Birth place: Csilla / Csaplar

Bio:
Due to the Chiss species relative location, in the Chiss Ascendancy, they have long been unknown through out the galaxy. Only a few of these species have ventured beyond the Chiss Ascendancy. This is the story of one of those Chiss, a warrior named Crah'systor'nuruodo.
Crah'systor'nuruodo was the only child of Pohsk'apforian'nuruodo (Pohian) and his wife. Crah'systor'nuruodo was born into the noble Nuruodo ruling family of the Chiss Ascendancy. Crahstor was born on the planet of Csilla's capital city of Csaplar.
When Crahstor was three, his father, Pohian, was given a spot among the Chiss Council of Families. It was an honor to be granted this, as only one member of each of the ruling families would become part of the Council. Crahstor and his family moved into House Palace, with the other Aristrocras of the Chiss.
It was there in House Palace, where Crahstor would be taught both in the ways of warfare as well as diplomacy. As the Nuruodo family was given the task of controlling both Military and Foreign affairs, those two skills were important for a young Chiss born into the Nuruodos.
When Crahstor was six, Pohian hired a grizled Chiss Admiral from the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force (CEDF) named Hesst'kevstarz'juororo (Hesstar). Taking into account Crahstor's young age, Hesstar put Crahstor into a mild training regiment. The Chiss were a warrior race, and each young Chiss was to be taught the art of war before the age of twelve.
When Crahstor was eight, and after training with Hesstar for two years, a new teacher was introduced to Crahstor. He was part of the Household Phalanxes, a paramilitary group of guards loyal to the aristocratic Ruling Families. He was Fenar'klaskar'hestaran (Fenaran). Crahstor barely had any free time to himself, from learning diplomacy from Pohian, to learing the basics of starfighters and ships from Hesstar, to basic melee and ranged combat from Fenaran.
For three more years this continued, until when Crahstor was eleven, Hesstar was dismissed from his service by Pohian for reasons undisclosed to Crahstor. In reality, Hesstar was preparing to leave on a campaign with the CEDF, and could no longer train Crahstor. Crahstor was at first angry at Hesstar's sudden departure, but eventually came to realize that like all Chiss, Hesstar's service to Csilla was far more important than any individual commitment.
Then Pohian enlisted the help of an aging ex-pilot Chiss male named Nuvark'ilsart'povara (Nuvarka). Nuvarka picked up teaching Crahstor where Hesstar left off. Crahstor continued the endless training from his three teachers (Pohian, Fenaran, and Nuvarka) for another four years, until he was fifteen.
When Crahstor was fifteen, Nuvarka decided Crahstor was old enough to actually learn to fly a ship. For the past nine years, both Hesstar and Nuvarka only taught Crahstor the ins-and-outs of a ship, they never actually allowed him to fly one until now. Crahstor would be flying an outdated Chiss transport vessel that bore the wounds from many battles. This was just so Crahstor could learn to fly a ship, Nuvarka intened no other use for the vessel.
Crahstor took the vessel up above the icy planet's surface, and was doing reasonably well, until the console started to rapidly beep and Nuvarka was hurridly yelling instructions to Crahstor. Crahstor tried to follow Nuvarka's instructions, but to no avail. The ship plummeted into Csilla's icy surface. Crahstor barely conscious pulled the unconcious and injured Nuvarka from the wreckage and then tried to drag him away from the crash site. Crahstor had gotten no more than ten feet from the ruined ship, before he himself collapsed to ground, unconscious.
Crahstor woke up two days later in the hospital ward of House Palace, and immediatly asked what had happened. Pohian informed Crahstor that the ship had it's engines malfunction. It appeared that Nuvarka, for reasons known only to himself, hadn't given the ship a proper inspection and the ships engines failed soon after take-off. Two days after Crahstor woke up, he was allowed to leave the hospital ward, and return to his usual activities. It was Crahstor, while racked with anger, who demanded Nuvarka be exiled. Even when Nuvarka came to House Palace and pleaded with Crahstor to rethink it, Crahstor coldly denied his request.
Nuvarka then began to insist he had given the ship a proper inspection. Nevertheless, he was relieved of his duties and was exiled to an unihabited planet. Whether or not Nuvarka was telling the truth, was of no consequence, he was up against one of the ruling families of Csilla, and of course he lost. After losing both Hesstar and Nuvarka, this officially ended Crahstor's ship training outside of the military. That is to say, he would no longer train with ships until he enlisted in CEDF.
