So, quickly I'm going to have to give a HUGE thanks to all the NGT whom have been busy helping me. Recently I've been incredibly busy, and my time on the site is a bit limited, so to come on to see my section getting some attention is incredibly great. In specific I'd like to thank Squee, who is doing an excellent job at looking over bios.

You all are great, and helpful to the site but are sometimes looked over in the grand scheme of things. I'd love to take this moment to throw them all a thank you, and remind everyone the Blues are out there. Thank you guys! <3

In this I'd like to make a quick apology for my sparseness recently, but that I'll work harder to get in bio reviews and posts.

This doesn't get used as nearly as much as it should, I believe. So, I'm going to toss out something.

I was gone for damn near a year. I took a creative writing course and the teacher completely shot my will to write. She didn't like me. She didn't like my writing. She didn't like what my writing was about. She ripped into it so much that I lost confidence in my own writing. I was almost ashamed of my writing. So, I didn't write. I didn't write anything. I didn't write my own stories. I didn't write on SWU. I was done with writing.

The end of this past school year, I wanted to write again. I wanted to get back into it. And some of these people... At absolutely amazing. Deceit, Kella (Kiwi), Meira, and I know Cain, Jazen (FZ), and a few others would be willing to write with me again once I post. I just... I don't know how to express how much that means to me. Especially since I've suffered a lot because of my mistakes. I'm just so happy that you guys forgave my one year break.

Also, thanks for the promotion back to NGT. I told the admins a few months ago to take me off the roster. Now they believe I'm qualified to be an NGT again. And that... just makes me smile. So... yeah, a big thanks Meira, Sparrow, and whoever else who pitched in saying I was qualified. <3

And to jump back on the love bandwagon, I'd like to throw some serious affection at Sparrow. Even though you're the only person on SWU staff who's real name I don't know, I forgive you. Always there with a funny comment, youtube video, or meme relevant to my interests, you keep it fun buddy. And to top that off, you keep me on track. I'm a terribly lazy admin, but you're there to nudge me back in the right direction when I forget things. Which is pretty much all the time.

This... this has gone too long without some love. I'm here to revive that love.

To start off, I think I need to explain, how very important what I'm saying is. As some of you know, this year, is killing me slowly. I've lost my mother, my wife, my best friend, and soon my uncle. All in the span of about three months. I've been in so much pain, that I literally have been feeling myself changing. In ways I don't like. However... I have had support. May not be with anyone in my physical life right now, but here, on this one little forum, I've received support in spades. Here's my list, of people that I really appreciate, and is in no order, so don't get butthurt if you're last Dire

Jenno: As always, you've been there for good laughs, good discussions, and laughing at me as I was wasted on skype. I've always loved brainstorming story stuff, and editing your writings as you wished.

Meira: Oh dear, sweet Meira. Once more, your kindness never seems to end. Thanks for talking me down when my head got hazed and confused over the situation with my now ex-wife. And naturally, thanks for keeping the DLA going with Rugs

Kella: I am so proud of you. Last I saw, you were just some kid, and now that I've returned, I get to see you turn into one hell of a woman. You've been particularly kind to me, and you will never know how much I appreciated you literally reading to me until I fell asleep, because I couldn't fall asleep alone for the first couple weeks of my divorce. Thanks babe.

Moonfire: Girl, I am SO glad to have met you. You are just one hell of a person, and one I can empathize with so well. You and Cain have both been the two brightest lights to my return to SWU, glad ya'll are here, and glad ya'll are doing so well. Can't wait to meet ya'll at Thanksgiving this year. :3

Cain: JERK! But no, really happy to have met you as well, still can't get over how well you get my sense of humor. I hope for nothing but the best with the big move coming up, and like I just said, can't wait to meet you guys!

Jace: Welcome back buddy! Glad to see me returning is bringing more people back! Lol. Missed you man, and am so happy to be talking again. <3

Otterling: I haven't had the chance to speak with you since I've returned... but thank you for this thread. And for making me smile whenever I remembered you in my hiatus. I miss you something terrible.

Dire Wolf: Last... but by far not the least. Dude, even after I left originally, you kept trying to stay in contact, despite my ex-wife being terrible and lying to me about you calling me. She did admit she did it. I'm so, so sorry. Thank you though, thank you so much for being one of very, very few people I know absolutely has my back, and absolutely gives a poodoo about me. I love you man, and can't wait till the couch tour. Just... be careful when you're sent over seas again. I've always got your back, and that, that won't change my friend.

And to everyone else on SWU! Don't think I've forgotten you! Most of you I barely know, but doesn't mean I don't appreciate you! You're the lifeblood of the site, and every member is important. SWU only attracts creative people (those who stay anyway =P). And I am happy to say that I spend my free time with such a creative bunch.

