Bio:
Just like any other Kaleesh, Krranos was born into war. While he didn't participate in it for many years, he was still surrounded by it constantly. His father training constantly, going off to battle, his mother wondering if it would be the day he wouldn't return. Suffice to say, the early years of Krranos' life were quite hectic. It was his culture though, and as such he couldn't complain, it flowed in his blood. It was a good thing too, for Krranos' father was a famous warrior. Had the young kaleesh not been enthusiastic about killing, his father would have no doubt ostracized him, or even worse.
It was around the age of 4 that Krranos began his formal martial training. Training began the Lig sword, the standard weapon for any Kaleesh warrior. While his father's blood ran through him, Krranos' skill with a blade was mediocre. His father admonished him time and time again for his lack of aptitude with the sword. Krranos was not one to give up though, he had become as stubborn as his father, and pushed forward with his training. Sparring with his father, his peers year after year until his father was moderately satisfied.
Shoni spear training started at the age of 7. Krranos seemed to pick it up relatively better than the sword, giving his father some hope. The hope was to be in vain though, for his progress soon came to a halt. Once again his father kept pushing him, and once again Krranos did not give up. He spent the next three years training with the spear endlessly. Through sheer force of will, Krranos was able to achieve moderate skill with the spear. He was still far behind most of the other kids in his clan, something his father had not taken lightly to.
Ten years, after ten long years, Krranos had finally found his niche. The age of 10 was when Krranos was granted the privileged of training with the Outland rifle. It was nothing but a simple slugthrowing rifle, but it was the final weapon in the Kaleesh arsenal. A weapon which for once, Krranos wielded unusually well. His father soon realizing this, discarded the rest of his son's training in favor of the rifle. Krranos had never trained so hard in his life, the mental and physical requirements pushed him far past his limit. He moved from hunting beasts to those of his race, always at a distance, but deadly none the less.
Now at 14, he was a bonafide Kaleesh warrior with his exceptional rifle skills. His talents did not end with the rifle though, Krranos was starting to show another crucial trait, intellect. It started first with his basic strategy for hunting beasts and other men. Of course at the time, he never thought of it as strategy, just common sense. That was just beginning of course, his strategy soon involved others than just himself. Krranos was now leading hunting parties, no longer tied to his father. Many of the younger and some of the elder Kaleesh began looking up to him. He was bringing their clan fortune and fame with his subtle tactics. Though he was so young, his reputation was soon catching up to his father's and it wasn't due to force of might. Naturally his father's feelings turned from pride to jealousy.
Years moved on, and the clan's reputation began grow alongside Krranos'. Up until now, Krranos had only dealt with those of other tribes, no one from outside the planet. On the eve of Krranos' seventeenth birthday, he spotted a large plume of smoke and the sound of battle. It was quite near his territory, so Krranos quickly gathered a small scouting party and rushed off to the source of the battle. Krranos arrived to a ship in flames being assaulted by Kaleesh of another tribe. Bodies littered the ground, and only a few of the non kaleesh remained. They had killed many Kaleesh with minimal losses to their own side. The man whom Krranos assumed was their commander was doing a remarkable job considering their situation. He was intrigued, he was more than just intrigued though, he respected the advanced tactics that the was witnessing. Krranos had made his decision, which he relayed to his team, they were going to help these non Kaleesh out. Though an odd order, his clan had long ago learned not to question his judgment.
Placing his small squad strategically in the surrounding area, Krranos waited for the right moment. It was revealed and he fired his customized rifle, the others following suit. The kaleesh broke ranks, and were quickly mowed down without mercy. After the last had been gunned down, Krranos stepped out into the open. Holding his weapon up, he slowly approached the crashed ship. The soldiers were wary but their commander stepped forward and approached Krranos. The young Kaleesh only knew a little basic but managed to converse with the commander. He understood enough to know this man was a captain in the Sith navy, and wanted Krranos to come with him. He explained that Krranos' intellect could be of use, and he would have the opportunity to command hundreds of others instead of a measly five or ten. The idea of so many resources at his disposal was more than enough to convince him. Krranos left Kalee with those soldiers for the first and last time.
Krranos found himself in the Sith naval academy on Sernpidal. He was quite an intimidating recruit with his ceremonial mask, and claw like digits. The kaleesh initially had trouble at the academy due to his minimal knowledge of basic. His intelligence soon made up for that as he put hours and hours of extra time into learning the language properly. He was in excellent physical shape due to the constant physical requirements of being a Kaleesh warrior.
He also learned that here at the academy, he was not so special as he was back home. Rifling, which had been his prime skill, was relatively common throughout. Many of his peers were also expert marksman, which forced Krranos to push himself farther as he had done when he was younger. Many of his classmates were also extremely intelligent something which Krranos could not exactly train in. The one characteristic that kept him going was his natural ability to lead. Those who were better marksmen or cunning strategist still found themselves flocking to Krranos. His experience as a leader on Kaleesh had given him the edge over his peers. This was not lost on the teachers at the academy.
