Best Civilian Bio:
Glem A'Quae -- just quite frankly one of the most interesting bios I have read on here; plus, it makes me like Gungans again, haha.

Best Military Bio:
Orion Lorgan -- probably one of the more interesting military bios I have come across on the site, full of good details

Best Fringe Bio:
Ocelot -- great bio, can almost see the character coming alive just by reading about him

Best Jedi Bio:
Ginh Su-Nyf -- one of the better Jedi bios I have read, full of amazing details

Best Dark Jedi Bio:
Cor-Bah-San -- quite simply a very interesting read

Best Overall Bio:
Charlill Sylvorr/Shard -- well worth the time to take to read this bio, it's almost like a novel, and you really get to know the character before you ever see him in RP, which I think is one of the most important things a bio needs to do

Strongest Non-Force User Character:
Bane Haseful -- heck, I would be scared to meet this guy alone in an alley; just an all-around good fighting character, no matter what his weapon is

Strongest Force User Character:
Darth Iniquitous -- any dark Jedi that can proclaim himself Dark Lord of the Sith and not get any (strong) opposition to it, has to be pretty powerful; another guy I wouldn't want to meet alone in a dark street

Coolest Character:
Arkandos Phelan -- seriously, he's older than all the characters on here combined (almost), and he's basically a robot with a human brain, can't get much cooler than that. (Plus he reminds me of the cymeks from Dune, which is just awesome).

Wisest Character:
Jace Beleren -- he didn't get to be Jedi Grand Master just because he was standing around doing nothing

Funniest Character:
Rein Akai -- I know it's not nice to laugh at misfortune, but this little guy is just so cute, it's hilarious. Can't wait to see what he does next.

Most Unique Character:
Rn'cherii -- He's not unique just because of his species. No, Ren is just one of those characters that can't be pigeon-holed and is better for it. He can be wise, he can be cool, he can be funny, he can be a hero... he can do it all. Definitely a unique character, in more than one way.

Best Hero/Heroine-- male and female (list both):
Vex Praetor -- even though he would not admit it, this guy is a pretty damn good example of a hero, risking his life to save others when he doesn't have to
Rhissai'Arkan -- yes, she's a Jedi, so it might seem obvious, but she just seems to put herself out there, way out there, to avoid violence if she can, a true mark of a hero

Best Baddie-- male and female (list both):
Dark Iniquitous -- probably would be listed in the dictionary after 'bad.' On the outside, he seems rather calm, but when provoked, you better find a place to hide.
N/A -- I can't think of a female baddie, for the life of me.

Heart throb:
Bane Haseful -- he probably doesn't think of himself as sexy, but sexy comes in different forms. Any man who can use katanas like that would make any Mando woman blush and jump his bones. For glory and honor!

Hot mama:
N/A -- yeah, I'm a female, so, yeah, can't vote here

Best Duo (2 characters):
Jace Beleren and Vreem Took -- they don't spend much time alone together, but when they do, they get stuff done. If these two are coming your way, I would run. Fast.

Best Group (3-5 characters):
The Operation Reclamation crew [Malak Kra'Nelen, Bane Haseful, Italia Firians and Arkandos Phelan] -- I enjoyed reading about how they fought those silly Republic police officers, plus they just seemed to work well together, though it was the first time for some of them.


Best Civilian Character:
Lash Venedray -- I don't know why, but when I think of the typical civilian, Lash doesn't automatically come to mind; however, I do enjoy reading about this character and interacting with him. Though rough around the edges, probably one of the few guys others should aspire to be like.

Best Military Character:
Sgt. Damien J. Meesha -- He takes a lot of crap from people, gets into some impossible situations but still never gives up. One tough cookie. Without him, the Republic would be lost.

Best Fringer Character:
Pala'shak -- definitely one of the top ones I think of when thinking about fringer characters. Not wholly good, not wholly evil. She hangs out in the fringe of things, in the gray area, if you will. Has a heart, most definitely, and will fight for whatever she thinks is right, no matter if it involves going against the law or not.

