Save Vreem Took, who took a good deal of the Blades to Taris.

The ice world of Rhen Var is very close to Sith Empire territory and Rhissai, one of the co-leaders of the Blades, believed that it was a high value target. So she, along with Levin Caelum, dispatched a team to defend the small enclave from the Sith Forces that would no-doubt come to the planet seeking the Jedi's knowledge.

The Blades are essentially fighting a defensive fight in this one, as the Sith came with a moderately sized Naval fleet that will be in a high orbit. The Sith military will be plundering the Jedi relics stored within the temple while the Sith themselves will be engaging the Jedi in combat.

There will most certainly be multiple threads in this one, the exact number depends on just how many people are playing. There will be a considerable amount of Sith Empire NPC troopers, but the Blades get no such support from the Republic.

There are due to be some edits to the main post at some point.

Basically, all of those Blades wishing to sign up will have three different ways to do so (giving them three different contexts/backgrounds upon which to base their character in this event).

First of all is as a member of Rhissai's little team who have gone to Rhen Var to spread the word about the Blades and officially recruit some more members. There are a total of five positions in this group, two of which have been taken by Rhissai and Levin.

Next there are those Jedi part of the Order who before/during/after the battle will join the Blades. This is the only one of the three options that, as of yet, has no limit.

Finally is the option to join in the battle a little later as part of Vreem's relief force. Now, this will mostly be ships he could spare from Taris' defense force and any ship (s) in the nearby area that could respond to a request for aid (so basically the Blade could be arriving and returning with Vreem or arriving with Vreem and then leaving back to the nearby system that they are stationed at, I personally recommend the first of those choices). There a total of seven positions in this group, three of which are taken by Vreem and his two apprentices.

We'd like all Blades signing up to state which group they would like to be in, two of them have limited places but one is, for the moment, open to any/all.

For the Blades, Rhissai's group and Vreem's group will be with people who have already joined up to the Blades.


And on a separate note, sign up Caleb Malkav, Sith Apprentice of Darth Novus, or at least he will be in time for this thing. Should be interesting for him.

I'm not 100% ready seeing as i havent sat down with the other people im working with to come up with a battle plan just yet, but i'm thinking there will be two main groups.

a shock force with me, and the tidal wave that will crush and smother the temple's security forces.