The Kaleesh wasn't about to become complacent though. In his experience, complacency meant weakness, and death on the battlefield. There was no doubt that Krranos would be going places with his natural leadership abilities and rigorous work ethic. While Krranos' hadn't graduated top of his class, he was sent straight to officers school. The Sith Empire wasn't about to lose this young cadet in some meaningless battle.
Officers school was an even greater challenge for Krranos, but he adjusted well. No longer crippled as he once was when he joined the academy, Krranos hit the ground running. The kaleesh soon caught the attention of the brass though he did not know it at the time. Just as it had been on Kaleesh and the Academy, Krranos soon found himself being looked up to by others. He was neither ruthless nor kind, putting all his efforts towards bettering himself. It was to no surprise when Krranos graduated officer school as a sub-lieutenant.
Battling on green plains to black space
Krranos' first assignment was to a cruiser attached to a small contingent of other Sith Navy ships. Their orders were to hunt down pirates harassing Sith trading routes. While he had expected it to be very routine, he found that it was far from it. The pirates were extremely well equipped, and well guided. Krannos was placed on the bridge and dealt with the combat control. He worked out firing solutions, relayed enemy positions, and screened tactical data.
They weren't dealing with a small group of pirates though, they seemed to have formed some sort of guild. The years went on, battling the pirates all over Sith territory. Each year, Krranos had proved himself again and again. His uses became more and more and consequently he was promoted again and again. The Navy had been good to him, and he was now a commander, serving as the executive officer to the captain of the cruiser. His voice and strategies were now constantly being heard and integrated. The kaleesh was slowly making his way to a position of true importance.
His captain was a greedy man though, and while a decent tactician, he was not near the level of Krranos. What was more, he knew it, and purposely held the kaleesh back from promotion. Krranos was not ignorant, and had realized this long ago, yet could do nothing. Luckily for him, the brass had been monitoring his progress and decided that enough was enough. At the age of 35, Krranos'kal Ibilin was promoted to captain and given his own ship to command.
One Ship, Two Ship, Three Ship, More!
Krranos, the once tribal warrior, was now in command of his own corvette. Rumors of his tactics had spread throughout the Sith Navy. While there were others who eclipsed his own reputation, he had still garnered a great deal of attention. It was widely rumored that Krranos was the reason the Sith had been so successful against the pirates. He was accompanied by a talented crew, he considered himself lucky. Krranos had an odd feeling that there were other forces at work.
The Sith navy no longer wanted him to fight pirates, but legitimate military. It was not the Republic but many of the independent planets which the Empire had its eyes on. While more formally trained and disciplined, after fighting pirates for all those years, Krranos had the upper hand. Others in the fleet became famous for being ruthlessness or daring, Krranos found such things detestable. Though not as flashy as many others, his cold hard logic was winning battle after battle.
He was quickly promoted to the rank of commodore for his achievements. The kaleesh was now put in charge of two other corvettes. Together they formed a small but formidable trinity of corvettes. They were assigned high priority, top secrets missions time and time again. Their success rate was one of the highest in the Navy and it kept rising daily. Some of the most talented officers in the fleet soon joined their famous triad of corvettes.
Krranos hit the age of forty and still had not reached a position of his wanting. While he now commanded considerable respect, he had still not achieved the coveted title of admiral. Many of his officers suggested he make some sort of bold proposition to the higher ups, gain their favor. It may have worked for someone else, but it was not Krranos' style. He worked hard, kept things simple, used his head, that was how he functioned. Apparently the Navy agreed with the way he did things for they gave him a mini fleet to command and the title of Rear-admiral.
Now he was finally getting to where he wanted to be. He held significant respect, and had many vessels under his command. Whispers said that the only place for him to go was up, and up he would. Krranos worked hard for the next four years, until he was finally called upon for the true duty of the Sith Navy. It was finally time to attack the Republic.

Click,click,click...the sound of claws tapping against the ground. In this case they were the claws of the Kaleesh Rear-Admiral Krranos'kal Ibilin. He paced the bridge of the dreadnought class vessel Total Annihilation. It was the calm before the storm, and a storm was exactly what Krranos was expecting.
"Lieutenant, how long until we exit hyperspace?"
"Five minutes, Admiral"
"Battlestations, Lieutenant"
"Yes sir"
The blue of hyperspace disappeared and was replaced by darkness of space. A flurry of activity hit the bridge as the arrived in normal space. It was not doubt the enemy fleet they had been tracking for the last two weeks. The damn pirates made things so difficult with their hit and run tactics. Krranos had through a series of minor skirmishes finally managed to corner them.
"Lieutenant, report!"
"Detecting four, no five corvettes, and a heavy cruiser, sir!"
It seemed the pirates had mustered up some reinforcement with their last stop. They had a formidable force but their fate had been decided when Krranos was assigned to destroy them. Krranos waited patiently, listening to the reports as they came in.
"Where is the Dauntless?" He asked no one in particular
"Unknown sir, should be here any moment" replied the lieutenant
That damn Caspian, why can't the man ever arrive on time
Just as Krranos finished his thought, a fleet materialized seemingly out of nowhere. It had boxed any exit the pirate fleet would have had. Krranos let out a sigh, and reminded himself to have a talk with the commander later. That was later though, and now was the time to finish these pirates off once and for all.