Best Jedi Character:
Jace Beleren -- Even if he wasn't elected Grand Master of the Jedi, he would be one of the better Masters out there. Always knowing what's going on, always trying to find a way to fix it. And, best of all, he doesn't just sit around philosophizing; he gets up and does things himself, without waiting for others to do it for him. But even with all his action, he can still talk a pretty good talk. All in all, the best Jedi around.

Best Dark Jedi Character:
Gabriella Fisher -- She's just plain scary. And enjoys what she does almost too much. When I think of a Jedi gone bad, I think of this woman. She's not just dark, she's jet-black.

Best Overall Character:
Darth Iniquitous -- He's everywhere in the plot, without even moving. This guy has the power. Not only that, he has influence that spans the entire galaxy, without most of the rest of the beings even realizing it.

Best Storyline:
Bakura Invasion (from Bakura Agricorps Invasion - Bakura) -- an oldie but a goodie, this plot's still going strong after many months. This was one of the first plots I was aware of when I first came here, and its originality piqued my interest, and I have been following it every since. Just realized I'm in that storyline, haha... hmm...
Defection of Major Aunna Borgonia (from... many locations, many threads) -- same reasons as stated above ^. I may be a bit behind on the more recent posts now, but I have been keeping up with it. Very interesting and there are twists around almost every corner. Very original and intriguing.

Kellaishleya -- she's almost always the first one to welcome in new members, plus I've never seen a harsh word come from her, definitely a very friendly member

Maximus -- he's not been here long, but has established himself pretty well into the forum, and one of the funniest members on here

Most Creative Writer:
Squee -- I have to say, I really enjoy her posts, for the mere fact that she seems to have fun with them (most of the time) and really brings an element to her characters through her posts that most don't. Instead of just laying down the details, she finds the time for interesting side remarks that just make her posts soar above the others.

Most Realistic Writer:
Dire Wolf -- I haven't read many of his but the ones I have, they stand out to me, because you can visualize the scene he sets in his post. It's not simply just words to get his character moving; it's almost like a short film at times.

Best Overall Writer:
Jenno -- I think he embodies both creative elements and realistic elements in his posts almost flawlessly. Both help to make his posts come alive, a true mark of a great writer.

Best Civilian Bio: Glem A’Quae (Kellaishleya)
What’s this I spy? A gungan character? And moreover, one that doesn’t make me instantly despise the gungans all over again? That’s right folks, a gungan we can actually like, interesting and well written, as always. And on a personal note I’m looking forward to the future character interaction between my pilot and the soon-to-be navigator.

Best Military Bio: Balax Brason (Maximus)
This bio was something special, I don’t think I’ve really come across another like it in my time as a writer; I look forward to seeing him in action. Beware, it’s not for the faint hearted.

Best Fringe Bio:

Best Jedi Bio: Ginh Su-Nyf (KnightOfTheOrder)
I believe it was Jace who first mentioned this character bio to me and it was truly exceptionally written. It can be hard to properly develop a Jedi due to the constraints that are often put down on them but I thought KnightOfTheOrder did a great job here.

Best Dark Jedi Bio: Acalya Syclya (Apillis)
I think Jace might agree with me when I say this but basically, when we look over the profiles in the Dark Jedi section and see one with a long bio we tend to instantly sigh before proceeding. However, once I read through this character I did feel like it was a task, I was interested, intrigued and captivated by the content and the way it was written. So this gets my vote since it’s hard to keep me interested in something that long in one sitting.

Strongest Non-Force User Character: Mandalore/Solus’ad (Projectsunfire)
Now here’s a guy you don’t want to get on the wrong side of, Sith, Jedi, soldiers, Gen’Dai beware, this guy will take you all on and more than likely walk away the victor.

Strongest Force User Character: Eurachis (Necrofear)
No one else really sprung to mind when I though about this, I suppose it's a little 'hax' but the way he's written still makes the character come across as rather 'beefy' if you will. I know Iniquitous would have a hard time trying to fight him, which is why I find the practice duel thread between them interesting. But yes, Eurachis, soon to be Darth Eurachis, gets my vote.

