You may or may not have noticed, but Dutch has been absent as of late. Personal issues have come up, and he's going into retirement. I, at least, hope that this is only a temporary leave of absence to sort out real life issues, but as of right now this is looking to be something of a permanent condition.
I've talked to him over xbox live, and there are some things Dutch would like to say. He wants all of you to know that he's sorry for this set of circumstances, and apologizes for his sudden leave from the site. Also, he will miss hanging out with you all (as it was fun ^^), and asks that none of you forget him, and all of the things that he's brought to the site.
There are a few people he wanted to thank and recognize, as he was about to post up a post in the appreciation thread just before this happened. Rugs, Jenno, Meira, Jace, and Otterling.
Again, he'd like to apologize for this sudden leave... but the circumstances surrounding it were unforeseen.

Sporky: He's been gone less than a full week. We will certainly endevour to do such things, but one cannot expect anyone to flip a switch and not be a little distraught over something like this situation. Many of us posting here considered him to be a close friend, granted he was an online friend, but a close one at that. Yes, he isn't dead, but contact is cut... it feels like a bestest friend moved away, and you can't tell me that you wouldn't miss 'em a bit.
