This is just a simple thread where we can all make our follow forum friends feel good about themselves. Whether you want to thank someone for helping you with an application, a post or anything else on the forum you can. In fact, you can even give out some mad props to some of the awesome posters out there.
So let me start off with saying a thank you to Otterling for suggesting this idea to me. And I wasn't the only one who liked the idea behind this.

^___^ YAY!!! I am so glad this idea went through. Ok, I wanted to thank a few people in a public way without having to wait till the end of the month and so, allow me to start with Jenno. Not only did he take this idea into consideration but he has been a constant source of help for me. I have bugged him ceaselessly with PMs asking question after question and he's always been ready with answers and helpful advice. Thank you, Jenno. You really do help make this site what it is. ^__^ I also want to thank Dutch. The last four months have been very hard for me and with no access to the cbox, I've often felt like the odd man out since I can't just talk to all of you. Dutch has been a constant friend and we have PMed each other constantly in whole conversations. He has made every effort to make me feel included not only as a member of the site but also as a member of a group of friends. I'm really touched by how much he's been there to help me. Thank you, Dutch. *hugs* And finally, allow me to send a MASSIVE thank you out to WWFF. This guy showed up out of nowhere and has blown me right out of the water. I have had the honor of doing a duel thread with him on Rhen Var and he has proven not only an amazing writer but someone who isn't afraid to take a hit to make a better story. His Jedi Gabriel has quickly become one of my favorite characters, right up there with Levin and Locke, and I can't talk enough about him. WWFF worked with me over PMs to make the thread Cold Shoulder turn out as well as it has and I'm terribly proud of it. He made as much effort in every post to make Di'Shan look bad @$$ as he did making Gabe look good. I walk away from HIS posts afraid of my own character. XD WWFF has, in my opinion, gone above and beyond with his willingness to let me beat Gabe up a bit and he has been wonderful about brainstorming up enough ideas that we hope will continue to entertain you guys for quite some time yet. The rivalry between Gabe and Di'Shan is something I truly look forward to for some time to come. ^__^ If you get an opportunity to RP with this guy, TAKE IT. You will NOT be disappointed. So thank you, WWFF, for being such a great sport and for making one seriously memorable thread with me.

I would laike to thank Otter and WWFF for making that epic duel because its just smex. I have also had the privilege of going over all of WWFF's applications(I think) and to finally see them in action..specially Gabriel is epic. I don't always have time to post but reading a really good thread can do wonders for inspiration.\
OH and I would like to thank Jennos for being so godamn sexy

I also want to add my voice to those thanking Otter and WWFF for that amazing duel of epic that they've put together. It is honestly one of the best threads I've followed in my time here, and to see these two great writers going at it has been a pure joy.
On a more personal note, I'd like to thank Arheim. For one, he came up with the space wizards, which as some of you may know, has set my bio-writing muse on absolute fire lately. More than that, as I've worked on my wizard's bio, he's been there nearly every step of the way to provide feedback on what I've done or on possible ideas I've had for my character, and he's given out some ideas of his own that I think have added some really nice touches to Kvothe's story. As a result, I think I've been able to put together something to that will be good, and if not, I'm proud of Kvothe, at least. So thanks, Arh.

