DISCOVERED
Born on Corvala in Shili, Altra Rosa never knew her actual parents. It seems that at birth she was left on the roadside, where a tightly knit community would find and raise her together. But as a young child Altra never felt true affection or love.
Now Togruta, being a long time Republic planet, was constantly visited by the Jedi. Hence, many Togrutas joined the Order, as many were discovered. A Jedi Master, Orak Newenna, happened to be in the city on Altra’s seventh birthday and immediately felt the force within her. He was able to test her for midi-chlorian, which was present in great quantity. With little argument from the town, Orak was able to take young Altra back to Coruscant.
However, there was one person who disagreed with the action. A town elder, Maiy Ola, had grown attached to the girl, and was upset to see her go. Before she was taken, Maiy gave Altra a small bag, which the content of was unknown at the time. Tears in her eyes, Maiy watched young Altra leave.
Altra had the tiniest idea of what was going on, but did feel some form of pain. She looked to Orak for condolence. Orak provided the love the girl needed, and created an indestructible bond with the girl.
The Jedi High Council was upset with the discovery. Each member felt the bond between Orak and Altra, and knew he would kill for the girl’s protection. The Council also believed the girl was too old to begin youngling training. In response they sent Altra to train to become a member of the Temple’s Vanguard. Orak was appalled that they did not realize her true ability and threw a fit. The Council let it pass, but everyone had doubts that Orak remained sane.
TRAINING
And so, Altra was trained to become a Vanguard. The training was extremely easy for her, and limited the use of the Force within her. However, she did pick up extra skills with a blaster, and grew to like the ranged weapon.
After three years of training, Altra was only ten, but was almost complete with her Vanguard training. Orak, however, was still not satisfied with the rank Altra was given, and secretly began training her in his separate quarters. Orak was extremely careful with this, and only allowed Altra to approach him when no one was around. Because she already knew a little about the Force, training went fast, and before long Altra had learned and mastered basic moves such as Force Jump, Sprint, Push and Pull. But still Orak was not satisfied with the minimal training and sought out to teach Altra the way of the lightsaber.
And so, one night when Altra snuck into Orak’s quarters she was introduced to the weapon and given a basic saber. She treasured the instrument and was taught basic Shii-Cho. For a month this went on, but it wouldn’t last long.
The Director of the Archives had noticed that Altra had seemed to disappear at certain points of the day. The Director grew even more suspicious when the Vanguard began to take an interest in various archives that involved saber training. The Director informed the Council, who immediately suspected Orak behind the mischief and acted upon the suspicion.
A squadron busted into Orak’s quarters, and it just so happened he was in the middle of one of Altra’s lessons. Orak was immediately arrested and exiled from the Order, but uhe didn’t leave quietly and demanded that Altra’s skills be tested.
Now the Council did not normally act in this way, but it seems they felt that Orak deserved closure before his exile. Altra was set to the test and was to duel a fully-trained Jedi Youngling.
A human, Youngling Vex Codar, was brought to the chamber and the duel was set. Both participants used a basic Youngling Lightsaber, and the duel began with an array of strikes. After 53 strikes no one gained an advantage, but the Council began to see that Altra possessed the skills needed for a Jedi Padawan. Seeing that her lightsaber was getting her nowhere, Altra retreated to the opposite end of the chamber, where she sent an average force push at her opponent. Unsuspecting of the move, Vex met the impact and bounced back. His head hit the wall and he was knocked unconscious.
At this, the impressed Council agreed to make the girl a Padawan, but sought to it that the training occurred immediately, as her powers could grow out of control.
Meanwhile, Orak was dragged from the temple and thrown on a ship set for a poor city in Tantooine. He was relieved that Altra was finally being noticed, but he sought major revenge for the destruction of his life.
PADAWAN TRAINING
Altra’s training began immediately at the age of 13 and a half. Her master was none other the Cerean Jedi, Master Jo-Ri-Chika of the Jedi High Council. At the age of 50, Master Chika was an accomplished Jedi Guardian, whom was known for defeating a major terrorist base on Tantooine. However, Altra was unsure she would enjoy her master, as he was one of the Jedi that had arrested Orak. However, Altra was oblivious to the fact that Master Chika was not looking to train a Jedi, but simply seeking more popularity amongst the Jedi community. Chika thought what better way to prove his skills then training a scum to become a Jedi.
Master Chika first targeted Altra’s skills with a lightsaber, as he was unsure she truly possessed enough skill in the area. But Altra proved him wrong, as she listened to instructions carefully, and accepted tips. Before long she held her own in duels against Master Chika himself. Although she was never actually able to beat him in a spar, her skills shined bright, and she had great potential in the area.
Master Chika spent 5 years training Altra with a saber, and she eventually grew bored and began to doubt Master Chika’s teachings. It eventually grew to an extent where Altra refused to come to Master Chika’s lessons. Chika saw his popularity slipping. If he couldn’t train this Padawan he would be ridiculed and embarrassed. He knew the only way he would escape that fate is if Altra was “accidentally” killed on a mission.
