"I'd like to keep this lightsaber as it is, if I can." Alindra held the antique weapon in one hand. "Call it a memento of home and everything I've gone through to get here."
Alindra started walking toward the junk yard, not looking forward to having to sully herself with excess filth. She didn't mind as much as she could have, since she was already sweaty and dirty from her early workout routine.
When she got close to the door, she looked back at Cadyren, slightly admiring his intimidating presence. "Of course, I'm assuming you know somewhere around here where I can find a crystal for a new lightsaber."

Cadyren sighed, building the Lightsaber would take longer if Alindra had to find or create her own Lightsaber crystal as well as look through a junk yard to find her Lightsaber parts and take the time needed to build her saber Cadyren knew how to make a synthesizd Lightsaber crystal, his master had wanted him to build one because they were normaly stronger then regular crystals, however if Cadyren failed in making one it would cause his Lightsabers blade to be damaged, either to thin or to erratic for him to use properly. Going to another planet would take some time as well, and would be more dangerous, but the Lightsaber blade would be fine as long as Alindra correctly put the saber together. he decided that he would let her decide wheither or not she wanted a natural or synthesized crystal when the found the other parts to her saber, for now he didn't need to worry about it.
As they neared the junkyard Cadyren's mind began to go over exactly what parts they needed, they wouldn't be able to make one of the beautiful polished sabers most Jedi used, but they would be able to make one that worked perfectly fine still. Cadyren follwoed Alindra to the junkyard, his hand on his own saber as he remembered building it on his way to Illum, and how attached he had become to it because for many years it was the only thing he had really owned. It was supposed to be his first step to becoming a true Jedi, but instead it was his first step in leaving it, realizing that he didn't want to forsake everything to protect the galaxy, that he wanted to be in charge of what he should do, not some Council that spent all their time inside a Temple.
When they reached the junkyard Alidnra asked Cadyren where they would get the focusing crystal, and he shrugged If their is a furnace at the Temple you could create your own crystal. The blade will be a bit stronger then those that the Jedi use and it will be red. If their isn't one we could go to Dantooine and go to the crystal cave there and you can get a different color.

Stepping out into the junk, Alindra began to dig for components, though she only had a vague idea of what she needed to be looking for. "I think I should be practical for the time being," Alindra said. "There's no need to jump around the galaxy looking for crystals if we have a supply nearby. I might check out Dantooine's crystals another time, but for now, I'll take what I can get."
She moved toward large piles of scrapped speeders and small cruiser parts. "I think I should find something to hold everything together first. And I know I'm going to need some wiring, if only to run the activation switch."
Stopping next to the remains of a racing speeder, Alindra grabbed a large tube on the side of the craft and started pulling on it, loosening it from where it had been attached. "I'll also need a power supply and a lens, I know that much."
Alindra was recalling how her sister had taken apart her lightsaber, replacing a few of the components to it would work better than it had. More than anyone--except for Caiella Stormfist--Alindra knew the real danger of a lightsaber failing in battle. It was death.

Cadyren nodded, the sythensized crystals did sound better. Cadyren had considered trying to see if the Temple had a furnace so that he could make one, but he was to attached to his current focusing crystal to willingly replace it. It was something that he had, for lack of a better word, bonded with over the years he had kept it under his possession.
As he looked through the junk he listened as Alindra said what she thought she would need for her saber, Well at least she knows something about Lightsabers, she mightbe able to make hers in a fair amount of time.
Cadyren began to pick up certain parts and wiring and all sorts of stuff like that. After awhile had a large pile of stuff that seemed to large to build a single Lightsaber with, he actually had to use the Force to stop the pile of junk from falling out of his arms and spilling everywhere. The reason for this was that Lightsabers could be made out of almost anything, and some parts worked better or fit better in the Lightsaber then others, so Alindra would have to choice which parts to put in her saber.
After his pile got almost to big for his arms to carry he set it down in a clearing and started to sort through the parts, throwing anything that was destroyed beyond his ability to repair into a nearby mountain of trash. He would occationally fix something if he just had to move a few wires or something like that, but usually he just through anything that he thought wouldn't be able to work away.
He eventually had enough parts to builf one Lightsaber and about half of one, which was good because it allowed Alindra more choice into what her Lightsaber ended up like. He unfortunetly didn't have the schematics for a Lightsaber on his person, though he had one on his recently deceased brothers datapad that had all of Thane's knowelege of the Dark Side written in it, including a ruff outline of how to build a Lightsaber. Cadyren had expanded upon it so that it was more accurate once it had come into his possession, also writing in some of his ideas on the Dark Side as well. He would show it to Alindra once they got to the Temple, though he wouldn't let her borrow it out of fear she might try to use any knowelege she gained from it to gain some sort of an advantage over him.