For three years after the incident, Crahstor continued to learn under Pohian and Fenaran, until the eve of his eighteenth birthday. It was then, that he decided to enlist in the CEDF as a Recruit. He was sent aboard a Chiss corvette, which was coincidentally under the command of Admiral Hesst'kevstarz'juororo, or Admiral Hesstar. Crahstor was excited when he found out he was under the command of his old teacher. The first few years under Admiral Hesstar proved to be uneventful, except for one incident. When Crahstor was twenty-three, he was promoted to Crewman, after serving aboard Hesstar's Corvette for four years.
One day when Crahstor was twenty-four, a group of Tof ships that had miscalculated their hyperspace jump, and appeared before Hesstar's Corvette. Hesstar immediatly sent out Chiss fighters to intercept the Tof ships. One of the pilots he sent out was Crahstor. Crahstor was the second highest-ranking offical among the Chiss interception force, only outshined by Petty Officer Otarv'unlif'lorvaz (Otarvaz).
Otarvaz led the group, and intended them to encircle the Tof ships, and force them to surrender or be destroyed. Crahstor had heard of these Tofs from old hologram recordings from the vast library in Csaplar. The Tofs were a warrior race, much like thw Chiss, and occasionally ended up in Chiss space. The Tofs occasionally forced Chiss interception fleets after them, but usually avoided confrontation with the Chiss. Crahstor judging knew the Tofs wouldn't surrender. When he tried to relay this to Otarvaz via comlink, Otarvaz just ignored him.
Otarvaz ordered the Chiss starfights to cut off the Tofs and encircle them, makin retreat impposible for the Tofs. Crahstor was at the end of the circle, behind the Tof vessels. Crahstor heard Otarvaz come onto the comlink, and Otarvaz told the Tofs to surrender. The Tofs only reply to Otarvaz's demand, was to fire on the line of Chiss ships facing the Tof vessels. The first one hit was Otarvaz's which instantly exploded. Seeing Otarvaz's vessel explode, left Crahstor in charge of the remaining Chiss fighters.
Crahstor ordered the ships to return to the Corvette, and then he commed Hesstar's corvette, and asked them to supress the Tof vessels long enough so the Chiss starships could return to the vessel. Hesstar agreed and then after the Chiss vessels exchanged fire with the Tof vessels for a few minutes, the loud guns on Hesstar's Corvette came to life, and almost instantly destroyed two Tof vessels. Using this distraction, Crahstor escorted the Chiss starfighters back into the Corvette's hangar bay.
The Chiss Corvette eventually destroyed or routed all the Tof vessels, and then returned to Csilla. It was there on Csilla that the CEDF commanders, mainly people appointed by the Nuruodo family, looked favorably on Crahstor after his actions against the Tofs. They appointed him with the rank of Petty Officer. Making him the only person in the entire CEDF to be promoted after only a year since his last promotion.
With this promotion came new responsibilities. Some of Crahstor's duties were training new recruits aboard Hesstar's Corvette. It was grunt work, but Crahstor acccepted his new duties and did them to the best of his abilities for four years. When Crahstor was twenty-eight, he was promoted to the rank of Ensign. Crahstor still was expected to train new arrivals aboard the corvette, but at least now he was moving up in the ranks.
It was three months after the promotion that he married his longtime girlfriend named Mitth'ustarva'lewon (Mittha). For a few months Crahstor and Mittha were happy, but his hectic military schedule strained the marriage. And after only seven months of marriage, Crahstor and Mittha seperated. Crahstor would never marry again. Instead, devoting his time to his beloved career in the military.
Only five months after his split-up with Mittha, his ship was sent on a routine patrol mission around Csilla and the surrounding areas. It was a routine patrol and not much happened, and they returned to Csilla where Crahstor found out that his father had died from the Csillian Hytrosopian Virus, which greatly weakened his body over the past few years.
During those years, Crahstor had tried to do as much as he could for Pohian while he deteriorated before Crahstor's eyes. Crahstor greatly respected and loved his father, and knowing hre would be dying soon, wanted to make his last few years as comfortable as he could. Occasionally, when Pohian wasn't feeling up to conversing with the other Aristocras, he would send Crahstor in his place. Crahstor was amazed by how smoothly the Aristocras could speak. It was during those times when Crahstor filled in for Pohian, that he studied the movements and mannerisms of the Aristocras.
