Kiala had stayed behind after the rescue of Dutch. The new DLA leader. It hadnt been part of the plan. She was the solitary sort, letting very few in. Rarely talking to anyone outside of Xander and Saerith, and Erle.

Saertiht and Xander had been her friends before she came to the DLA. Erle had made it a point to get to know her. He had treated her with respect and decentcy. Kiala trusted very few, and Elre was one of the few. When she had heard he had been captured she was one of the first to sign up. Her job had been crowd control. She was going to play her part and get to her extraction point. Then she heard those fatefull words.

This is Green. Papa Bear.... Pa-.... Papa Bear is down, repeat, Papa Bear is down. Let's get Big Brother the hell outta here.

At that exact moment Kiala had a change of plans. The few sith she was going to kill werent enough. She wanted to kill them all, to maximize her damage beyond merely colateral. She knew exactly what she was going to do, and at that point she was glad she had brought charges even though her role didnt require them.

As soon as Dutch's extraction was completed Kiala shut down her comlink after a brief conversation with Glitch.

"This is Raven, I'm holding back to ensure nothing sensative is left behind". She puased for a moment," Tell Pink Boy and the Green Gal not to worry"

"Raven those arn't yo-"

Kiala turned off her comlink and went to work.She layed low for the next few days, hiding and finding out the laye out of the base. On the third day she used a code breaker to get into the armory and lay charges, placing them on torpedoes at the bottom of the pile, and out of sight. On the Fourth day she planted charges on the fuel cells, and in the generator rooms. Finaly on the fifth day she placed charges on all the vehicles save one dubbed 'Hawkwing'

It was schedualed to take suplies to a outpost not a hundred kilometers from Homestead. The last thing she did was to set up a probe droid she had aquired from the supply locker and set it about a five-hundred yards from the base. As soon as that was done she hid inside Hawkwing, and deactivated its homing beacon.

Soon she felt the ship lift off, and as soon as it had cleared the base she came up behing the pilot, and snapped her neck cleanly, and setting the auto pilot before the skiff could crash. Kiala moved the pilot out of the seat and took the controls and deactivated the auto pilot.

Reactivating her own comlink she contacted Glitch

"This is Raven, I'm on my way home. I'm in a stolen sith skiff and will be entering the hanger in aproximately fifteen minutes. Ask Big Brother, Little Brother, and Blondie to meet me in the there. Also Glitch...please ask the DLA not to shoot me down...and sorry I cut you off"

"Its all good darlin, just get your cute hind end home and be quick about it"

Kiala smirked into the view screen of her comlink before terminating it. Approximatley fifteen minutes later, Kiala flew out over the bay, barely a foot off the surface of the water and guided the skiff into the hanger area. She set it down gently and opened the hatch. Stepping out prepared to be yelled at.

Saerith glanced up as the sound of a skiff getting closer Touched her ears. It wasn't one she recognized and her right hand strayed down to the handle of her blaster while she began to slowly move backwards all the while watching the mouth of the hangar to see who was coming. a few moments passed and then Kia appeared driving a vehicle Saerith had never seen before.

Saerith's hand left the handle of her blaster but her mouth became a grim slash across her face. What the hell have you been doing? Saerith asked approaching Kia. I thought you had been killed... there saying you disobeyed orders!" Anger was strange for Saerith, she rarely expressed it like this but one of her few friends had risked her life without any sort of explanation as to why.

"You'll be lucky if your not thrown out I hope you know." but despite herself Saerith turned and returned to working on her Grayback speeder in hopes it would cool her anger.
a few replaced bolts later her head had cleared enough to speak calmly.

"I meant to ask you, What did you do with the Sparrow? You didn't take on some sort of Kamikaze run did you?" the last part of the question Saerith stopped to look at Kia. She loved that ship probably as much as Kia did. "If you wrecked it I'm going to shoot you in your sleep."

In her minds eye she saw the ship in a thousand pieces strung across the remnants of a small Sith base and her anger began to grow. She turned back to working on her speeder "I'm sure Dutch is going to want to have a few words with you." Saerith added before letting herself become completely absorbed in the Speeder repairs.

Nikki had been out on the plains again, scouting for any manner of sith forces that might be getting too close to DLA headquarters. She had been told already several times that there was no way the sith would find them out here, and that she should relax, but that was no reason to let ones guard down. SHe had already been out for several hours today when she caught a signal from a sith skiff that was heading dangerously close to the DLA base. WIthout hesitation Nikki started her speeder and set off to persue the sith vehicle, with the intention of burning it to the ground.