Alindra took out every small battery she could find. If she came upon a clear bit of glass, she shoved it in her pocket. In a few places, she came upon small battery packs and power supplys. She took everything she could find, knowing most of it would likely be worthless.
It didn't matter. In time, she would find parts that worked and as she would go through those, she would find the right parts. She would start with junk and end up with a weapon well worth her making.
Cadyren seemed to be having better luck. His knowledge on the right items to use was more than basic information. Alindra knew the young man had likely built his own weapon and from that experience, had learned what would work and what wouldn't.
After a while, Alindra took her component-themed junk (and a lot of it was junk) and met back up with Cadyren. "Surely something I found will work," she said.

Cadyren was finished sorting through the parts and what not when Alindra arrived with her own pile of junk. As Cadyren took the pile from alidnra, using the Force to make sure nothing fell out of his hands, he could tell that some of the parts were uncompatible with a Lightsaber, and others were trash, but the parts would work. He placed it down on the ground and began to look through all of the stuff, eventually finding enough parts that when combined with the stuff he had would allow for the construction of maybe two Lightsabers, depending on how either was built.
Cadyren thought about making a second Lightsaber as he looked at the parts, as having one would come in handy if, and he hoped that it would never happen, his other Lightsaber broke or was lost in a fight. Also he might be able to convince Grawn to teach him how to duel weild Lightsabers so that he had the advantage of knowing how to use an advanced form that most Jedi around his age weren't aquainted with. He decided that it would depend on how Alindra built her Lightsaber, and if their were enough spare parts he would build a second one, and would be able to have a powerful synthesized crystal and still keep his green one.
Alright, it seems like we got enough for you to build a Lightsaber, if you have a datapad or anything like that I can download the schematics onto it. if not then I can let you use my datapad for a bit and you can try to use that to build your saber. Cadyren said as he began to pick up the pieces of scrap that he had deemed usable for a Lightsaber.
Once he finished he began to head back to the Temple, most of the pieces were in his pockets but others were held in his hands carefully, as he didn't want to break anything and make it impossible for him to build a second Lightsaber.

For every three pieces Alindra had collected, Cadyren discarded two of them. His knowledge and skill were more important than Alindra's choices in components. She would have to be willing to trust Cadyren, if only because she knew almost nothing of what she should do next.
"I don't have a datapad at the moment," Alindra said. "I've been meaning to get one, but I've put more effort into my training than in finding other tools--so, if you don't mind, I'd like to look off your diagram."
A smirk, filled with guile and purpose, planning and confidence, formed on Alindra's face. "Don't worry. I'll make it worth your while."

Cadyren frowned, he didn't like the idea of letting someone take his datapad and have access to all of his files, which he hadn't bother to encrypt or put a password on because he didn't think someone would ever be looking through his stuff. Now every theory he had made regarding certain aspects of the Force, his opinions on both the Jedi and the Sith, and all of his brothers and his joint knowledge of the Force were going to be handed over to someone Cadyren had only met twice, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to trust her with all of that information that could be used to figure out how is mind worked and some secrets that he didn't need others to know.
He was still unsure whether or not he should give Alindra the datapad when he heard her say she'd make it worth his while. He stumbled a second as his mind wondered what she meant by that. He quickly regained his composure however, and continued to walk back to the Temple. I'm sure once you've been trained more you'll be able to assist me at some point in the future. Cadyren replied, his mind drifting somewhat to what problems he may face in the future, and how Alidnra could assist him in getting rid of them.

Alindra made a point to look at the designs when she had a chance, rarely even touching Cadyren's datapad. Sure of herself and the fact that her skills would grow as time went on, she came up with a careful reply to Cadyren's assertion that Alindra would be able to assist him.
"And I'll be grateful to help you as well." She started to smile, like a cat after eating a sweet little bird. "I have a suspicion it will be quite exciting, even more than bathing in the blood my victims. Have you ever done anything like that? It's really inspiring."

