Early Ages
Giovanni Arcana was born in Coruscant, he was raised in the lower middle class in the city living the hustles and bustles of the metropolis world. He was born to working class parents Tish Arcana and her husband Marvn Arcana. They lived in a small flat in a decent part of the city, enough to stay away from trouble. Giovanni was a rather naive child growing up not knowing of war and Galactic dispute. Giovanni had done what many boys his age did, play sports and talk about speeders.
Childhood
Giovanni wasn't much of a scholar in class and wasn't the well behave on neither. Arcana would play typical pranks on the proctors or talk and laugh with his mate in the play ground. His teachers thought he was a bit of a handful at times. His young naive phase becoming a drift as he obtained a city slicker persona, nicking speeders and gambling in the slums at a young age of 9. Overall he was out of control being a custom to the undergrounds of Coruscant. Arcana's main role in the slumps was to innocently con and persuade many cantina comers with his older hooligans in several bar games.
One day Arcana at the age of 10 was luring many gullible bar goers to participate in his posses tricks, he stumbled into three Republic soldiers. They were talking among themselves and chatting about there experience in the army. Giovanni, who was eavesdropping in there conversation became interested in they're profession. He ran home and told his parents what he wanted to be in life, an Republic soldier.
His family where neutral about which side they favoured but being in a Republic territory they preferred the Republic. Giovanni ran to the cantina everyday to hear the Soldier rant about saving each other lives and joke about, until the young Arcana had the courage to ask one of them if the he could join the Republic. And thunderous laugh came to them as they said he wasn't old enough to join and told him to leave they're site.
Preteens
Even though his hopes of wanting to join the Republic was impossible due to his age he still greatly wanted to become one. Arcana did a lot of research on them and everyday he talked about his want to help the Republic. With this on his head everyday his hooliganism began to decrease and in so his school habits increased he was beginning to became like his old self. Until his old posse were caught by authorities and Arcana's name was included even though he wasn't part of that life anymore. His parents paid a hefty sum for the incident. The next day going to court for the crime he didn't contribute the three Republic veterans were the jury.
Giovanni's "friends" were tried guilty, but the vets recognized the boy and thought obedience training would do the trick. They gave him a "Punishment" for a scholarship to Academy of Carida in where Giovanni was sent to become a better person but really it ignited his dream to become a Soldier.
14 - Present
At first the Caridian training was proven difficult for the boys body. Arcana barely could move after the drills and rifle courses, but he proved that his stamina was up to standard. Everyday he practiced on how to reload his gun how to think in certain situations and the many histories of the Republic. Arcana, while at learned many trades to use in technical situations like defusing technology and harmful explosions. The boys at the academy all state that he would be used as a shield because he would be shot and killed first. At that time he didn't have much friends until he was paired with a youth unit which were close knitted squads that were only used for combat projects.
They worked hard together and achieved great kudos for there teamwork in completing task even though Arcana was the weakest link and was the most likely to need assist and was the comedian. At the age of 17 Arcana became the leader of the unit due to several graduations to the unit and began to bloom into an up right soldier. He was very reckless, but he was precises and in that gave him a fine reputation at the establishment.
18 is where he graduated for the prestigious academy at good honours and was on any recruiters list of enrollment. His dreams became true and now his future shall be written. He has never been in a conflict as of his recruitment, but his courage and determination have been well seasoned and his mind still sharp he is ready to take on the Republics adversaries and to bring justice to the Republic.

Sand brewed gentle with the wind as a few particles went into Giovanni's eyes. The young, but caution minded private stood valiantly at his post. It would seem his duty was to wait at the shipping docks on the Planet Tatooine. Giovanni, who is the youngest of the crew stood guard as the clunker of a ship needed fuel. Private Arcana looking around to avoid his monotonous century duty.
"It doesn't take this long to find ration for our mission... I wonder if they're in some kind of a Cantina or something having a laugh? Hm, Of coarse they would, leaving me in this horrible twin heat!"
The worst part of the whole matter was not the fact Arcana was on this assigned job , it was the fact he was unarmed. Arcana, left feeling as if he is the child of the bunch, less important. Giovanni always seems to feel like this in certain moments due to his lack of seniority. The young boy, who has not been in a death threatening battle yet, felt as if this was his whole republic career.
"If you want target practice, why don't you go into the desert and throw rocks at womp rats?!"
Giovanni said sarcastically as he began to sit on the dirt pretending to be his squad leader. The private scooped a fistful of sand and began letting most of it free in his hand, letting it deplete through the cracks like if it is an hourglass, counting the grains of boredom. It was going to be a long day of ship watching on the most dullest planet in the universe.