While her speeder was no match for the skiff in speed, Nikki did no a short cut in order to try and head it off. After a few moments though she realised that at the speed the skiff was traveling even a cutoff was a long shot. During the entire ride she continued to check her screen looking for signs of other vehicles approaching, and found it odd that this would be the only one. CErtainly the sith had not underestimated them so much that they would only send one ship full of troops? If they did it would be a mistake they would not live to regret.

Not a moment later the skiff came to a stop right by the main bay entrance. Instantly Nikki saw this as a chance to strike and sped up. She was traveling well over 200 now and was thanking the force that Kabira had managed to fix the powercable on her bike prior to this. It took her only a minute to reach the bay, and in what seemed like a well rehearsed manuever Nikki stopped the bike and jumped off it with her shield raised out in front of her. Any moment now she was expecting a barage of blaster fire to pelt the large beskar plate. In her free hand she held the spear she had become so used to using, though it was not extended yet.

"Dont move... Ive got you surrounded now..." Had this threat come from anyone besides a mandalorian it would have been laughable, but given her kinds knack for using smaller numbers to overwhelm larger forces it was certainly something she was capable of doing. Moments later she could hear someone else addressing the crew of the skiff, a woman. For a moment Nikki held strong expectin this to be a trap of some sort, but curiosity soon got the better of her and she raised her shiled and looked over the pilot of the skiff.

Kiala smirked ever so slightly at Saerith, one of her only two 'friends'. "I was taking care of a few things Saer..please...calm down," she pats the air, "And as to disobeying orders...I did my job, and then some. I also doubt they will throw me out Saer, they need me"

Kiala stretched and then opened the front of her leather top and reached inside and pulled out a pac of cigaras and a lighter. Lighting one she offers the pack to Saerith while rezipping her blouse,"Sparrow is perfectly fine, she's sitting in a cave about fifty kilomaters from here"

Kiala takes a long drag from the cigara,"wich reminds me, I need to pay her a visit so I can get the rest of my gear". She leaned against the skiff and watched Saerith, "And I am sure I wont be in any trouble...I brought back supplies and a little gift for the Sampson boys..."

Kiala stopped and turned around quickly, her longest beskad came off her back as she heard a speeder coming her way. It was a mandalorian woman. Luckily Kiala recognized her, and took a neutral stance as the mando'ad left from the bike and made her claim about having her surounded. When Kiala finaly spoke it was to Nikki in perfect unbroken mando'a.

"Udesii, Mando'ad, Ni sha bi burc'ya, set ka siit verd"(Calm down, Child of Mandalore, I am a friend, not a sith soldier)

Kiala unzipped her leather blouse again, and turned to the side lifted the purple tank-top she wore beneath it, she showed Nikki her DLA tattoo on her right side. "See...not a sith soldier". Kiala shieths her beskad and meets the Mando'ads gaze. Her eyes are as calm as a forest pond.

Saerith turned focusing her moss green eyes on Kia, a single eyebrow raised. "what exactly did you take care of." a quick glance at the inner workings of her speeder told her it was finished for now. with what had long since become a habitual movement she rubbed the grease from her hands off unto to her pant's before standing.

"No thanks" Saerith answered glancing at the offered Cigara. "Well I'm glad to hear the Sparrows alright and if your heading out there at some point do you mind if I tag along and give her a look over?"

With that Saerith hit the ignition on the Grayback which fired up with a tremendous roar and begin slowly rising off the ground up to hip height. Killing the engine Saerith heaved a sigh "I thought this beast was never going to start up again after that last heating coil fell out of the brackets and melted everything.

Glancing back at Kia Saerith couldn't help but shake her head "If you were running this outfit how would you feel about insubordination? honestly Kia you couldn't let one person get away with it despite their reasons... then everyone would feel they should be able to ignore orders, and once punished they would feel slighted. You just couldn't hold it together that way." Saerith pushed her Lekku back over her shoulder and made to continue when a voice rang out from the entrance of the hangar.

Kia responded in fluent Mandalorian and proceeded to meet the gaze of the fierce Samuac who Saerith had never met but knew her name was Nikki. A quick glance between the two women and Saerith silently slipped around the side of her bike trying to get distance between herself and a possibly explosive situation.
