The spreading war has affected a great number of people, and the people of this city may perhaps now find themselves homeless after a devastating clash between two armies. And even though the armies have left, the ruins remain dangerous, and some of the buildings are perhaps only a short time away from collapse. Jack Grozmick vs Darth Novus Sith Initiate vs Dark Lady of the Sith 6 Rounds Cas, you're up first. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!! Rebel 1, action!

Ah, the sight of destruction at the hands of war. Thought Xzun "Jack" Grozmick, the sheer display of power wrought onto a city. It just leaves something to be desired. The Force has just left so much behind, it's delicious. The anger of the citizens. The passion of the soldiers. Ah... nothing like it. Jack stood in the center of the war-torn city. Rubble lay strewn about by the devastation. Window-glass was shattered about the place, even some furniture could be seen within the buildings. It brought a smile to the General's lips. As a once-mercinary and now-General, he had an appreciation for these things. He knew the kind of elbow-grease and man-power it took to pull of such devastation. It was almost artistic to him. But that's enough nostalgia for one day, he thought, now is the time to find that lightsaber.
Jack had been instructed to locate and retreive a lightsaber left by a Jedi or Grey Jedi of some kind, which, he couldn't remember. The purpose was to acertain the demise of said Jedi in the battle that had taken place here. An odd job, considering they sent him alone, without any troops to assist in the search. Perhaps they were setting him up, perhaps not. It was hard to discern with them. Strange things had been going on in the Sith Empire of late, assassinations and shifts of power were clearly afoot. And an exceedingly small number of the Empire knew he was a Dark Jedi. It made no difference. He would just meditate here in the center of the city and see what he could come up with. Surely there were some subtle hints he could dig up surrounding this Jedi's lightsaber, as every soldier leaves his mark on the battlefield, and this Jedi would leave quite a unique one, considering.
As he pushed himself deeper and deeper into the Force, extending his presence and prodding the city-scape, he perked up at something unexpected, something that piqued his interest and pushed him closer to his previous assumption of a set-up. It was a presence. A dark presence.

'What a waste...' The thought trailed off as Darth Novus took in the ruined metropolis, scenes of its destruction playing behind closed lids. Weeks had past since the attack, but through the Force, that spanned less time then a beat of the Galexy's heart. It was easy enough, with practice, to let the Self slip away and merely observe. In that mediative state, Novus felt the death of the city, its inhabitants, in a rush of explosion wash and panicked screams that left her ears ringing. Stumbling to her feet, the Arkanian leaned heavily on the upset ferrocrete remains of some main concourse. Moments ticked by as the woman caught her breath and calmed her mind in the same manner taught to her as a child by the Jedi. Lightyears ago, as far as she was concerned.
”The resources and workforce of a planet, wasted just so Eurachis could test out the fleet's weaponry.” She spoke under her breath in harsh tones, sneering. This sentiment was spared any compassion for the millions dead, fueled entirely by annoyance at the behavior of her comrade. A charred rock served no one, after all, except perhaps the most stolid of the Jedi, happy to rot with their knowledge in places no one else would be foolish enough to live. That aside, could you imagine the proud Sith Order tending to anything so mundane as the growing of its own food? Novus snorted at the idea of the one called Shard, plow in hand.
Recovered from her glimpse at the city's destruction, Novus drew her presence in the Force back in upon itself, making note of another presence with some degree of surprise. Why anyone, much less another skilled in the Force, would be here still was beyond her immediate understanding – her visit entirely a matter of sating her curiosity. 'A Jedi, perhaps? No, even the Jedi would have given up on hope for survivors by now. Doesn't feel like one anyway.' With a sudden shiftof mental exertion, the Sith Lady activated a technique known as Force Concealment to hide herself from the other, accompanied by a familiar feeling of pressure in the back of her head.
With some measure of haste, yet careful still to quiet her footsteps, Novus made her way to where she'd sensed the other Force Adept. Climbing to the third story of one of the skeletal ruins, the Arkanian caught sight of him, mild recognition flickering behind her eyes. 'General' Grozmick, one of Eurachis's newest officers, seemingly meditating in the middle of the ruined street and for all appearances unaware of her presense. A predatory grin touched the woman's blue lips, a bit a mental shuffling reassigning some of her ire over the attack from the man she couldn't touch to the one she very much could.
Very suddenly, the Dark Lady leapt into action. Literally. Aiming to connect with her heel to the man's jaw, Novus jumped from her ruined perch, utilizing the Force for balance and to add impact to the blow if it connected. Regardless of if she hit or not, the woman landed with a little too much speed and slid several feet, splashing dirty rainwater. Recovering and drawing to her full height, the silver hilt in her right hand ignited with a hiss, red blade lending its pale wielder and otherworldly quality. A superstitious man might have waxed poetic on the sight, an avenging specter for the many-dead.