Well, to join in with my own input about the duel and top put in my own thanks. I'd like to thank Otter, for agreeing to duel with me. I was getting rather discouraged before she did as there were no real takers due to previously planned events. Otter threw Di'Shan in and asked if I was still looking, and luckily I was! She's been an absolute blast to work with, and has such a great personality it was easy to bounce ideas off of the wonderfully creative head she has on his shoulders. Not to mention the wonderfully sadistic character I had the privilege of pitting my Jedi against; such a complex character. And all the while she let me kick his rear a little, and it was easy to let him rough Gabe up. I absolutely loved how easy it was to work off of Otter's posts and I look forward to the LONG future Di'Shan and (spoiler!) Jaeden have with Gabe... meaning more from Otter and I! YAY!
I'd like to throw another thanks Dutchy's way, because he was willing to let Gabriel get in the way of that massive boss battle in the bowels of the temple if I couldn't find anyone to duel. Dutchy, you're a great guy!
A couple more!
Rugs! You sir, have given nothing but raving reviews to otter and I and I've heard that you've been spreading the word about our little duel. I've never had anyone follow any posts from me before, and I really appreciate all of the support. Just as I'm sure my partner does (Otter). Heaven knows I love reading your posts with that smartarse character, Locke! Haha! look forward to more!
Jenno. You have accepted two of my characters, and to find that you actually enjoy the read brings joy to my heart. I've been on a Zelda based forum for several years... Geeze... it's been nearly six or so, maybe more there; and never once have I had such positive feed back about any app of mine. I honestly appreciate your support and any input on future characters is more than welcomed! Hopefully I'll be able to have Gabe meet with the GM soon about a padawan... not too soon though... (more spoilers back there)
To Kell, Talau, Jace, Jenno, Arh, Mara, Miera, and all the other admins and Mods and helpful people I may have not mentioned by name, all of whom make this forum tick: As i said, I have been on another forum for years, tried a couple others including a couple SW based forums, and none of them have such a smooth running system. Everyone does their jobs to a 'T', and I feel like I need to thank you all for renewing my interest in RP, because I was ready to throw in my writing towel. The efficiency which this forum runs on makes me want to keep going, keep writing, and just really impresses me. Keep up the good work and please don't change!
To who ever it was who nominated two of my characters, thank you so much! It is a huge compliment to know than enough of you (even if it's just one of you) like my characters enough to nominate them for anything, with all of the wonderful apps out there... just wow... thank you so much. Regardless of the out come... they were there, and that mean so much to me! Thanks!

I want to give a big shout-out to everyone who's joined the Dominion and stuck with it. Deceit, Rugs, Hotel, Casual... all you guys. We're gonna make this happen, bet your fur.
Also a shout-out to Jenno and Delta and Talau, and the others who've organized the Merchants of Death.

Let's see...I want to thank my agent, my multiple benefactors, and all those wonderful people that have allowed me to make it into the pageant top 10- huh?...what?...oh....OHHH...heheh....wrong thread.
On a serious note, I want to thank Rugs for being obsessive and ALWAYS being online when I need something, Jace for his dedication on making me suffer (*sniff* I know cares deep down inside), Dire for being respectful and respectable, Talau for her undying support and consolation, otterling for the muse-inspiring drawings and love of otters, Jenno for turning me limey and persevering in the face of a forum in turmoil, Meira for being patient with me when I made my first character and being the only moderator I have never been able to say anything negative aboutEclipse for unwittingly sparking Familiar by making me create Sean, Dutch for his even, efficient mannerism, Mara for always greeting me personally when I come into the box, Val for providing support from an unlikely source and making me watch House, Squee for tolerating my laziness and general incompetence, Arruna for making me get back into RPing, Deceit for breaking those awkward silences in the box, Kiala for amusing me with an eyebrow raised, Kella for being green, Zarkan for establishing my image on the forum, and the other 3-4 people who have helped me in some way shape or form in the past.
*deep breath*
I could go on, but the bell is going to ring-Now.
Thank you SWURP!
EDIT: Oh yes! Almost forgot something really important. Thank you to all those people who just smiled and nodded instead of telling me to STFU when I rant at them on Meebo.
And all those anyanomonomuses +1 karmas (I refuse to believe they don't count! > v <)
Notredamus.
All my non-SWURP friends who tolerate my obsession and even contribute once and a while. Notably, Xinder who has always allied with me in my most ridiculous of schemes, Raloxmly who's motivation sometimes rubs off on me, tanoahmoji who at least posts in Picture Post RP, and most certainly Miss annoying my beloved illustrator.
Google for first finding this site.
My grandparents for having dial-up so an RP forum was the only thing left I could think of to entertain me.
My Aunt, father, and the good people of the Radiant server for my love of Star Wars.
All of you who have believed that my hairbrained schemes were any more than that (ie. Space Wizards, Project Familiar, Pet Apps).
And last, but certainly not least, Mary Buckingham who's half a bar Wifi I have to steal while visiting my grandparents (since they no longer have dial-up) to get that whiff of connection to submit the post I had been writing all night. Also for allowing me to snow out of her driveway for money I could contribute to this netbook which has increased my post efficiency by 17%!
You all have my appreciation, may the Force be with you.

