The Battle of Yaga Minor

Alright, here is a map of Yaga and a better representation of our defenses.

Brown Secotr

Location: Outside the city limits and largely forested. Small area outside the city is cleared but mostly covered by the shield. Sith must land slightly outside the shield near the forest. This is the current location of Sith attacking Purple Sector.

Current Manpower: None. Outside of the city has been totally evacuated.

Defenses:

• Anti-personnel and tank Mines
  
• Debris blocking path of and slowing tanks

Purple Sector

Location: Outer Perimeter of the city bordering the forests. Mostly residential areas

Current Manpower: Heavy, largely planetary security forces with very few units of Republican regulars. All of the planet's forces are concentrated along the outer rim. Republican Regulars are largely being kept in reserve.

Defenses:

• Light AA guns designed to knock off Gunships, Transports, and fighters.
  
• Heavy Turrets and gun emplacements
  
• Energy Shields (Protects against long-range attacks from artillery and ships) [Generated from Grey Sector generators]
  
• Spotting Towers with snipers, gun emplacements, and cover for firing
  
• Heavy cover for defenders from incoming attacks.
  

Grey Sector

Location: 2nd rim of the city. Surrounded by another wall. Mostly factories here.

Current Manpower: Very light (mostly snipers), troops from outer wall will fall back to here if the perimeter is compromised.

Defenses:

• Very few AA guns designed to knock off Gunships, Transports, and fighters.
  
• Heavy Turrets and gun emplacements
  
• Energy Shields (Protects against long-range attacks from artillery and ships) [Generated Here at four locations, North, South, East, and West. All four knocks down the outer Shields, if all four not knocked out Shields will hold but will not last as long and will not sufficiently protect the sector]
  
• Spotting Towers with snipers, gun emplacements, and cover for firing
  
• Moderate cover for defenders (in terms of walls and forts) but many buildings and streets to fortify.
  
• A great many snipers scattered in the buildings.
  
• Heavy Artillery Emplacements
  
• Tanks and offensive vehicles
  

Red Sector

Location: 3rd Rim of the City, Protected by an outer wall. Most of the office buildings are here.

Current Manpower: Next to none, if Grey sector compromised, defenders will fall back to here. If Grey sector falls and Red is under siege, evacuation sequences will begin.

Defenses:

• Heavy AA guns designed to knock off Battleships.
  
• Heavy Turrets and gun emplacements
  
• Energy Shields (Protects against long-range attacks from artillery and ships) [Generated from White Sector generators, will turn on if outer shields fail. Not as strong as outer shields]
  
• Very few entrances to this area.
  
• Very concentrated area, will allow for easy defense by few troops.

White Sector

Location: Innermost circle. Transportation facilities are located here. Commander Center located here. Surrounded by light wall.

Current Manpower: Next to none. All of the spaceships in the Central Station are located here. If soldiers are here, they are working to evacuate themselves and civilians.

Defenses:

• Heavy Turrets and gun emplacements
  
• Energy Shields [Generated here from a central generator]
  
• Offensive ships are located on perimeter of where all ships are located, their weapons will cover transports and serve as heavy turrets and forts.

if possible, i'd like to deliver a message via commlink to the republic side, it would be recorded in advance and sent directly to the planet surface, displayed on as many republic monitors as possible once the fleet has broken through and the ground forces are deployed.

if it is going or not begun yet I was wondering if I could get my senator involved. She could be on the planet for diplomatic reasons when it falls under attack.

Ok, I know I asked about the other major event, and I should really be on top of things, but, alas, I am not for reasons that aren't that good, but I digress. So...

How is Dark Tombs going down? What's our goal in there, and how is it moving forward? Also, what Jedi and other Sith can we expect to find there? I know it says it's a Sith thread, which is why I'm clarifying. Sorry bout this...

AFAIK, the Sith are pushing up through the Temple from the bottom in that thread. As for what Jedi they'll encounter, I don't really know, though I'm sure there'd at least be plenty of NPC Jedai to get dangerous on. That's all I can say for sure though.

And, don't mean to sound rude, since I know mistakes can happen, but shouldn't this be in the Rhen Var thread, Casie-poo?
