Naraaine smiled as she outside of the main entrance to the sith temple. She had never been here before, but had heard many stories of its greatness, and frankly...they hadn't done it justice. It was a magnificent structure that reflected the true glory of the sith, something those dark jedi would never be able to comprehend. Oh but she was smarter than them, more dedicated, and far more driven than they would ever be. She wanted to be more than them, to be something great, and this is where she would get it. This was going to be the start of her ascent into power and recognition. It wasent going to be easy, but nothing in the young girls life had been yet, so she felt there was nothing that she could not handle.
Not a moment later the Girl let out a sigh and began to march up towards the front door of the temple. Now that she was here she needed to find a sith, a sith who would see potential in her, and allow her to train under their supervision. Around her it was deathly still, as if the world now held its breath to see what would happen next. Each step seemed to be abnormally loud to her, though that could have been a trick of her own hearing. Her body was wrapped in a tight cloak that was neatly pulled around her frame. It had only 2 sleeves, which would seem unusual if anyone that had known what she was had been watching. Her upper arms fit neatly into these sleeves while the lower ones were crossed and being held under her bust so as not to draw to much attention. The hood on the cloak was also drawn up to hide her face both from prying eyes, and any adverse weather effects that might cause discomfort.
Naraaine thought back to how she had gotten here now while she approached a great door on the temples exterior. The trip itself had been long and uneventful, but the action that had earned her freedom was more than exciting. So much so that she had relived the sounds of her masters death over and over again in her mind. He had been such a fool, and a waste in the force, there was no doubt there. She was definatly much better off now that he had passed.
It took several long moments for the young Codru-Ji to get to the large doors, and she was shocked to discover that they had been locked. This was of little concern however as she lowered her hood, and loudly banged on the door with her dominant left hand. She also began to shout so that anyone inside could hear her. "HELLO... IS THERE SOMEONE THERE...LET ME IN''' Her voice seemed to pulse with frustration at her situation. She had come so far and the front door was locked. Typical.

Shandari was sitting in one of the medidation chambers, alone for once. The girl she and Shard had discovered was now healing in a kolto tank. The strange meeting still seemed to make her think. It bothered her that it did. She did not know why, it just did.
After hours of meditating, she left the temple. She just needed to get away for the time, clear her head, and she seemed to not be able to do that within the temple. The Rilan woman took off into the sky once more. She landed at the spot Shard had shown her, taking her meditative position once more. By the time she re opened her eyes, the sky had gone dark, and night was upon her. She silently sighed. Of course it was night. She once more took into the air.
She landed in the darkness, away from the temple, and pulled her wings into her robes, laying them across her back. Once she made sure they were in her robes, the Rilan woman strode up to the entrance to the temple. There she saw a woman pounding on the entrance. Another silent sigh escaped her lips. No doubt their mutant door man was neglecting his duties again. She walked forward until she was directly behind the girl. Her mind intruded into the strangers, and her voice echoed in her head. "Why are you here?"

As Naraaine continued to bang on the door while shouting, she failed to notice the pressence of another force user behind her. At the time this could have been expected as she had a degree of fatique, both from a long travel, and lack of nourishment. Though once the voice emerged in her head, she was suddenly made aware of the pressence, despite not knowing exactly where it came from. Her fist now rested and head now rested against the door, and a smile crossed her black lips. Finally after what seemed like hours someone had come, someone had shown up, and acknowledged her pressence here. The voice in her head was an obvious indication that this individual was a force user.
Naraaine closed her eyes and pushed free of the door so that she was standing without its assistance. she turned on her heels now to face the owner of the voice in her head, and was shocked to see a younger woman standing before her. She had heard many tails of the sith, and their power knowing no bounds, but it taking years of ones life to reach that point. Often the most powerful sith would be decrepit skeletons. This was all she had really known of them, and a future she had been prepared to meet herself. But here, in her midst was no ancent fossil, instead the woman could not have been that much older than herself. Her assumption then that this was an acolyte of the sith, possibly sent out to test her.
"I am looking for the Sith lords... I have come to learn the true power of the darkside. Naraaine spoke in a strong tone, so that anyone who may be listening could hear that she was not afraid. She took a few steps towards the woman now and knelt down before her. Her intention was now to show that she could also be submissive as well as fearless. "I request an audience with your master... I wish to be an acolyte like yourself." She looked up now with orange eyes at the woman, now taking a moment or two to get a better look at her.

Shandari scrutinized every inch of the woman with her cold, black eyes. Nothing seemed special about her, though she could see the marks the dark energies of the force had left on her. Acolyte? Her, an Acolyte. This girl had no idea who she was. Shandari didn't know whether to laugh or be insulted. "Girl, I am no Acolyte..." As before, the voice only sounded in her head, remaining calm and emotionless.
This girl seemed to want admittance. Well the Sith already had trouble with one person, Shandari would not let it happen again. She would test this one before letting her even enter the temple. And should she fail or try something unwise, the woman would kill her. Shandari drew her double bladed saber, igniting only the teal end. She strode away from the entrance. Only one word echoed in the girl's head. "Come at me."