I'd like to thank Squee and shamelessly glomp her for having made her character Sali and agreeing to this increasingly awkward/funny/adorable/sometimes angry relationship between Sali and my character Rook.
It seemed that right after making him, I'd lost where he was going to end up in RP, but thanks to you (and Talau too for allowing Aunna to be part of his past) Rook is on a path I'd never even thought of. He's a much more interesting character than he started out to be, and I can't in any way take the credit for that. It was thanks to you two.
On the same note, I'd like to thank those who've joined in on the Jewel Crew plot (Mara, Falcon, Jenno, Otterling, Rugs, and Dutch). I know we can be slow to post at times, and often our plans keep changing, but your flexibility and determination to stick with it has made Palas and the Jewel a major part of why I love this site so much. Jenno, I'd like to thank you in particular for being my co-captain and helping me keep the Jewel plot on track... as best as we can.
Delta, for all the back and forth ideas we throw around... and for the kick @$$ duo that is Sera and Dal. Thanks for being a wall I can bounce ideas off of.
Dutch, you too. You've been a great brainstorm partner. You inspired Mo and every other DLA character that was made in that short amount of time after you came up with the idea. Also: can we bring Rah back please? I'd kill for another flesh pocket reference!
I want to give some mad props to our Mods and NGTs. You guys are the driving force behind the site. And it's all done out of the love of your hearts. To go through apps day after day... and not even get paid for it, well, I know you get appreciation every now and then, but it's often not enough. This site is great because you choose to donate your time. *hugs them all*
Kella, you in particular. You stepped in when I was offered the admin position and I couldn't be prouder. I got pretty attached to the Jedi section... Wasn't too keen on other people modding in it. But I'm glad to know it's in such capable hands.

You're forgetting Keilara, Vex, Squee, and Jace, Karl. I know you said "others" but it means more to be named. ; ) They did just as much, though perhaps a bit more indirectly. At least the later three.
H'okay.... this isn't in order. Just off of the top of my head, lol.
Dutch: Just... holy crap. In the few months that I've known you I've grown to consider you a friend, and hell, you've been there as a sounding board despite my occasional whineyness. I've been working on that. ; D But thanks, broski, and I don't use that term lightly. You're a blast to talk to, joke with, RP with, and omg... to play xbox live with. You're so majestic, and imsojelly.
Meira: ^.^ Thanks for the shout out. You've been a blast to talk to, what with our "who puggles who first" contest (I shall be the victor tomorrow!!!! *shakes fist at comically*), just talking, and the ossim plottage we've come up with between the epic duo of Sera and Dal. >.< And the Ryn, Vesta, Sam, and Sev group.
Squee: For putting up with me during the rough patch I had a few months back, and the myriads of talks we've had on religion and otherwise. You've helped me. ^_^
Otter: OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG That council drawing. OMG. I might just give you another +1 Karma for drawing that up. Again. That and the Delta / Echo picture, and the 'gift art' idea. I also want to thank you with your help with this recruiter business. I'd likely have been (>_> can't use the metaphor here. Too many kiddies. x.x) screwed over if you had been the type to ignore my ignorant questions. Thank you.
Jackal: For the Ryn and Grawn combo. In the words of Jace: THE EPIC RIVALRY.
Jace: I'm yo' huckleberry.
Talau: For putting up with me and still being a friend for a good and solid year now. That, and the crazy amounts of plottage that we've come up with over this year. Feel kinda bad that all I can come up with is a few lines, considering the fact that others got a full paragraph... but in my mind you deserve moar.
Hrm... there are more... I'll probably post up here again.

