Anyone play this online game?

I've been on it for a few months now and was wondering if I might have some friends on there.

I have been on it before but got tired of it =/ there is nothing no there to do except trae and fly around. Can't even fight anybody, and becoming a Jedi is very hard and takes alot of time! Although, it still i s a very fun and cool website/game to be apart of. Player for over a year.

Yeah, it can get repetitive, but I'm enjoying it.

The funnest part for me was making the character!!! There is sooo much to choose from and all that. Maybe I'll pick it back up sometime

Hmm, maybe if you can throw me some suggestions/knowledge my way about it and what you were thinking. Setting up some random merc crew? Taking over the Galaxy?

I read some stuff and got a general overview, but I don't know if I'd be interested in just playing it alone.

I haven't ever even heard of it. Maybe I'll sign up but I need to see if I can access it here at work first. If I can't then it just won't be happening for me. I'm afraid I don't have enough time after work to do anything like gaming. :/

You're never really alone in the game. There are tons of different Factions/Clans/Government Groups to join with lots of members in them that have their own agenda and what they want to accomplish. There is Jedi Order, Smuggling alliances, galactic empire, space pirate groups, and a bunch of others to choose from. But you can only join one. Its always fun to pass the time, but unless they enable more competitive objectives like quests or battles against eachother, I don't think i'll join anytime soon.

I know. Picking a species is hard, but I was aiming for a pilot char, so I went Devaronian, for extra piloting points.

Oh, oops. I should have explained, haha.

I was just mainly wondering if anyone else played. I'm already involved in a group/faction.
But if any of you join up, I will put in a word for you to join us.
Look up the faction "Knights of the Fountain." We mostly do mining stuff.

Star Wars Combine...

The species choices are spectacular. The skills are quiet good. Factions--wow!

But that game is the most evil, tedious, micromanaged piece of junk I've ever played. It has a learning curve that's shaped like a brick wall. Someone has to tell you how to do half everything, you can get killed (arrested) way too easy. It's all in real time, but not. You basically have micro chat rooms for everything that matters, but you need a separate program to run all those.

It's a lot more work than it's worth. I'm glad you're having fun with it. I actually really liked my character on there, but I just can't make myself commit to something like that. Good luck, I do hope you continue to have fun with it.

It is a little tedious at time, yes, but I don't mind that since I can just send my character off on a hyperspace trip for a couple days and not worry about her. It's not like other browser games I've played where to do well you have to sit on it for hours. This way I can still play a game and get other things done.

And I haven't even ventured into those IRC chats at all. Maybe that's why I'm not doing much.