With Pohian's death, the Nuruodo family was without a leader in the Chiss Council of Families. There were two choices, Crahstor or Pohian's only surviving brother, Ch'trastae'nuruodo (Chrataen). It would have gone to Chrataen had Crahstor not stepped up and accepted the position. With him gaining a spot in the Council of Familes, Crahstor resigned from the CEDF with the rank of Ensign. Little did Crahstor know, he was about to rejoin the military very soon.
In 3617 BBY, About three years after Crahstor became a member of the Council of Families, a Sith warship exited hyperspace. They were searching for territory in the Unknown Regions, which was rumored to have contained unsettled planets containg valuable materials. Since the Nuruodo family was responsible for both military and diplomatic affairs on Chiss, Crahstor decided to negotiate with the Sith himself. The Sith Captain, a man by the name of Tustar Killinsen, looking to find out all he could about Crahstor before he met with him, requested any files the Chiss government had on Crahstor. Seeing as most of the politicians on Chiss were corrupt, they handed over Crahstor's military file for the sum of two dozen of the Sith's starfighters. Killinsen outsmarted the corrupt Chiss and gave them two dozen starfighters that had any kind of problem that made them unsafe for usage. The politicians greedily accepted their payment without so much as checking the starfighters.
Crahstor took a shuttle to the Sith warship stationed just above the planet, with only six bodyguards. Immediatly upon docking in the warship's Hanger Bay, Crahstor was met by Captain Killensen requested a meeting with Crahstor. Crahstor agreed, and Killensen took him to his private chambers where he conversed with Crahstor about joining the Sith Navy. The Chiss consider themselves to be above every other race, and in the past few months Crahstor had begun to see exactly what money was doing to his people. He was disgusted by how the Chiss commanders were favoring money and weapons over loyalty.
Crahstor had been planning for a while to leave Csilla and try his luck elsewhere, probably making him the only Chiss to do so. Though when the Sith ship came out of hyperspace, Crahstor saw an oppourtunity to leave the planet he once cherished, while it was turning into a planet of a "Lesser" species. That is to say, turning into a planet like all the rest in the Republic, something the Chiss have never done.
Captain Killensen was happy, and Crahstor told Killensen he couldn't honorably leave his position. So, Crahstor decided to engineer his own downfall. Killensen allowed Crahstor to leave his ship with a gift, a comlink that connects directly to his (Killensen's) comlink. Crahstor returned to Csilla, and had the Nuruodo Household Phalanxes, assault a Chiss weapons manufacturing plant. Crahstor lead the assault and was captured near the end of the raid by the Colonial Phalanxes, or the militias guarding the Chiss colony worlds.
Crahstor was sentenced to the traditional Chiss punishment of exile on an uninhabited world. He was put aboard a prison vessel with the surviving members of the Nuruodo Household Phalanxes, and left the surface of Csilla. Once in the sky, Crahstor retrieved the masterfully hidden comlink Killensen had given him, and contacted the Captain. Captain Killinsen had his warship assault the prison vessel and he had his troopers storm it, rescuing Crahstor and Crahstor's men.
Crahstor was brought aboard Killensen's vessel and was taken to a Sith Training Facility on Muunilist. Crahstor was treated cruelly by the other recruits at the academy because he was a non-human. These constant taunts and criticisms only made Crahstor work twice as hard, to prove himself to the other soldiers at the Academy. This earned the attention of the higher ups for his resiliency and determination. Crahstor was trained in that facility for four years, and got promoted twice during that time. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant at the age of thirty-four, and then got promoted to Line Captain at the age of thirty-six.
After his promotion to Line Captain, he left Muunilist and returned to active duty aboard now Commodore Killensen's flag ship. Crahstor and Killensen had a rather uneventful reign the first three years aboard Killensen's vessel. About four years after going under the command of Killensen, Killensen's ship "The Fury" came under attack during a patrol in Hutt space by a group of Heavily-armed and fool-hardy Pirates working for an ex-Sith Pilot named Jeuvar Lokar, a ruthless and sadistic man. Jeuvar saw a Sith warship, and saw a big payday of weapons and starfighters.