I want to give a big shout-out to everyone who's joined the Dominion and stuck with it. Deceit, Rugs, Hotel, Casual... all you guys. We're gonna make this happen, bet your fur. Karl: Anyway, I would like to give major thanks to Karl for letting me join on the Dominion as Shard's apprentice. It gave me something to do with Looma to help me figure out exactly what I wanted to do with her. After the Bakura plot, I had been a little lost as to what would happen next. I still have no idea what I've gotten myself into with all that, but I'm willing to flow with it. I think Looma and Shard will make a perfect team, I can just feel it. Mara for always greeting me personally when I come into the box You're welcome. And I would like to thank you, Arh, for always greeting me back. You don't know how much it means when I pop into the C'box and someone actually says hi back. And, not only that, stays on to talk to me instead of disappearing. Much huggles for you. Also, major props for your Project Familiar idea and getting me to want one of your AERs for a character of mine. My formerly boring senator character is turning into probably one of my favorites because of our PMs back and forth, brainstorming the possibilities that AER-05 will have with Ina (and PF with her father) once she is partnered with him. And also thanks for giving Ina a chance for an AER, even though she's not military. And, you Meira, I'd like to give lots of thanks to, for letting me, as a new member here at the time, sneak into your plot with Trevil though you had already started a thread or two. It means a lot when established members with a fairly established plot let someone new (and unknown at the time) join in with their group of characters. This plot is giving my little Bothan slicer/bank robber a lot more depth than I could have even thought possible. Now that that's taken care of... I don't have the time right now to list you all by name, but--believe me, I do appreciate you--I'd just like to throw out a thanks to anyone on here who has ever given me the time of day. It means a lot to me when joining in on a new site like this, knowing no one, that a lot of you got to know me and I can safely call you friends. I know I was a bit of a ***** when I first arrived (before I joined) in the C'box, asking all kinds of questions and whining about the long apps and all the other complicated things. Just because I hadn't ever been in an RP this well-down before. Or an RP that was a full-forum, since my prior experience had all been with single-thread RPing. But everyone in the C'box when I arrived was still friendly to me, and I thank all those guys for it. Some are no longer here, but many of you still are. Also thanks to anyone and everyone on here who was willing to engage in a plot/thread with me. I've had loads of fun with all of your characters, and I hope to have much more in the coming months and years. My characters are developing so much further than I ever thought they would. Much more than any of mine on other RP sites have ever gotten. (Perhaps 2-sentence posts really aren't that conducive to character development). There's a lot more I need to say, but I'll just leave you all with this: I love y'all. Stay awesome. ;D

Okay.... wow, where to start.
I'll start with Jenno, who I believe was the first person to greet me on the sight. It was either him, or JK (when he was active) and they made some good impressions by me, which influenced me to join the third Star Wars roleplay in a year. Also, Jenno accepted my first character, Tesa, and Meira was the one to give the review. Thankies, guys.
Even if he's not around like he was, JK was also the one who proposed to me to join the NGT, which was two months after I joined. Needless to say, I was surprised. Thanks to him, for he uplifted my spirits during that time. I was having some family issues and some friend issues where it seemed that I couldn't do anything correct by anyone and my confidence in myself was on a sliding ramp tilted down.
Delta has been a truly amazing friend to me. That man knows about a lot of the situations that I face in my own home and he's helped me understand my family more than I have before. He's also engaged in writing with me countless times and it's helped me improve in such a field. His Merchant of Death charrie, also called zeh Delta, has become the verbal/emotional punching bag of my character that was recently elected hottie of the site, Echo. I do adore her, and Delta's presence has helped, and still helping, with the development of Echo. Thank you. =3
Meira, for suggesting that Sali and Rook cross paths in the Gala. She was originally created to be the forbidden love of Ardenator's military character, and after I created her, he poofed. With Rook, I've been able to create a finite personality for Sali, and I thank her for wanting to continue roleplaying with those two beyond the Gala thread. Awesome. Now we've got the awkward/cute couple going on. Thank you for also putting up with my majorly slow response times in the threads.
Jenno, here we go again. You've talked to me when I've been bored out of my mind and/or really ticked off at people in my life. You may have fed those feelings, but you let me rant and that, iin the end, always feels good when the closure arrives. With Tesa, who became a character that I hadn't a clue where to go, you've managed to set me up with a couple of brief (though hopefully will continue) ideas. You also offered Mel a spot on the Jewel Crew, which I appreciated though I did decline. Thanks bunches. I also adore the nickname you've given me.
Deceit is a person I truly adore. I know this guy in real life. He's different, and I've always taken to different. He has such a unique flare. Look at his characters! Not only that, but he has this inner ties between certain characters that all together makes a laughable tale. We've started a thread that takes my dark sider, Tesa, and places her in a position with his assassin, Graffion. I love every post so far. Thanks for making my day with those, as well as my every day after school and for really putting up with me. XD
Dutch, you also inspired the development of several characters. A couple of them you aided in shaping them to who they are now or given me the opportunity to rethink how I like my characters to react.
All right, Jace, you and Delta and Zark I thank for leading me into seeing how awesome Mandos are. Jace, your old mercenary crew was the jumpstart of Melody after Ardenator left. She became what she is/was through those threads.
This is getting long.
Oooooh... Otter, thank you for drawing the council and mah Echo with Delta. =3 Is wonderful. I hope to extend this thanks once I find someone with a scanner so I can put your character up on the site. Thanks for the patience there.
Kella, you're a wonderful person to talk to and very understanding. I swear, we're sisters.
Rugs and Casual... you people make me laugh. Which is sometimes all I need.
And overall, thank you. I'm sometimes not the easiest person to get along with and I do appreciate everyone's patience with me. I busy myself with school and sometimes I just do not have all the time in the world to do absolutely everything. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you all.