Cadyren would have to just hope Alindra wouldn't snoop through his datapad, it was all he really could do now. He had already offered to help her make a Lightsaber and it would be rude to just say he changed his mind. Most people might beleive that it would be odd for a Sith to show respect to someone, but Cadyren believed it was nessasary to survive at the Temple, even to a weaker Sith. Having enemies or even just making someone annoyed could lead to something bad happening on Korriban, heck if some Sith got bored something bad could happen.
Cadyren found the remark about bathing in someones victims blood somewhat disturbing, especially from someone that was his ally. Perhaps she was speaking figuratively, and had done sonething less strange like kill someone she hated and felt cleansed afterward, in which case Cadyren had had a similiar experience. So cadyren was unsure how he would answer such a question, so he just didn't. Hopefully it will be exciting.
When they arrived at the Temple Cadyren began to head for his room to retrieve the datapad. He really didn't care if Alindra followed him to his room, he would be able to find her quickly enough after he picked it up. He opened the door to his room and looked inside the small space, which only had a bed and a footlocker, which was all he really needed. He picked up his amtress and took the datapad out of it, turning it on to get a quick look through it before he handed it over. It had a lot of summerizes of books in the library and even some information on certain Sith powers, llike Force Lightning and such. Cadyren had yet to try and learn the ability, though he wanteed to soon. Even his brother who hadn't even got clsoe to mastering the power had nearly killed him with a shot of Lightning, scaring most of his chest.
He opened a file that had the Lightsaber specs, looking through them to make sure everything was in order, satisfied that it was he set the datapad so that even if it was tunred off it would open back to that page, this way Alindra wouldn't have to look through all of the files to find the specs again.
Once he was done he looked up to see if Alindra had followed him or not.

Taking careful steps, Alindra followed Cadyren. She didn't want to let him run the risk of exposing his plans or datapad to anyone else. Besides, Alindra knew that building a lightsaber would probably work better if there was at least a degree of privacy involved.
"Pretty basic place you have here." Alindra stepped inside, just enough to be inside the room and not standing in the doorway. "Of course, I have about as much. Well, I might have more clothes, but not much more."
She crossed her arms along her abdomen and leaned back against the wall, not far from the doorway. She caught a glimpse of Cadyren's expression, wondering what he might be thinking. It was possible that she could try and sense his feelings, but that didn't seem to be a good idea. It would only give him a reason to be angry if he wasn't already.
"If you don't mind me saying, I don't think you believe me. You think I'm just a determined girl with a little Force power playing Sith." She dared to take a step closer. "I have bathed in the blood of my enemies. It takes a few bodies' worth to pool enough blood to submerge yourself it. I'd say if you were going to try it out, you should probably use four if not five kills to do it."

Cadyren nodded at the comment about his lack of furniture, one of the things that stuck with him from his Jedi training was his disability to find any need of having more junk in his home then needed. He knew some people did it to flaunt their wealth and power, but Cadyren found it a waste of time and money that could be used elsewhere.
Cadyren shrugged at Alindra's comment, While I do indeed agree that your Force abiltiies are.....less then average for most Force Users your age, but your capable enough that if you had the element of surprise you could probably kill someone, maybe even another Sith initiate. If you do train hard you could quickly gain some of the experience you've lacked and be a good ally to have on my side.
Depositing the Lightsaber parts onto the floor carefully Cadyren handedthe datapad to Alindra, When your ready just lift the pieces into the air, our hands are a little to large to put some of the pieces in place so using it is required. Normaly it would take a Padawan about a month to create a Lightsaber, but if you want I can assist you when you need help and speed up the process.
As he was talking he began to move his bed and footlocker over to a far corner of his room so that they wouldn't get in the way, pushing them across the ground quickly. When he was done he sat on the ground and waited for Alindra to begin.

As the pieces were positioned on the floor, Alindra sat close to them, crossing her legs when she relaxed on the floor. She glanced at the components, wondering how she was going to make everything work. Cadyren passed Alindra the datapad. She looked over the designs, looking at what pieces went where. A few minutes later, the pieces began to rise, as the assembly began.
Many of the components began to swoop around in the air, almost attacking one another. But Alindra steeled herself and made the pieces come closer rather than crash. Each moved at its own pace, occasionally synchronizing with the next piece of the electronic puzzle. There were so many interactions and most of them, Alindra didn't understand. She wasn't very tech savvy, so she just had to content herself in following the path Cadyren had put out for her.

