The DLA is now kickin! {LINK!}
Now, for this thread, I'd like a specific order to keep things organized. Me first, obviously then either Rugs or Meira after that- I'll let you two decide who goes when. After that, whoever posts here first, goes first XD.
This is the first of many missions that the DLA will encounter, but once the ball's rolling after this thread, ya'll are free to go nuts on non-mission type rps.
If anyone has any ideas/ questions, go ahead and post them here. Also, I've come up with a few future mission ideas, which I'll post here right now! Lemme know whatchu think (y)
Thread Title: Ballroom Blitz
Objective: Mess the Sithy richies up!
Details: Basically, I was thinking the DLA could sneak into a big party the Sith have thrown- sorta a victory ball of sorts. They'd pose as waiters/waitresses/cooks/ other workers before locking up the building/ planting bombs all over it!

Objective: Save Civilians
Details: The Sith have set up concentration camps of sorts around Dantooine, I figured our little band of Rebels would try to shut one down and free the captives- maybe even recruit some people to their cause!

Objective: Knock down a large Sith convoy
Details: Well, even the DLA needs to restock supplies, and it just so happens a large transfer of supplies is gonna pass the Kylah Plains- anyone up for a little train robbery?

Thread Title: Armored Prayer
Objective: Get some heavier firepower
Description: Alright, so the thought here was that the DLA would come to the conclusion that more firepower is always good, and since they can't exactly get their own, they could steal it from the Sith(of course!). Now, the heavier firepower I had in mind is some kind of armored vehicle--not necessrily a tank, but that would be ossim--that they could steal one, maybe two of and use to go cause a bit of havoc.

Objective: Evacuation as the sky comes down
Description: So, the thought here was that, perhaps after the DLA carries out a few successful missions, the Sith would start to get a bit frustrated and try to get them. The Sith's answer? Bombarding some random town with artillery. The DLA would find out about this just before it happened and the race would be on to get in and get as many innocents as possible out before the Sith's wrath falls on the town.

Objective: Er... don't die? *points down*
Description: Alright, let's see if I can explain this the way it played out in my head. Basically, it'd be another attempt by the Sith to get the DLA. Word would reach our little band of heroes of a massacre in some town, and they'd go to check it out(it'd be at night, for some reason... dun ask why, cause I dun know xD). Anyway, they'd get there and there would be some terrible scene with the dead and dying everywhere, ruined buildings, and so on, that I'm sure would lead to feelings of anger/moodiness/sorrow/RAGE!/etc. While they were mourning/looking about/doing whatever, the Sith trap would spring and they'd be swarmed by some Sith force, and they'd have to get out of the town and to safety, preferably without dying xDD.

Objective: Scouting Mission- Examine a new Sith base/weapon
Description: Well, I was thinking Mo/Nikki would lead this mission, with other more stealthy member types. Basically, the Sith have been spotted building a new base- with rumors of some sort of weapon in it. Get details about it folks.

Objective: Create a distraction for allies by wreaking havoc on a Sith installation
Description: As has been established, the best way to obtain new equipment and supplies would be to steal them from the Sith. A logistics base has been spotted which presents an ideal target for a theft. Problem is, there are guards all over the place. Any attempt to get in while they're present would be doomed to failure. The simple solution is to distract them - and the best way to distract them will be to blow the unholy crap out of them. A brave band of soldiers has volunteered to wreak havoc on the Sith base in the hope that they'll draw the guards out and give a team of infiltrators an opening to get in, grab everything that isn't nailed down and get the hell out.

Objective: Assassinate a high-ranking Sith officer, steal some important documents from his base then burn it to the ground
Description: An influential Sith officer has been placed in charge of a nearby command post with the sole intention of plaguing the DLA with probing attack after withering probing attack. Word is there are all kinds of useful documents to be found in this base; convoy routes, supply manifests, you name it. A team of DLA fighters has signed up for a risky but hard-hitting mission: kill this officer, take any documents of importance and get outta Dodge. Given the nature of this assignment, it'd be best not to leave any clues that could lead the Sith back to them. The best way to make sure of that is to bomb the place into oblivion - anyone for a good smash 'n' grab?

