So I've noticed a few people here have this game. One of the best I've played in a long time I must say. So Dire's title and my boredom inspired me to make this thread out of curiosity of what path everyone's been taking, or heck, if they don't have the game what would you be? (You can download the character creator for free off of Steam. I <3 Steam.) Isaac Amell Human Magi Mage - Primal, Shapeshifter (burn n' bite ^ v ^)

I have it for PS3 and ive got a human warrior. I go with the two- handed sword and i run around with aAistar, the qunari guy, whose name i have never bothered learning because in-game i am racist against him, and my dog, and i miraculously win fights this way. I like to think of us as a band of witch hunters purging the unclean, because i am a warhammer fantasy/40k geek and i am obsessed with that overall concept.

Then I must strike thee down! I've been switching up my party a lot, but generally it's Alistair, Lilliana, and Wynne. Now and then I'll switch out Alistair for Sten or the dog. I've been trying to play the conceited firepower mage that makes fun of demons.
Gets me into planety of amusing trouble. ("May the dirt taste delicious when I feed it to you." Dwarf proving FTW!)

let's see... I've beaten this game 3 times now, on my fourth playthrough and i'm STILL not bored of it.
1st: Human Warrior Nobleman- Sword and Shield- Party: Wynne, Alistair and Shale- Love: Morrigan
2nd: Elf Rogue City Elf- Duel Swords- Party: Sten, Morrigan, Dog- Love: None
3rd: Human Mage- Sword and Shield- Party: Wynne, Leliana, Dog- Love: Leliana
Current: Human Rogue Nobleman- Longbow- Party: Oghren, Shale and Wynne- Love: Leliana AND Morrigan (Yeah, I know)
If you couldn't tell, I love this game. And for the record, Blood Mage and Arcane Warrior is a DEVASTATING combination (y)

Brilliant game, combat could use work but immersive storyline and universe more than makes up for it. One of the best plots and missions I have seen in a game.
I played through as a Human Nobleman Warrior, I often times shifted my party around cause I liked everyone. It usually depended on what I was doing. Usually though it was:
Me, Alistair, Morrigan (Damage), and Wynn (healer).

If morrigan wasn't a shapeshifter, i'd use her more. But really, i've NEVER used that power. Favorite classes for each include
Warrior: Templar, gotta love negating magic
Rogue: Ranger, great way to have a free party member. And the spider rocks
Mage: Blood Mage, you can deal some serious damage with these powers

Nice job on landing both chicks Dutch. Im trying to pull that off myself, but i think leliana hates me a little. I havent unlocked Shale yet, but i think he will take the place of my dog once i unlock him. Now that i think about it, im psyched to do that now. Oh, happy birthday sir.

You need a spirit healer to survive though, If I didn't have the ability to heal my entire party and rez them, I would not have gotten very far.
The Dragon was next to impossible for me though. It was so gay he kept getting reinforcements. He decimated the mages I saved for him.

Yeah, best army I found for the final fight was the dwarves so far. And yeah, a Spirit Healer is really necessary, whether it be wynne or specially trained morrgian.

Hmm, I don't think I tried the dwarves, it was cause I used them at the beginning a lot and in one of the battles my dwarves got hammered by archers. I didn't have many left by the end.