Hmmm where to start (Kidding of course, I know where) I think my first thanks has to go to Dutch, Who gave my very first character a place and has been a big help since then. With some RL stuff as well as SWU. and the next would have to be Otter, Who helped to keep me entertained with forum games during the long app process when I first got started and has proven to be a good friend since then. X) Thanks a bunch Otter-san and Lux who answered my request when I needed someone to RP with. I haven't forgotten and I'm sorry my plans changed so suddenly. Mara who accepted my first character and stuck with it while I Sw00bed my way through X) and who has also had something of an impact on how I currently review bios. kt for tolerating my long winded rants about random stuff of no consequence as well as coming up with the Blood Pack, On that note I would like to thank the Entire Blood pack for signing on so... kt, Otter, Dutch, Delta, Stripes, Saylis, Cas. You guys gave the idea life and I'm sure it's going to be fun. Jenno who has, and still does put up with my questions about anything that happens to come to mind while talking to him, and for being the voice of reason on Skype. Delta for listening to me rant about what it's like to live in Montana XD and helping me sort through a few problems even in the short time I've known him. I thank Rugs for his endless supply of links that always seem to be relevant to the conversation even if we're bouncing from topic to topic like ferrets on crack, and for providing laughs when I need them the most. (You still owe me a Nekkid fusion dance ) and Seal who I have only know for a very short time but has proved to be a valuable friend as well as an endless source of amusement to me, it's funny to have someone ask ME questions about Starwars xD I think that about wraps it up although I have this feeling that I'm forgetting someone... >.> as a Final note I would like to thank all the Admins, Mods, RPM's and my fellow NGT's for everything they do for the site and it's members X) You guys are awesome and it is very much appreciated that you give up your free time to help keep this wonderful place going. I'm very glad to have met you all and found SWU, I dunno what I would do without this site now that I'm here.

HUGE thanks to Dutch for humoring me and co-writing that "Between Martyrdom and Murder" post with me. It was a concept I'd been toying with in my mind for quite a while and I appreciate your willingness to work with me on it. I'm very proud of the post we made. Apart from the writing and planning that went into it (which was sooo much fun) I think we've really hit some deep points in our characters, which is always awesome. So thanks broham!

Wow. What a great idea for a thread! Hats off to Otterling, and the others involved in implementing this thread. :3
But what I really came here to say was:
*Thanks to Meira, Kellaishleya, and Dire Wolf.[/color] :] I was gone for a while and my roleplaying has been limited, but as a whole I've been around here for about two years. However, I still need to ask questions every once in a while, and I really appreciate it when they are answered with patience and in a timely fashion. Meira, Kella, and Dire have recently done exactly that. So thanks guys!
I could say more, but for now I'll keep it short 'n sweet. =P