Cadyren watched as Alindra lifted the pieces into the air with the Force, watching as each component began to fly toward each other, almost colliding into each other. Alindra had not said she wanted Cadyren's help building the weapon, nor had she turned the offer down, so he was unsure wheither or not to use his Force abilities to aid her in making the saber, so he just watched and would tell her when she had put something in the wrong place.
The process was going along well, Alindra was at least paying attention to the schematics and wasn't trying to stray from it to make the Lightsaber a little different and unique. It would still take her a long while to build the saber, but it would be worth it once she managed to learn how to wield it properly. Hopefully in a few years she would begin to catch up with others of her age and then she would be a good ally to have. For now he would just have to assist her in her training and hope that a more powerful Sith would take her as his or her apprentice.
After awhile of waiting Cadyren pulled out his Lightsaber and looked it over, pulling a cloth out of his footlocker as well so that he could clean the weapon. He did this every once in awhile, just to make sure no large amount of dirt found its way into the saber and damaged it. He found a little sand on the saber, but nothing more. Once he finished he waited for Alindra to either take a break building her saber or maybe even finish it.

She brought her thoughts deep within. Her heart was quiet, beating only as softly as it absolutely had to for life to go on. Alindra allowed herself to find the path each flicker of electricity would have to take on in order to power the weapon she would build.
Rage and hatred fueled her need to assemble the weapon. Alindra could see in her mind how it would feel to cut through durasteel and blaster rifles and living flesh. Her eyes tensed as she let the air out of her chest, pushing it through her nose. The outline of the lightsaber began to take shape not only on Cadyren's datapad, but also in the air in front of Alindra. She began to create the networks of circuitry around her.
A satisfied calm began to take over. The pieces began to shift around on another, just as they were supposed to. The murder to come from the blade shook in Alindra's spine as anticipation, just as she remembered her other weakness, a weakness few Sith had. Alindra thought of Laira, her little sister. The one part of her family she didn't know she had most of her life. They shared a heritage, one suppressed by the Jedi, left unexplored.
"For you, Laira," Alindra whispered, "I make rivers of Jedi blood. I will carve lumber made of the limbs of my victims." With each word, the pieces began to snap together, taking on a distinct shape of a lightsaber.

Cadyren could feel the anger rising up from alidnra as she built the Lightsaber, and he wondered where this rage came from. He was curious as to what the woman before him had been through to get to this temple on Korriban, he was sure her story would be interesting. His curiousity grew when she said something about someone named Laira, who seemed to be someone close to Alindra. He wodnered if this person was a fallen friend or perhaps someone still alive that Alindra wanted to protect, Cadyren didn't know.
He watched as the Lighsaber began to take shape. There appeared to be nothing wrong with it, but he would probably look the weapon over once it was compelted to make sure that nothing was missaligned or in the wrong spot. For now he decided he should rest so he would be able to stay up later and make up for his lost training when they were finished here. He dropped onto his bed and closed his eyes, not falling asleep but going through all of the stuff he would do later. Perhaps he would try to expand his own knowlege of Shii-Cho, or maybe try and work on some of his weaker Force abilities. He also thought a bit about his life on Tatooine. He remembered how Elain and her father had taken him in when he came into their shop in search of a job. He had been a bit of a 'downer' as Elain had said when he had first arrived, as he had just recently had seen his master killed by his own brother, and had then killed his brother in turn. After awhile though Elain and him had become good friends, and after saving her life from a thief they had gotten even closer, and became a couple. Her father had approved of him, he had seemed a decent enough boy, if not a little odd, and had considered him as a son.
This happy memory of course soon had to end as it inevidebly led to the one where Elain was killed. He rememebred the look on her fathers face when Cadyren walked into the shop to find him laying over the corpse of Cadyren's girlfriend. as he remembered this anger began to rise in him, did he really diserve to have everything taken from him? Yes, he was a Dark jedi at the time but he had killed no one in his pursuit of power, was just having the power enough to make him deservering of losing nearly everyone he cared about? Even if he did deserve it, did her father? He was the kindest man Cadyren had ever known besides his Jedi master, why did he have to see his own child dead in front of him?
Cadyren rememebred where he was and calmed himself, he needed to stay in control of himself. He sat up on his bed and placed his hands on his face, a frown on his face. When he was completely calmed he looked to Alindra to see how her Lightsaber was coming along. He had no clue as to how long he had been laying in bed so he had no idea how far along she was, she could have been finished for all he knew.