Most Unique Character: Tesa Yarum (Squee)
I really don't know what it is but whenever I read posts with this character she always seems so different from all the rest. I'm still trying to place my finger on it but it just adds a uniqueness to the character, which is the reason why it gets my vote here.

Best Hero/Heroine-- male and female: Jace Beleran (Jace) and Rhissai'arckan (Dire Wolf)
The Grand Master and the badass High Council Member, right now they seem like good guys you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of.

Best Duo (2 characters): Cassandra Libertas (Celke/Eclipe) and Tesa Yarum (Squee)
As much as I would have loved to vote for Palas and Lash here and talk about them for far too long I cannot. So my vote goes out to two others, Cassandra and Tesa, an odd choice many of you might say but I find their 'friendship' unique and interesting, by rights they shouldn't really get on as they're quite different from on another and moreover they're Dark Jedi. Yet they prove that Dark Jedi aren't all about killing and attaining power and they show that there can be understanding and friendship between them. I look forward to the future threads between them.

Best Fringer Character: Palas Hak (Meira)
This fine specimen of awesome Fringing fun hasn't really been mentioned much and this vote may be biased because of my rping with the character, but I felt she deserved mentioning, if only for not gutting Lash. I love the relationship between Palas and Lash and I also love the way that the character is very much 'grey', she's no angel and she doesn't take crap from anyone even though she isn't the biggest or physically toughest around Lash knows full well from experience she has a frightful anger. And yet there's a kindness and understanding in her that will come though occasionally, what more could you ask for in an interesting Fringe character.

Best Jedi Character: Jace Beleran (Jace)
Now, my reason for this vote was not because he is 'teh most awesum' or some such thing. I simply thought of which character filled the 'Jedi' role best, and Jace was my answer. He was chosen as Grand Master for a reason, the way he embodies the light side of the Force. Now, he may not often want to do what he wants to do but this is because he understands the sacrifice required. This guy earned my vote.

Best Dark Jedi Character: Acalya Syclya (Apillis)
This lady hasn't seen any real action yet, but from the RPs so far I just get this eerily calm sense of hidden power and strength. Others might not get it, but that hit me when I was rping with her and it just kind of stood out.

Best Duel: Echo (Squee) vs November (Kellaishleya)
You’ve got two abstract characters both backed by fantastic writers. Whilst it’s not finished (and believe me I can’t wait to see how things end) I believe this duel is something people should be paying attention to. Not only did it start off great, it looks to be getting better and better with every round. I recommend people keep their eye on this.

Best Post IC: Renata (Meira) in Dark Asecnsion (Meira's first post)
I was stuck between this and a post by Prodigal in A Day Darker Than most which I remember inspiring me a while back, but I think this post just captures more of the character, not just of Renata now, but what struck her in the past and what possibilities await her now. It was a great read and I'm really looking forward to the thread because of it.

You all most likely know her by now, simply because she’s always around to welcome new members into the hectic confusion that can be SWU. I don’t think I’ve heard a bad word about her. Hmmm, perhaps she’s even too kind.

He may have only been around for a little while but I talk to him on MSN like I do with many of you and he always finds ways to crack me up.

Most Creative Writer: Meira
I’ve rped with Meira quite a lot so my view in this might be biased. However, I know that I easily get bored with dull and predictable threads. However, when I’ve been writing alongside Meira it has always been interesting, and I mean this in two ways, first of all there are her ideas for the directions of the threads and such; they always make me eager to write for them. And then there are those creative moments in the posts, her writing creates a vivid image in my mind that makes it so much easier to write along with and more importantly, it makes things interesting and fun.

Most Realistic Writer: Dire Wolf
I’d been a bit uncertain about this vote in the last set of awards, but my recent attempts at the Mon Cal battle showed me just how much detailed posts can really be. Dire provided the answers to a lot of my questions and having gone over his posts afterwards I was able to see just how much he is able to provide detail.

Best Overall Writer: Squee
This was a no brainer for me. Squee has consistency, detail and creativity all rolled into one. She writes each character and each scenario in a manner that is unique and interesting every time. Not to mention she always wants to (and always manages to) further herself, a quality which leads to some of the best posts on the site in my earnest opinion.