Crap...where to start.... JeB: for creating the first SWU...without it I wouldn't be here...and..well...neither would this forum. JK: for being Tal(Prime)'s first jedi master...ever....then welcoming me into the fold again when I got back here. Jenno: for bringing me BACK here and then putting up with my shenanigans (you scare me, and annoy me and always make me go "FRELL! What the hell did I do THIS time?!" ...but that's okay, Jenno. I still <3 you) Vex: for keeping me here in the beginning, helping me through the hard times, being a role model, being my minion, plotting with me (and not just to take over the world), being an astounding friend-brother-person and just generally putting up with me and my insanity. Lat: I owe you more than you could possibly ever EVER know. Oh, and thanks for being my first friend on Prime, being my bro there and here, putting up with me and my insanity, being a great role model, and just being a great person <3. (thanks for plots too ^__^) Dire: it's okay man, I don't have much to say either, but I'll let you know when your marine rear graduates from boot. I'll try not to drool too much Rugs: for being awesomesauce. You've really developed a lot since you got here. Good to be in RP with you, and I can't wait to get Kesh kicking Kvothe's rear. Joo is good peeps FZ: for being a little nut-ball with a heart of gold. You too have developed a lot. Keep it up kiddo. Arh: for being another wonderful minion and being there for me when stuff got rough. Thanks for always making me laugh...it counts a lot. (PS: a lot of those anonymous +1 karmas were me ^_~) OH! and thanks for familiar...omgsoepicwin. Regnier: for being insane from the start, trying to be a nicer prick this time around, and being an oddly comfy (yet still slightly frightening) pillow. (you have other thanks coming later) Meira: for being such a sweetheart. Also thanks for being a nice admin, letting Aun be part of Rook's past (believe me it's helped us both and is fun to boot), unintentionally giving Lia someone to complain about her brother to, and keeping Whiskey tagging around with Tango/Axle (again, more thanks coming later) Jace: for rocking my socks as an admin and the grand master....not to mention all the other RP BS we've been through ^__^ (Y) PSF: (even though you're not around) thanks for being a great RPer, a good friend, and a good Admin For everyone involved in the Aun/Vex plotline: (including -- Vex, Arheim, Meira, Squee, Dire, Regnier, Mara, Eclipse and Necro (thus far)) THANK YOU OMG THANK YOU. It's been a real whirlwind at points, but every bit of it has been amazing and this tangled web just seems to keep growing and expanding even into my other characters. It's an absolutely wonderful storyline and it's so fun and amazing to watch it develop, I really can't thank you enough. For Lia's storyline: (including -- Vex, PSF, Meira, Mara, Zark, Lat, Jace, Dire, Sporky and omglotsamandos) I know she's a bit chaotic, and her arc isn't exactly cohesive, but you've all really helped me keep one of my fave characters going. Especially thanks to Lat for playing Itani, Zark for being lovable Ba'buir Ark, Vex for playing cocky smuggler-man Dar and saving her arse multiple times, and PSF for giving it all a very unexpected (and strangely needed) twist. Sam's plot: (including -- Mara, Dire, Lat, FZ, and Arheim) Thanks mara for giving me the idea for this AMAZING character...so hard to believe she started as an NPC! Thanks dire for letting Ryn save her from the evil clutches of Ean Stenner! That brute! (btw, thanks Mara for letting the Brute kidnap her and turn her life to hell...it's actually turned out for the better ^_^ BUT SHE STILL WANTS HER JACKET BACK! *cough*) Um...oh yeah...thanks Lat for giving her the green to be a Seven....*grin* (Y). Thanks FZ for Shine...it may seem like a bad time considering OOC relations, but it's true. And finally, thanks again Arh for giving Sammy a day job that she can be proud of....^___^

Well, since I've been getting thanks, only fair I throw a few back.
Rugs: You gave my first guy a master, welcomed me back into the fold after my absence and are always there to listen and assist when I need it. <3 ya bro....I can call you that right? D: Also, thanks for doing your best to keep me cheerful and jumpy, which is what I like to be.
PSF: I know he's gone but he helped me work out Jazen into something workable because my initial idea for him was bad. Wherever you are, you the man.
Dire: Can't say much other than thanks for being another ear to listen to my woes. And for helping me flesh out ideas; my brain always appreciates the assistance.
Tal: Oh dear....where to start? Thanks for being a good friend, for listening to my ramblings and woes, for trusting me enough to vent your woes to me, for having characters that make me laugh and give my characters great muse, for making Elys ^__^ and for being a nice person that helps make my day better.
Jenno: What can I say, your presence does wonders for my mood sometimes. ^__^
Jace:..........Whatever I can think of has already been said so....you make me laugh and that's a good thing. Thanks for that ^__^
Sporky: *hugs the color master*
Lat: For being straight with me all the time and giving me advice when life is kicking me down. Don't know what I'd do without your words of wisdom sometime(probably go insane.....r...is that even a word?)
Arh: Bird man gets points for always making me laugh and for letting one of my guys have his highly contested Familiars. Shine <3's you.
Mara/Kella: You guys rock, enough said. Thanks kella for helping me with the inner works of the Cat and thanks mara, for joining me on my crazy ideas(even if its only been the two, it counts)
Meira: You make me smile just by being yourself. Thankies ^__^
Silas: For suggesting me as a RPM; its a honor I didn't think I'd ever deserve. I still don't think I've earned it. Should get to work on that...
SWU: What can I say, I love all you guys, even if you don't love me back. You help make the bad days seem better and keep me on the path of life. Keep on kicking me fellows!!!