Chika spent the night devising a plan that would leave Altra dead. Hearing that the Queen of Naboo had business to do on Tantooine, and was seeking a Jedi as a bodyguard, Master Chika offered his and his Padawan’s services. He would see to it that Altra was left alone with Queen during an assassination attempt. He believed Altra’s stupidity would leave the Queen dead and Altra at fault. Looking at this, the Council would realize that the girl should never had been trained and she would be sent back to Shili.
Happy with himself, Chika and Altra set off to Tantooine where they met up with the Queen. She explained that she wanted to get in and out of the planet as fast as possible, as her enemies were strong in numbers there. She would need an escort to a meeting and then an escort back to the ship. Chika insisted he understood, but said this to the Queen, “It seems as though it would be safer if my Padawan would escort you while I cover your rear in case of an attack.” The Queen seemed unconvinced of this strategy, but believed in Master Chika, and so she agreed to this idea.
Altra and the Queen set off while Chika observed from a distance, waiting for an attack. The opportunity he was waiting for arose as two men with blasters arose and ambushed the Padawan, stunning her. The Queen was taken and Altra was left behind. Chika grinned from a distance, but he was celebrating too early. Altra was able to use the force to grab one of the men’s blasters. Her Vanguard training paid off as she had perfect accuracy and was able to hit each man on the first attempt. A terrified Queen brushed herself off and made the rest of the way unharmed.
Upset, Chika knew he could not depend on an average assassination attempt. During the meeting he told Altra he had “business” to take care of and set off into town. He entered a Cantina where he saw a figure he knew. Grapa Naton, a Muun, was a wanted terrorist by the Republic. Chika approached him, and when Grapa saw him he turned pale. But Chika explained to him he was not in need of his arrest, but wanted to know if he knew any powerful mercenaries. “Hmm, there is one man. He is very mysterious, and has a temper, but he will do anything for money. They say he was once a Jedi, but its just a rumor.”
“Perfect! Altra will not stand up to an enemy trained in the Force! Grapa, find him and promise him money if he can kill the Queen. She will be traveling to the West End of town today.”
“What do I get for this job?” replied Grapa.
“If you do, your criminal records will disappear.” promised Chika. With that Chika returned to Altra just as the Queen was leaving. He insisted on the same plan the trio had before, and the Queen agreed. However, he grew worried when the Queen’s ship came to his sight and no attack had been made. “Perhaps I can frame Altra for murdering the Queen…” he thought as he approached the two people in front of him.
“What is it Master?” said the Queen as Chika snatched Altra’s saber and slashed the Queen’s torso. The Queen fell with a shriek, dead. Altra immediately grabbed Chika’s saber and slashed at him. She held her own in a fight, but knew it would only last so long, as Chika was a Master. As she was about to be struck down, a mysterious figure jump into the battle. Wielding a red lightsaber, he blocked the moves of Chika. Meanwhile, Altra regained her energy and sprinted behind the distracted Master, stabbing a whole in his back. He too fell with a shriek, dead.
Orak and Altra hugged and met with each other. Altra knew she could not return to the Order, but strangely did not feel upset. Orak talked about his adventures in exile. “There was an extreme battle between two rivaling terrorist groups. On the edge of defeat, one group turned to their secret weapon, a Dark Jedi. Knowing he alone could not defeat the other terrorists; he recruited me and taught me everything. The Dark Side opens all new powers, and now I am invincible with abilities like force lightning and choke.”
“But what happened?” asked Altra.
“Oh you mean the battle? Of course our faction won, and the Dark Jedi became power crazed. I knew I had to end his tyranny so I slit his throat in his sleep.”
Strangely, Altra was attracted to Orak, when most would be afraid. The two grew affectionate of each other, and their bond was renewed. Orak knew that the Order would come to see what happened to Chika, and wanted Altra to be able to protect herself. He began to teach her the powers of force lightning and choke. Although she did not master the powers, she had the ability to use them, and they dealt great damage.
As Orak had predicted, the Jedi Order sent 2 knights to see what had happened at the mission. They were met by Orak and Altra. At this time Altra was 23 year old, and practically at the level of a Jedi Knight, but her Dark Side abilities increased her battle skills. Orak and Atlra released non-stop attacks until the two Jedi lay motionless on the ground.
The two Dark Jedi lived peacefully together for two years. However, it was short lived as Orak wanted revenge on the Jedi Order. He talked to Altra about meeting with other Dark Jedi and joining together to destroy the Jedi. Altra was upset with the idea and expressed her, but was hit to the floor by Orak who claimed he was the more powerful one. Heartbroken, Altra lay on the floor, ready to feed on her anger. That night as Orak went to the Cantina, came home and fell into a deep sleep. Altra took his saber from his belt, and pierced it through his heart. “You destroyed mine, now I will to the same to you!” she screamed.
That night she returned to the ship that she and Chika had came to the planet with. It was well-hidden, so it remained not looted. She boarded the ship and headed to Carvala where she hoped to start a new life.
