Biology and Behavior: Ligers never stop growing throughout their entire lifespan, no one has ever seen a fully aged Liger and so no one can know their true size. They rarely reach their full age of 20 because of the fighting within their prides. A pride is seen with an Alpha male and female, but when male cubs mature at the age of one it's common they will challenge the alpha for control over the pride. The younger male Ligers usually lose and are forced out of the pride to claim their own territory as long as they survive. A pride usually consists of the two Alpha's a few younger female Ligers and three to four cubs, the younger females usually watch after the cubs while the Alpha's go and hunt.
Liger's have a poison sack that sits just behind their hollowed claws, the claws are strong enough so they do not break in the heat of a battle or when taking down prey, but when their claws dig into flesh a paralytic poison is injected into their prey or enemy causing muscles and tendons to seize up, Liger's are immune to their own poison. Liger's are rarely tamed as they are very aggresive and normally will attack on sight especially if they are trespassing in their territory. They are however force-sensitive using this skill to hunt being able to sense their prey from long distances, if the force user is strong enough they can try and form a bond with the Liger through the force though more often then not the force user is killed by the primal hunter.