Best Overall Writer: Squee - She's got creativity, realism, and a wonderful writing style. She manages to communicate the essence of each character in a different way. I always look forward to reading her posts.

Best Civilian Bio: Jessica Chezz (Valadin). Gregory House with a bustline, what could be better?

Best Fringe Bio: Cirith An'gol (Cirith An'gol). Long, detailed, and just a little OP'd for his general standing; my kinda fellow.

Best Jedi Bio: Jace Beleran (Jace). Jace has a way with words, and his titular character has the best bio.

Best Dark Jedi Bio: Rembrandt Vorte (Kellashleya). Long, colorful, and an exciting read.


Strongest Non-Force User Character: Any of the MoD assassins could qualify here, though since I can only pick one I'll have to choose Delta, Wolf's fellow.

Strongest Force User Character: Rhissai'arkan (Dire Wolf). Powerful in the Force and in combat, and a dedicated Jedi to boot.

Wisest Character: Ozzril Ackbar (Maximus). Mon Calamari Jedi Master, teaches the younglings; wisdom is a prerequisite, and he's got it in spades.

Funniest Character: Xaoji (Xaoji). He's a Sand Person; 'nuff said.


Best Baddies: Iniquitous (Jenno) and Acayla Syclya (Apilis). A Sith Lord and a Dark Jedi Master, what could be worse?

Best Duo: Luxa Magna (starwarsgirl) and Velos Borgman (Eternal Skies). This Master/Padawan pairing play very well off each other, and I counted myself lucky to RP with them in These Colors Don't Run with my own Jedi, Tuljima Gunslinger.


Best Civilian Character: Jessica Chezz. We'll always need doctors.

Best Fringer Character: Lee Ru Bass (Ashi). A slave trader and a Gungan who doesn't suck, what more can you ask for?

Best Jedi Character: Vreem Took (Vreem Took). Dedicated to the good fight, and has got the skills to back it up.

Best Dark Jedi Character: Zabasaz Volgarius (Zabasaz Volgarius). Nicely balanced, with just the right mix of skills and self-doubt.

Best Overall Character: I can't really pick one out over the rest; they're all good.


Best Storyline: Jenno and the Merchants of Death plot. I've been excited for this since day one, and still can't wait for it to properly get off the ground.

Friendliest Member: Kellaishleya. Don't let her fool you; she's no lurker, she's helpful and outgoing and always ready with a kind word.

Funniest Member: Eclipse. He's had some good rants in the past, and he isn't afraid to put his neck out to make a point and get people to pay attention. And personally I think he's pretty funny at the same time.

Most Realistic Writer: Dire Wolf. All about the military, all about the finer points of technology and physics (or what passes for physics in the Galaxy Far Far Away). Bit of a no-brainer, really.

Best Civilian Bio: Rook Solosten (Prince Rook) - maybe I'm biased, but I loved the bio. *shrug* not entirely sure why. lol

Best Military Bio: Arkandos Phelan - it feels a little short, but considering the nature of the character it's well detailed without burdening it with cannon references or facts about his life, giving him room to grow and make things interesting along the way.

Best Fringe Bio: Delta - made me lol constantly. It was getting a little monotonous reading similar bios, and dire really pulled off giving this one a fresh twist in a combination of humor and detail that pulled me in and made me want to read it.

Best Jedi Bio: Rhissai’arkan - kick ass...need i say more?

Best Dark Jedi Bio: Vex Praetor - again, maybe i'm biased, but the amount of detail he went through to think this guy up still astounds me. It was effortlessly woven with story telling and fact that made the situations believable, not to mention the fact that he's thought out (in detail) how the cybernetics Vex uses work. Add to that an RP sample that shows both his 'diplomacy' as well as his fighting ability and you've got a one way ticket to WIN.

Best Overall Bio: Mandalore (Solus’ad Atiniir) - I only read Sol's bio because of my current involvement with him in RP...but that swiftly changed to one of interest in the app itself. The way it was written drew me in and made me feel like I wanted to learn more about the character, and made me care for him more. The details were imaginative and descriptive enough to give me a good feel of what Solus'ad was thinking and feeling as well as what he saw and did. I can't wait to read updates on the character as he goes along.