Jeuvar even though knowing his life would be forfeit if the raid on the Sith ship failed, decided to carry it out anyways. Jeuvar's men were relentless, constantly firing on Killensen's vessel, weaking it's shields with every blast that successfully hit. Killensen eventually told Crahstor to lead a squadron of Sith fighters against the Pirate forces. Crahstor agreed and with three dozen Sith fighters, engaged the dozen fighters of Jeuvar. After a fierce space battle and after losing thirteen of his fighters, Crahstor and his men with support from Killensen's vessel, routed the Pirate force.
Returning to "The Fury" and then returned to Muunilist, to report about the battle. The Sith leaders on Muunilist, were glad that Crahstor and Killensen had beat the Pirates while suffering minimal casualties. Also, they promoted Killensen to Admiral and Crahstor to Commodore. With his promotion, Crahstor was given a small blockade runner, which he dubbed "The Fury II." Crahstor forskaed "The Fury II" in favor of "The Fury" except in the most dire situations when a small, speedy vessel was needed.
For three years after that, Crahstor and Killensen patrolled the galaxy, eliminating many Pirates and Mercenary vessels that proved to be a threat to the Sith and their power. When Crahstor was fourty-four, Killensen retired from the Sith navy at the age of sixty-seven. With Killensen's retirement, Crahstor was promoted to Killensen's old position, that of Rear Admiral.
Crahstor was given control over "The Fury" which he renamed "The Hydra." For two more years, Crahstor and "The Hydra" patrolled the galaxy doing the bidding of the Sith aristocrats. About two-years-and-six-months of loyal service and many victories later, Crahstor was called back to Muunilist where he was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral. With the promotion, Crahstor left Muunilist once again, and returned to searching the galaxy for any threat to the power of the Sith Empire, with a group of loyal bodyguards, by his side.

Crahstor sat in his private chambers aboard his flagship "The Hydra" when his HoloNet Transciever began to beep. Crahstor activated it, and the hologram of Breskat Invarot, the leader of Crahstor's personal bodyguards, sprang to life. Breskat bowed low and said "Crah'systor'nuruodo, someone named Grand Admiral Hules Yovast wishes to speak to you. I have cleared him already, would you like me to send him in?"
Crahstor nodded and then added "How many times do I have to tell you Breskat, to call me by my Core Name of Crahstor." Breskat bowed low again and said "I shall send him in immediatly. And I apologize Crahstor."
The hologram of Breskat dissapeared and Crahstor stood up and smoothed out his uniform. The blast doors opened and Grand Admiral Yovast entered the room. Crahstor saluted Yovast, and Yovast saluted Crahstor with a smile. "Vice Admiral Crahstor" began Yovast "I have heard that you and your crew fare well. The reason I am here is to give you a mission. The mission is simple, I need you and your ship to travel to Bespin and converse with the Mining Guild to increase the flow of Tibbana Gas to us. It's quite simple, do you accept?"
Crahstor stood silent and emotionless while Yovast talked, and then when he had finished, Crahstor nodded and said "Of course I accept. When do you need me to leave?" Yovast scratched his chin and said "As soon as I leave your vessel. I don't expect an immediate reply from either you or the Guild, just report to me in intervals and tell me how your progress goes."
Crahstor nodded, and then saluting Yovast replied "As you wish Grand Admiral." Yovast saluted Crahstor again and then turned on his heel and walked out, the blast doors closing behind him. Grand Admiral Yovast returned to his shuttle and saw Field Marshal Novest Lokari sitting down waiting for him. When Lokari saw Yovast enter the shuttle, he stood up and asked "Well, how is he?"
Yovast smiled and replied "This one is constantly thinking, analyzing, strategizing. He showed no fear, but was curious, studying me in turn." Field Marshal Lokari nodded, and smiling himself replied "That's good. We need more men like him." Yovast sat down and said "Agreed." Yovast's shuttle rose up and exited "The Hydra."
Crahstor was back sitting behind his desk, when his comlink began to beep. Unhooking it from his belt, pressed the talk button and said "What is it?" Breskat's voice came on again and said "Grand Admiral Yovast's shuttle has left. Where shall we head?" Crahstor anwsered immediatly "Bespin. I have a job there." Breskat's reply was simple "As you wish." then the line went blank. Crahstor placed the comlink back on his belt, and then relaxing in his chair he smiled. He was given an important mission.