Neology Effort: 4/5 Fairness: 5/5 Detail: 4/5 Coolness: 4/5 Bonus: /2 Comments: Nice post. I actually rather like her view of things, and the way both of them are part of the same faction, but view the destruction differently. I also liked your description of her at the end.
Total: Cas - 15 Neo - 17
Alright, let's see how this unfolds.

As soon as the presence had appeared, it was gone, it was a subtle hint at the being’s intentions to Jack, who had encountered his fair share of those who hid themselves. Naturally, these people would do one of two things: fight or flight. What he felt was powerful, and it was predatory. Therefore he decided that this being would be choosing the former of its options, as it had no clear reason to retreat. Though he no longer sensed it, he was still deep within his meditation, deep enough to sense and feel. To hear the emotions irradiate off the walls of the decrepit structures surrounding him. To smell the pain in the blood of the earth. To see the devastation woven into the past of this once proud city. To feel surge of an attack rushing towards him. Though his ability to sense in the Force was not up to par with that of the average Jedi Knight, even such people could extend their presence while under the affects of meditation. Jack was in such a position, and his sense of danger skyrocketed.
He quickly leaned back, just in time to avoid the flying of feet directed towards his jaw. He could feel the whoosh of air as the attack missed its mark, the resulting attack leading to the assailant flourishing past him, their speed sliding them several feet. In the same motion, they whirled around and brandished their lightsaber, the glow of red striking up the features of their pale body. It was a fair-skinned female, no older than her late twenties, of silvery hair and grey eyes. The one who stood opposed to him was none other than Lady Novus of the Sith.
The fact that she had attacked him would not be forgiven. He had learned long ago and had it deeply engrained within his very being, that the only way to get by in this galaxy was to kill or be killed. A feral grin lit up his face as he dropped the chains on his ever present anger. Anger that glowed with an orange rage, an orange similar to that of the lightsaber he ignited in unison with his assailant.
Well met, Dark Lady Novus, He said with a bow, But, in light of your most recent action, I am afraid that I cannot allow you to go unpunished.
With a Makashi flourish that flowed instantly into an Force-guided Ataru lunge, Jack set into a series of Makashi-form attacks on the Dark Lady, never once losing beat in the rhythm it flowed in. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal blows reigned down with strength in finesse and precision. Each move was compounded and complimented by the next, flowing with thought and control. He never once checked to see if a blow would land, as he planned the next move and executed it, the assault was his only goal. He wanted to gauge what the Lady was capable of with a lightsaber, to understand who she was and how she fought. He stopped abrubtly with a Force-push and a strong Force-enhanced leap backwards. As his flew back, his feet slid on the dirt, on foot in front of the other, and his right hand flew up all with the same motion. He threw the Force through his hand at Lady Novus’ throat, attempting to pull off a Force Choke. Every move he had made, he made out of exporation, to feel and prod at his opponent. This Choke was no exception, while his Makashi attack had been to test her skill with a blade, the Choke would determine her skill in the Force. He Force rushed at her, determined to hit its mark of her neck. Let us determine who the true predator shall be…[/color]