Strongest Non-Force User Character: Mandalore - really, no one stands a chance against this guy. From the caring side that he hides from most others to the fierce fighter he can be even at his age, he has the knowledge and the wisdom that comes with age as well as the courage, fortitude, and cleverness that it takes to bring any opponent down. Not to mention he's a leader that damn near anyone would follow. The man's an unstoppable force.

Strongest Force User Character: Iniquitous - blind force users are BAMF either way, but this guy just takes the cake. From the few posts of his I've read I know for sure I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him and not just because he has an evil aura about him. No way, this guy's clever...put that into a force user determined to build an order that can dominate the galaxy if done right...yeah...Strong in the force and strong in mind...deadly combination.

Coolest Character: Staff Sgt. Cersa Ratarre’ta - not only is she a cat, but she's got a sense of humor...especially concerning bird droids and military food.

Wisest Character: Dark Lord Iniquitous (odd as that may seem) please see above. ^

Funniest Character: Sean Mu’haro - he was funny with Ayer, but without he's twice as humorous. Stick him on a ship with a big cat and a chiss and you're set on laughs.

Most Unique Character: Axle Finne - it's the wings. Okay, well, more than the wings...it's also the way he reacts to others and the way he sees things. Everything about him makes him interesting.

Best Good Guy-- male and female (list both): Jace Beleren and (?)

Best Bad Guy-- male and female (list both): Eurachis (it’s complicated as to why him over Iniquitous since they’re tied in my book) and Tesa Yarum

Heart throb: Daryn Destrell - hot stuff when you give him a reason to romance. He's not at all shy about letting others know he's interested, and the cocky smuggler/merc guise works for him. What makes him even more interesting to the female kind is when you realize there's more than one layer to him.

Hot mama: Melody Prance - the girl all the guys want. Fun, flirty, and feisty.

Best Duo (2 characters): Itani and Trin - they may be a new item, but they're adorable about it even for Mandos...and much to Bane's dismay. Still in the "no...i dont like you that way...well, maybe i do" stages, it's obvious there's chemistry as they give their nonchalant looks and casual "just watching out for a team member" excuses.

Best Group (3-5 characters): Original Mando Spec Ops (Malak, Bane, Trin, Ambria) - operation Reclamation ftw. The best time i've had with a group and these four work flawlessly.

Best Civilian Character: Rook Solosten - A prince with a past. He may be a bit confused, and he may not be the best at everything, but that's what makes him awesome.

Best Military Character: Bane - grouchy and by the books, he's what you'd expect from any cranky superior. He cares more than he lets on, but that doesn't mean he'll let you get away with anything.

Best Fringe Character: Axle Finne - He's been running from would be captors for years and it's made him jumpy...despite this, he's learning to make friends and survive in the galaxy.

Best Jedi Character: Makiro Variyas - padawans really don’t get enough credit and he’s great as one

Best Dark Jedi Character: Vex Praetor - I could say Aunna made me do it (well she did), but that wouldn't be the only reason. Despite his "graying" personality, Vex is someone who could really give a crap less about anyone or anything other than his own agendas (whatever those are at the moment), and like all good bad guys, he's not opposed to killing whoever gets in his way. This, of course, is being tempered slightly by a woman, but even with her around he's one of the best and most dynamic dark jedi I've seen in a long time.

Best Overall Character: Solus’ad Atiniir (Mandalore) - he's not entirely good, and not entirely bad. Striking a neutral view of things you never know where this character might go in terms of what he thinks is best for those he leads and cares about. He's multifaceted to a degree that just boggles the mind and that above all else makes him the best character I've seen in ages.

Best Battle: Ramseye vs Vex in “Sneak and Destroy” - if you've not read this fight...DOO EET!...as if it wasn't epic enough to see two dark jedi battle it out, try one with republic and sith forces in the same area and all because they're trying to save the same person. It's a clusterf**k of epic proportions that almost ends in death....several times!