Her memories of Shili were vague, but she knew the location of the city, as well as some members that had shown her great kindness. However, she was sad to see many were surprised and not expecting to see her. She still had the pouch that Maiy Ola had given her all those years ago. She could not remember her name, but new her face and caring heart. The pouch contained a hologram photo of the old Togruta holding an infant Altra. Altra approached a familiar building, a great structure in which she often found the kind woman. But, she entered to find no familiar faces. Everything had changed. She walked up to an elderly man and showed him the photo, asking him if he had heard anything of the old woman. “Why that is Maiy Ola! She has been dead for years, and it’s a good thing too. After a young girl was taken by a Jedi she went crazy and practically destroyed the town. After a while the town rebelled and she was arrested and executed.”
Altra went silent and grew angry. She slaughtered the man. She enjoyed the shriek he let out as he died. Many saw the action and rallied up to attempt to stop Altra, but they stood no chance. Altra killed everyone in the building. Then she went to the streets and killed everyone in sight. A few lucky ones remained hidden in their homes, but the city was damaged beyond repair. Enraged, Altra needed to hear more shrieks, so she left for Coruscant.
But on the flight her sense got to her. She stood no chance alone in the temple. However, her anger brewed strong. She landed in a city far from the temple and approached a country side house. The small house was home to a tightly-knit family. Altra raised her saber and killed everyone in the house, happy to hear them shriek as they were pierced with her saber.
Altra attacked the family at 27. Four years passed and she uses the house as shelter. While fitting in as an average citizen, she commits numerous murders and feeds on the shrieks of the dead. Her skills may not be the best, but her anger fuels aggressive battle skills. Of course she would confront any lone Jedi that would challenge her, and her main goal is to one day, somehow, end the Jedi Order.
With this goal in mind, Altra was drawn to the planet of Korriban. She had little idea why the Force called her there, but soon found a meeting of Dark Jedi. She pledged her powers to the leader of the meeting, and set off for an assigned mission.
This mission was to hunt down and assasinate a being known as the Faceless One, along with four other Dark Jedi.

THE LONE JEDI-
The morning shown bright as the birds chirped. The sense of spring had roused up joy in the various towns folk. It made Altra Rosa sick. How could people be so happy when the galaxy was in so much pain thanks to the Jedi Order?
Altra lethargically left the home that she had stolen exactly one year ago, and sloped to town. She couldn’t believe what she saw when she got there. A figure, around the age of 40, dressed in brown robes. She had seen the style of clothing before and it only meant one thing: Jedi scum. Altra had to control her anger just to stop her from viciously attacking the Jedi in public. If she wasn’t carful, she could end up dead.
She remained hidden, so she remained un-detected by the Jedi. She followed from a safe distance a picked up bits on his conversations. From what she had heard the order was investigating a series of murders in the area, murders the Altra had committed. Luckily for Altra, the Order was not suspecting any Dark Jedi to be involved, so she knew her alter ego hadn’t been discovered.
The day left no leads for the Jedi, and left Altra confident that she would remain unknown by the Order, but that wasn’t enough. She needed to be one-hundred percent sure she was safe for the time being. She followed the Jedi through town until the evening when he stopped at a local Inn. She waited until he was out of sight, and then she rented a room for the night.
In her silk, black robe, she searched the place from top to bottom in search for the Jedi. From what she knew he had rented a small room just next to that of her own. She would wait until night fall to strike.
Several hours later she exited her room, and snuck into the room of the Jedi’s. A figure lay asleep in the bed and Altra raised her red lightsaber to strike. She slashed her way through the figure, to find they were an arrangement of pillows. How could she have been so stupid? She should have suspected this trick from a Jedi.
The Jedi sprinted behind her, giving Altra little time to hit away the saber. Slash after slash, no one had gotten the upper hand, but Altra remained strong as the Jedi grew tired. Seeing that he could not win be mere force, the Jedi backed away, lowering his saber.
“You are foolish to lower you saber.” said Altra.
“Perhaps so, but you are foolish to hold-off your attack!” and with that, the Jedi unleashed a force push on Altra, causing her to fall back. The Jedi jumped on the opportunity and the duel reignited. Again, no one scored the upper hand, but it was Altra that this time backed away, in an attempt to score victory with a blast of force lightning. She had used it before, but it seems could only unleash force sparks, as the skill was not yet mastered. This allowed the Jedi to pull her toward his lightsaber, to unleash a furious attack.
“Wait!” screamed Altra. Seeing she was defeated she threw her saber aside. “I am defenseless. Arrest me, and spare my life.” she said, knowing the Jedi must condole with these terms. The suspicious Jedi took her lightsaber and placed it on his belt and hen bounded Altra’s hands together. Now seeing she could not attack, the Jedi grew confident.
“Foolish Jedi!” screamed Altra as she raised he foot and kicked the Jedi in the gut. The poor Jedi bent in pain as Altra unleashed another fierce kick to the open face of the Jedi. The Jedi attempted to raise his lightsaber, but that was kicked away by Altra. Altra loosened her hands and then picked the Jedi up. “I may not be able to use the force to strangle you, but I can use my own power!” she exclaimed as she choked the Jedi to an unconscious state. She finally finished the poor Jedi off with her lightsaber, cutting off his head.
“The first of many to go!”