Want, need, desire, and destruction. These thoughts began to sway and roll through Alindra's mind. The Force had become a pair of hands, calmly twisting and turning the growing networks into a tube shape. What Alindra felt most in her heart was a passion to become more than she'd been, accepting that the shadows of her soul held the path to her continued progress.
As it took on its final shape, Alindra lured the interior of the lightsaber into the casing she'd found. She slipped the lens into place, giving her a clear indication that she would find someone to look into that view only to feel the horror that would snap out of it. All black and trimmed with metal, the process of assembling the lightsaber also cleaned the casing that would hold the components together. A handful of snaps crack through the room as the assembly finishes.
The lightsaber is a cold, hateful black. A few pieces around the handgrip are framed in gunmetal. Longer than most weapons of its type, Alindra's lightsaber would be harder for her to hide than the lightsaber she'd inherited from Caiella Stormfist, but it would be stronger. A much more aggressive weapon, Alindra would be able to hold it with one or both hands.
She took the weapon, feeling some force of divinity had delivered it to her. Only when she wrapped all of her fingers around the lightsaber, did she turn it on. Hate-filled red light erupted from the blade, making the weapon come alive. Alindra stood up, spinning it around her body, turning it in a series of arcs so she could hear the deadly hum all around her.
"Yes," Alindra said, turning the lightsaber once more before shutting it down. "At last, it's mine."

Cadyren watched as the Lightsaber was finished, noticing the slight increase in length when compared to most single hilt Lightsabers. He frowned for a moment, it seemed that if he really did wish to make a new Lightsaber then he would have to go back to the junkyard again, he guessed he would have to do that later. He jumped out of his bed and watched as Alindra spun the Lightsaber in her hands, he had hoped to inspect the saber hismelf once she had finished but it seemed that everything was in order. So it seemed that you've finished, nice to have your own weapon now isn't it? Want to train now or do you plan on doing that later?
There was enough space in his room for a little bit of practice, though open sparring would have to be taken to the courtyard. Cadyren's index finger tapped against the hilt of his saber, waiting for a response. His mind went through all of the movements in Form 1 that he knew. He wished he had a blaster that he could put on a low setting and fire at her, seeing as she would be better off learning how to fight troopers then Jedi right now. Unless he could find one later he would have to teach Lightsaber combat for now. There was no way he would be able to prepare lidnra for a fight with a Jedi Knight, but he could lay down the foundations for someone else to make her powerful enough to fight.

Alindra looked at her weapon, feeling the firmness in her hands. The crispness of its movements had brought out the fighter inside her. There was much for her to learn and do and this was the moment to settle her in the habits of moving her lightsaber properly, not simply like a wild beast.
"There's not much of a decision there. I'm going back to training right now. I have to make sure this weapon works, just like I have to learn to use it the proper way." She looked at her weapon once more before turning again to her ally. "No, there is only the choice of training now or giving up. And I have many Jedi kills to claim as my own."
Alindra turned to the door of Cadyren's quarters before glancing over her shoulder, unconsciously tossing her honey blonde hair from her vision. "Coming?" she asked with a smile.

Cadyren nodded when Alindra said she was ready to continue to train, he hoped that the amount of time he was spending helping her learn how to weild the weapon would not be wasted. He followed Alidnra out of the room, unclipping his saber from his belt and spinning it in his left hand. He had held the weapon so long he knew exactly how much force he had to use in order to spin the saber one way, and how much to get it to role around his entire hand.
As they neared the courtyard once again he pressed a button on his Lightsaber, watching as the dark green blade jumped from the emitter. there was no extra weight, no feeling that there was even a blade coming out of the Lightsaber at all. This was the reason that only Jedi and Sith used Lightsabers, no one else was trained to use a weapon like it, even a master swordsman would have trouble adapting to such a weapon.
He stepped into the courtyard with the Lightsaber held in front of him, getting hismelf in to the opening stance of Shii-Cho. The best place to start I guess would be with the opening stance. just try to copy my movements as best you can for now, once we finish the basic movements I'll go into more detail onto how you are supposed to move and when.
He stood in the opening stance for a few moments, enough time for Alindra to get into a similiar stance, then began to do some of the baasic swings of Ideal Shii-Cho, which was horizontal swings and vertical swings for offense, as was the same with the defense. While these movements were very simple they required that the persons arms and hands be in a presice place to provide the most power in the swing, or to make sure that their saber wasn't knocked out of their hand when the blocked. Every swing had a wide arc to it, allowing the weilder to take out more then one person at once if they angled their attack right. he repeated these movements over and over again, to allow Alindra to commit the arm and hand position to heart so that she wouldn't be sliced in half because she had blocked an incoming saber with an ackward grip or had her arm cut off because she over extended herself. If she did that then his efforts would be wasted, and he hated wasting his time.