Naraaine suddenly had a look of confusion and fear on her face as she stood up to look the woman in he eyes. The woman before her had sounded angry as her voice had filled her head. This way of speaking was new to the young girl, never before had she heard someones voice in her head this way. To be truthful it was both exillerating and terrifying. She could only assume that such an ability took a great deal of control over the force, the kind of which she wished to have. Before she could appologise for making the alcolyte comment however, before the woman in front of her pulled out and ignited a beautiful teal lightsaber. From what Naraaine could see the weapon was double bladed, though the woman had only activated one side.
Not a moment after that the woman began to strode away, this was immediatly followed by the womans voice in her head again telling her to come at her. She did so without question so as not to risk offendingthe woman any further. She now had serious doubts about what her master had told her of the sith. If this woman was not an acolyte, but carried a lightsaber she certainly was a trained Sith, possibly a master, so maybe they werent all decrepit and old. If he had lied about that, perhaps he had lied about other things. But this was not something to be concerned with now.
Naraaine hesitated a moment before nodding her head to the woman signifying that she understood. With a quiet sigh she lowered the hood to her cloak and un fastened the top clasp. WIth a woosh it fell to the ground exposing her slim form, and second set of arms. She took a moment now to stretch out her lower appendages, as they had been concealed for an extended period of time. Now they reached for the coresponding lightsabers attached to her belt. Once firmly grasped she passed them up to her top hands, and with a flick of her wrists thye burst to life. The orange blades pulsed and sparked in an unstable manner, and pulses of electricity coursed through them at odd intervals. Without any more hesitation she charged the woman in front of her, both blades crossed infront of her like a pair of scissors.

Shandari stood her ground as she watched the girl. She was suprised to see a second set of arms hidden under her cloak. Then again, Shandari was hiding her own extra apendages. Still, she was suprised the girl had revealed them this soon. Never reveal your strengths immediatly. To do so gives your opponent time to find a way around them.
Twin beams of orange ignited in the girl's hands, and she charged at her sabers crossed. Shandari sighed. When will people learn not to use that in an attack. It's too easy to counter. Without even moving, Shandari brought her blade down crashing into the tip of the saber on top, forcing both of the girl's blades into the dust. "Again." The order rang out in her head.

Naraaine stumpled forward as her attack was delfected downwards. With a loud hiss both blades cut easily into the top layers of earth. She felt incredible anger at her own failure, her attack had been easy to predict, and now she was exposed to an attack if the other woman so willed it. To make matters worse the unstable saber in her right hand had overloaded causing it to deactivate. She had always hated when this happened, it was a common occurance for her, and despite her best attempts to make it more stable, it simply came down to the crystals themselves, so there was little that could be done.
Moments later the womans voice rang out in her mind ordering her to attack again. Naraaine had not needed the invitation, but welcomed it none the less. With a small huff she pulled herself forward, this time swinging the lone blade in an upwards diagonal cut. The blade kicked up a lone plume of dust and dirt as it moved upwards almost effortlessly. As narraine reached the center of her arc she placed another hand on the hilt of the blade so as to lend more strength to the giant swing.

Shandari noticed the girl was using both hands in the swing of the single saber. While stronger, it was easier for the opponent to guide away. Shandari simply nudged the saber with her own, causing it to veer off the course of the intended target and missed her. Her voice echoed in the girl's head. "Be mindful of how you swing. Don't use just brute force behind it."
The Rilan stepped back once more, giving distance between them. "Come at me again, and this time, give me everything you have, as you would an enemy." A faint smile touched her lips. She hoped the girl was as persistent as she would have been in her place.

Naraaine growled softly now as her second attack was easily deflected. She stumbled again now this time to the left, though she was able to regain her footing again quickly. This woman was making her look like a fool, like she was weak, it was insulting. Now again like before the womans voice invaded her mind. "Be mindful of how you swing. Don't use just brute force behind it." This was a unique concept to her. her previous master had always taught her to swing with evey once of strength she could muster. However given that her master was dead, his teachings had obviously not served him well, so a new approach might be needed. "As you wish..." She spoke in a growl still, her anger at her own failure had not faded yet.
With this new idea in mind she took a few steps back and clipped the deactivated saber securly to her belt again. Once she had put a decent amount of space between them she turned to face the woman again. This time she held her blade straight out in front of her, with both her upper left and right hand. She took a second, now focusing on her plan of attack, visualizing her next move and how it would play out. It took her a moment to collect her thoughts and attain a proper level of focus, but once she had managed she ran at the woman again.
As the gap closed Naraaine placed her lower hands on the hilt of the blade as well. She now had all four limbs in contact with the blade, and began to swing it from side to side. It cut the ground on each side of her as she continued to close the distance, but now she implimented her new plan of attack. In fluid motions the blade continued to swing from side to side, but now it also began to be passed from hand to hand. From left to right, and upper to lower the blade seemed to have unlimited angles of attack. Despite this valiant attempt at a unique form of combat anyone could see that the blade was far more clumsy in her lower arms. Finally when she was in striking distance, naraaine passed the blade back up to her upper left hand and swung in a straight smooth cut going horizontally towards the woman.

