Ku'Gonxa vs Talgo Flong (10 Rounds)

Setting the scene:

The sun sat clear in the sky, feeding the green surfaces of Dxun. It was warm, but a minor breeze trailed across the air, stopping overheating from taking place. A stream ran through the peaceful area. It served as an emergency drinking post for those desperate to rehydrate their bodies.

Against a nearby tree sat a man, his face battered and bruised, blood trickling down his shirt, turning it crimson. His arms and legs were bound, but these limbs sat loosely, no longer moving as their master's eyes stood closed, it was obvious that this man had been knocked out.

Water splashed quickly, diverting any attention away from the unconscious man. Boots pushed hard into the cool and thin liquid which slithered like snakes over darkened rocks. Two men stood in the stream, the bottom of their boots disturbing the flow of the water.

At one side stood Ku'Gonxa who had recently taken up a once in a life time deal, instead of his normal smuggling, this time he had taken up kidnapping, a pompous aristocrat who had created many enemies, enemies who had enough money to pay Ku'Gonxa ten years of smuggling work.

But facing him stood Talgo Flong, a Mandalorian who had also taken interest in the man who sat slouched against the tree. A man who had insulted not just his honour, but the honour of his entire clan, treating them like scum and throwing his slandering words at them. Oh how much pain he sought to bring down upon the man.

But it seemed that only one of these men could have their way, one sought profit from his life, the other honour in death. Which was to win in this clash? Money or honour?



Remember, this is just a starting location, you don't just have to fight with these surroundings, use your imagination ^^.

The stream was small, but lined on each side by thick plantlife, stinging nettles, poisionned flowers, and creeping vines. There were trees on all sides upstream and downstream, some thin, some wide enough to take an anti personel round and still stand. The gloom of the jungle beyond was an inviteing location.

Ku Gonxa observed these places, searching for a quick position for defense. His eyes flicked back to his opponent. He knew he'd need all his faculties for this fight. Slowly he pulled back his hood, revealing a head dotted by bristly hair, not unlike a fly. His black goggles glinted from the sunlight. The Mandalorian was just waiting for him to make the first move, was he scared?

No... Mandalorians were hard fighters, he wanted a battle. He wanted a challenge. Fair enough... but if he got the chance, he'd grab his cargo and get the hell out of there.

Ku'Gonxa lifted his left hand, as was his cultural custom, and lowered it in agreement to his enemy, ackowledging his intent.

With his right hand, Ku'gonxa quickdrew his blaster pistol and fired it over the Mandalorians shoulder not really careing if he hit him or missed him. Not a split second after he had pulled the trigger he dived for the cover of the gloomy jungle.

Talgo looked at the ku'baz before him. Talgo gave the alien some credit, the guy had the courage to stand his ground, against him. He ducked and rolled to his side, activating his jetpack and flying up to the tree tops. Landing on a branch, the bounty hunter searched using infrared binoculers. He found a lifeform and flew in that direction.

Talgo landed right behind the ku'baz , pulling out his elite blaster rifle and blasting away.

Comments: What you wrote was good and I liked how you worked around the difficulty of showing fairness and talked about your opponent and what they would be like. The only thing I can suggest is the same as most, try and expand more on everything, I can see you've definitely got potential in what you've written.

Comments: The two main things you need to try and improve is one, the detail of your posts, you need to try and expand them as much as possible, and two, the definite tone which comes from your writing, you make it sounds as though avoiding blaster fire is an easy process and that landing behind your opponent and blasting away is an easy thing, try and make it sound as though your fire will hit them. For example, 'pulling out his elite blaster rifle and blasting away' try something like 'pulling out his smooth and sleek elite blaster rifle and aiming a few shots at his nemesis' back.' See what I mean?

Ku'Gonxa made a loud buzzing sound with his long nose, sort of like a shriek, sort of like somone blowing their nose, as the Mandalorian openned fire at point blank range.

The distance closed and outgunned, Ku Gonxa did the only thing he could think of. Blaster fire sliced through his cloak as he spun around the barrel of the blaster. Not thinking he grappled with the Mandalorian and slugged his helmet. The knuckles in his hand cracked with a resounding sound, to which the Ku'Baz whirpped, in pain. He clenched his nose to bite it back and dropped his blaster. With his good hand he groped at the Mandalorians neck. Desperate to squeeze the life from him. The veins on his hand stuck out, and his nose flailed about.

"WHIR WANDAWORIAN!!!!" He whirped loudly.

Talgo stuck his leg out at his side, and then slamed it against the ku'baz's waist. Talgo reached for his assassin knife, grabbed it, and plunged it into the side of the strangler's stomach. His right hand grabbed the opponent's trunk/snout and pulled on it hard. Talgo wanted this thing off of him, and then dead.

Urm. Yes he did give you a chance. Read his wording very carefully.

Where does it say he actually started strangling? The fact he groped at the neck means he tried to place his hands upon it.

I'm calling this dual Jenno, give the win to Infiltrator. This is just stupid. Wait about a month for a guy to respond, won't take a second chance. Its just rediculous to carry on with it like this.