Just wanted to say that Jenno needs some kudos and pets and fluffy, lovey-dovey words sometimes (though he'll never admit it). He's a great guy and he somehow keeps his head on while he deals with... less great people. Lol. xD He's creative, imaginative, and a dreamer. He does his best in determining what's proper for SWU and how things can be improved to make things smoother, more efficient, more fun. I swear this guy is going to have gray hairs before he's 25 because he puts up with so much. So, yeah... Love you Jenno. <3

First of all, thank you Squee <3, and all the others who’ve thrown some appreciation my way, it is greatly... appreciated.
I’m probably going to be writing a couple of these. The next ones will be person specific but this one is mainly towards different user groups on the site in general, no specific names. It will mostly be for the current staff, but sometimes my mind wanders to those who have helped before, though I’ll try and focus my appreciation for them when it comes to that user group.
The Admins. Now, I’m not the easiest of guys to work with over a lengthy period of time, in short bursts when I’m enthused and motivated I might not be so bad, but that’s not too often and I’m thankful for the persistence and dedication. In many ways they are like my admin conscious, whenever I have one of my random ideas or a plot idea I put it to them and they’ll talk it through with me. Also, thank you for the amount of time you spend working on things in regards to the site, a lot of folks don’t know how many hours you spend on things that can quickly become taken for granted. It’s not an easy job and I’m glad that I have trustworthy, motivated people to help shoulder the workload.
The Mods. Whilst it’s true the admins do a lot of work behind the scenes and the like, but so do the mods. A lot of the time, the insight that you guys provide can really help us with finding a solution to an issue. I ask a fair amount from you guys and the continuous job of dealing with applications is not fun, I know, I’ve been there and most of the time all you guys get are complaints. I hope I’ve shown my support on that issue, but if not then know that I greatly respect the amount of work required to try and keep a section running whilst at the same time performing other tasks I throw out there and roleplaying, which is what we all came here to do. You folks do a fantastic job.
The NGTs. If ever there were an underappreciated group, this could be it. Going through application after application can be a slow and arduous task, especially when you don’t have any ‘official’ authority on the matter, only more an official endorsement that you do know what you’re talking about most of the time. By ironing out most of the things a mod might pick up on, you guys really help the application process become a much quicker and smoother process. It’s difficult to dedicate time to the job as most people are all too eager to ask for reviews but rarely hand any out. So thank you all, you are certainly an essential part of SWU’s application system.
The RPMs. Yet again, another underappreciated cog in great machine that is SWU. The insight of another writer is a great thing to have in developing your own ability to write and I think these guys all have keen senses to help anyone out, no matter how good they might be. People learn a lot about their writing the eyes of others, sometimes bad and sometimes good. The fact that you guys all take the time to help others discover the nuances of their own writing is a great thing and I’m thankful that you are willing to do so.
The Honored Vets (also the old staff members who didn’t take this position). I have, no doubt, worked with many of you over the years in some form or another and I am glad to have done so. All of those who have passed through the ranks of mod and admin have contributed a great amount of time and effort to this site and I’m glad I could work with you in ensuring this place lived on and improved. There have been ups and downs, but the continued support, which some of you provide even now, is most certainly engraved in the past of this site. It’s always a pleasure to see the purples around, even if for some it’s just a random drop-by. Thank you for the work you’ve done.
Finally, the members. Well, this forum would be nothing without you guys, all our work would amount to nothing if you didn’t visit day in and day out to get your writing fix. I’m glad to see that SWU has grown to appeal to so many of you and that you all take the time to play a part in the story here. I know I’m probably not the easiest of admins to work with, but I hope that I don’t make things too horrible for you, especially given my constant ability to be distracted by some new whimsical idea for the site. Hopefully you all see that I always try and make this place better and better for more and more folks to come along and enjoy with us. I’m glad you choose to frequent SWU and it’s nice to see you all around.
And with that I’ve covered a general overview of all the groups. My specific people comments will either take a while or will be posted up chunks at a time.