Shandari's eyes followed the girl as she charged, not watching the hands, but the saber itself. It did not matter which hand it was in, as the blade was what was important. As the slash came, Shandari turned her blade to easily deflect it. "Creative, but ineffective." Shanari lowered her saber and took a step back
"While moving it from hand to hand may work to confuse some opponents, a true combatant would be mainly focused on the blade itself, not watching to see what hand it was in. Now, if you still had your other blade, that would have been the perfect time to strike with it, activating it and striking while your opponent was focused on the main weapon. Even if they managed to block the new one, they would still be caught off guard." Shandari looked the girl over once more. What was she doing? She was here to test the girl, not give her lessons.
Shandari took a few more steps back. "Remember never show the extent of your abilities and resources until you have to, otherwise you give them time to figure out how to counter it. Now again."

Again Naraaines attach was easily deflected, this time however she had not stumbled durring the parry. An improvement for sure, but still not good enough for her standards. She took a few steps back as she heard her opponent speak in her mind again. "Creative, but ineffective." She growled deeply now as her anger began to rise. It felt as though this woman had been taunting her, it had not even fully dawned on the young girl that maybe this woman was giving her instruction, teaching her. She continued to growl as she prepared to attack again, however she was interupted by the womans voice again. Clear and simple instructions, she was teaching her, and doing so in a way that she could certainly learn better than her old master had taught her.
Naraaines temper quickly cooled at the realization of what was going on. She suddenly felt a pang of guilt for being so aggressive, when all this woman had wanted to do was teach her something. "Remember never show the extent of your abilities and resources until you have to, otherwise you give them time to figure out how to counter it. Now again." Naraaine bowed her head respectfully now before responding. "Yes Mistress..." She had spoken faster than she had thought now. He rold master had taught her that any one who would ever take the time to teach her anyhing was to be addressed in such a way. Perhaps this was one of the best things he had taught her.
Naraaine began an approach again, this time slower, and holding the single blade in a defensive stance. Once in range she made a small quick sweep with the blade, cutting horizontaly again. This time she kept her form lose, and reduced the amount of strength she put behind it, so that when the woman deflefted the shot again, she could swing around for another quick strike.

Shandari began to wonder just what she was doing. Why was she giving the girl advice, what made her want to help the girl utalize her sabers better? It was if something was guiding her words, keeping her back from truly fighting and just observing. It puzzled her to no end.
However, the Rilan woman didn't have time to think about this as the girl came at her once more. Shandari swiftly moved her blade to block, feeling the lack of power behind it. Had she wanted to, she could have quickly turned her blade to intercept the true strike, but Shandari wanted to show her just what she meant about revealing your true abilities at the right time. A pink beam now shot forth from the other end of her hilt, moving up to intercept the second attack.
"Good, now you are thinking, but you still have a lot to learn before you could hold your own against me." She waited to see how the girl would respond to this, curious if she would try to keep going, or stop.

Naraaine fell to her knees as the second strike was deflected not by a defensive sweep, but instead by a second blade. All the momentum the young girl had worked up was now working against her as she had slid forward. She had hoped that the woman would have blocked in a more defensive strike, one to stop her own momentum completly but this was not the case. Naraaine looked up at the woman now, the pink blade was inches from her, while her own orange blade pulsed and sparked against the ground. It was certainly an intimidating moment for her as she looked up at the woman now, in fact she could have killed her now without hesitation.
Then as a suprise to Naraaine the womans voice entered her mind again. "Good, now you are thinking, but you still have a lot to learn before you could hold your own against me." This in itself was more than puzzling. This sith had not only not killed her, but even offered some praise. Naraaine now knew that she wanted to be like this woman, to be as powerful, and as controlled. More than anything she wanted more praise, more signification that she had done well. "I am Naraaine Vespar... I submit myself to you now... Please teach me to be like you... To be a sith." SHe lowered her head as she spoke now, her voice trembling with both fear and excitement. What woulod the woman do? kill her? walk away? or maybe, just maybe teach her the ways of the darkside.

Shandari tilted her head curiously, eying the woman. So she wanted to learn from her? Many had fought her, begged for their lives in front of her, ran in fear from her, but no one had ever submitted themselves to her or requested to be trained by her. It was.... interesting.
The Rilan woman walked around the girl, eying her closely. She didn't seem much, but... Maybe she could make something of her. "You better not make me regret this, or you will see just what I do to those that make me angry." She turned and motioned for the girl to follow her.