Objective: Steal some weapons, supplies, and a handful of new landspeeders
Description: A Sith convoy supply base has become somewhat famous for successfully fighting off every attempt by the DLA to steal from it thanks to the synergy and teamwork of its guards. But a good portion of their number have been reassigned to a logistics base that suffered a few casualties at the hands of a DLA raid, and coupled with the extra fuss of a patrol convoy comprised of a few armed landspeeders stopping to rest and resupply the remaining guard force is stretched thin. Now is the time to strike; a small DLA force has been assembled to attack the base and make off with these speeders and any weapons and provisions they can get their hands on. Time to show these guards that they're no match for a good old-fashioned heist.

Objective: Take the spy down!
Description: It finally happened, after keeping a close eye on it's members, a Sith spy finally has weaseled into the DLA somehow. Vehicles have been sabotaged, as have weapons- find the impostor, and take them down before Homestead is revealed!

Mission: Free Bird
Objective: An important Dantooine Senator is being held in a Sith encampment. The group must locate the Senator and rescue them.
Details: It doesn't necessarily need to be a senator but it should be someone of political influance that the Sith are trying to use to gain more hold. The Senator is being used as a political hostage. The team must infiltrate the camp, free the senator and get out of dodge without being discovered. This won't be a straight blast 'em and shoot 'em mission as the encampment will be HEAVILY fortified.

Mission: Black Out
Objective: Locate and Destroy a Sith media tower
Details: The Sith are using a series of media towers constructed around the larger cities to broad cast messages to the remaining people of Dantooine, urging them to give themselves up. The team needs to get to the tower, upload and broadcast their own message telling the people to be strong and resist because the DLA is out there fighting, and then destroy the tower as they leave.

Objective: To locate and destroy the base camp where Sith are importing trained hunting beasts to sniff out the rebels and any stray survivors
Details: The Sith have started to import vicious beasts with good tracking skills to Dantooine. There, they are training them to hunt and track the native peoples of the planet. This is causing havok since the beasts are leading the Sith straight to the few remaining groups who have escaped the attacks. The team needs to get to the camp and find a way to disable the hounds, destroy the base, and/or sabatoge the operation to make it look like the hounds are failing at their given tasks.

Objective: Stop the Raiders!
Details: Despite the chaos that now covered Dantooine, raiders are still as active as ever- if not more. Rape gangs, looters, murderers, the worst any sentient could muster. Unfortunately for our brave DLA- one of their scouts has accidentally found Homestead! The pair of Reeks filled with the raiders are now rushing back to their base to report their find- and chances are, whatever gang leader runs this mangy band will sell the DLA out. Mount up, and take the raiders out before they reach their base! (That's right, I've made a "car" chase)

Objective: Stop the raider menace once and for all!
Details: Due to the careless raiders the DLA chased down, the DLA now has the location of the raider's base and their leader- Fistbone. These raiders need to be stopped, they've been posing as DLA members to get a village's trust before striking. Not to mention that they'll probably find Homestead again. Mount up, and load up- it's time to end this menace.

Objective: Save a Dantari tribe from certain enslavement and help relocate them to a more remote area.
Description: The Dantari, original natives of Dantooine have been discovered by Sith forces. Because of their primitive culture and stout body structure, they are too tantalizing as possible slave labor for the Sith to pass up. Having recovered intelligence of this, the DLA can't simply stand by and do nothing. Like the concentration camps mission, the goal is simple, get the people out. But after that, we'll have to help relocate them to a more remote area where the Sith won't find them.
Benefits: The Dantari have a particular plant that they use for medicinal purposes. After helping them, it is possible that the DLA will be able to learn about the plant and it's properties.

Objective: Kill it!
Description: On a simple supply run to a local city, in civilian garb, a small group of DLA members will be attacked by one of these (Link}. An epic chase scene across the city will ensue, either with the DLA escaping or finding a way to destroy it.
Notes: This droid will be played by someone. Permission given by Delta to use it.