Hey everyone. So I wanted to poke my head in here and just say thank you to all of you. It's been over a year since I was back, there were times I thought about coming back and just didn't because I figured my sudden disappearance might not be looked so kindly on. To everyone I was in a thread with when I disappeared...I'm so sorry.

I'll be honest, when I came home from deployment I was pretty messed up. Losing my father and then having to move fallen soldiers every day for 7 months only 2 months after his funeral just didn't leave me in good headspace. I dealt well while overseas because I had a lot to keep me preoccupied but when I got home I just kinda felt lost. I couldn't write, couldn't draw, and generally just disappeared on a lot of things.

I know Jenno tried a couple of times to reach out to me and ask me to come back. For that, I'm really grateful. Even though I didn't take him up on it, the simple fact that I hadn't been forgotten or written off meant a lot to me. So thank you, Jenno. Even now when I've come slinking back in and hoping I wouldn't be too out of place, you still invited me in on a thread. That's just...that's awesome. So thanks.

Thank you to Timber Wolf too. Man, you are an incredibly brave person and you have nothing but my respect. Thank you for the welcome back and know that I'm really proud of you. Shoot me your mailing addy when you get overseas so I can send letters. I know what it's like to be away from family and friends and how much a simple letter can mean.

Cain, thanks for giving me a shot at bringing in my padawan. He's had a few rocky starts with different masters but nothing that took off. I hope that the threads to come are as awesome as your character.

Mostly, thank you to Dutch. He brought me back here even when I didn't think I would be welcomed anymore. Since returning he's been nothing but supportive, leaping right into threads with me, assisting in getting my characters back to active, introducing me to other players who might get along with my characters, and chatting with me over PM since I have no access to the cbox at work. He's got a million things on his plate and yet constantly tries to help out everyone here. He's an all around awesome guy. When I began to give reasons I couldn't come back, not being able to post as often as I want and being unsure if I was still welcome, he gave me a million other reasons I should and didn't let up till he'd convinced me.

I also want to give an over all shout out to everyone else here. You guys kept this going and kept this site alive and vibrant. You continued to mold an amazing story around incredible characters, giving depth and life to a whole world of plotlines. Thank you guys. You never cease to leave me floored.

Then this goes to all the staff. If it wasn't for you all this site would crumble and go into anarchy. I at one time ran a forum. So I know what its like behind the scenes of a site.

The biggest thanks goes out to Meria, Sparrow and Jenno for all there hard work during what free time they have to run this site as successfully as they do. I tip my had to you three.

I intend to be here for a long time. This has been the best Role Playing experience I have ever had.

I want to take this moment to thank all of the mods out there. You guys work yourselves silly on something the rest of us do as a hobby. You can't take much time off and you have a TON of work to do. Thank you for volunteering to give of your time just so we can all play a quality game. You keep our standards high and help make this site really shine.

Thought that this thread would be a lot easier to use now with the introduction of tagging. Thought I'd throw out some appreciation for a couple of things that had happened lately.

Dutch - Thank you for taking the time to go over my Sith NPCs and listen to me ramble before providing some feedback given that I threw a fair amount of reading at you for it.

Moonfire - The same can be said of you, helping me get continually excited about writing with Velorma and seeing what I might use her and her apprentices for. And also for the times where you've just read things for me because I've wanted some insight, it's always a great help.

Cain - When I was getting stressed at the issues with the forum wrapper you were kind enough to step in and fiddle around with it which helped alleviate much of the annoyance that had built up inside me. I'm glad that you were able to poke around for a bit.

Silas - Had you not been around I probably would have ended up curling up into a little ball and crying myself to sleep over the v5 stuff. Once I hit that brick wall I very much was just guessing at what to do but thankfully you actually know some stuff. Also thank you for sitting down and going through collecting the old code and upgrading the site with me.

Throwing out some appreciation for the help with the age progression.

I'd like to thank Dutch and Squee for their help in assembling the list of characters for age progression a few weeks back.

And for carrying out the updates I'd also like to thank Meira and (once more) Squee. In both cases these guys helped me cut down the amount of time it would have taken to carry out these very repetitive tasks.

And then more thanks for Meira for helping edit/read through my drafts of the plot update in order to avoid posting up some of the silly sentences I tend to write.

  Well, this being what it is, I do feel I must express my gratitude not only to that of those here but abroad. To the brotherhood, friendship, comradery and power that comes with our gathering. And most of all that I only have to see my imbecilic family once or twice a year. 

   So let us rejoice for not only the abilities and blessings we have been given, straight down to the fact we have frikkin' computers! technology and junk nowadays... seriously... Think about that..
