All righties, this here is a new category for your monthly voting.


Basically this is your chance to recognize whichever character you believe was epitomizing SWU the past month. A character who seemed to be everywhere at once. Or a character who was especially influential.

[For now, this is just for characters in general, but if this new thread goes well, it may be expanded to male and female character of the month, Force user and non-Force user of the month or something similar to that.]



REMEMBER: This is just for active characters who went above and beyond in the month of FEBRUARY, so think back!
PS: You cannot vote for whoever won the previous month (January's winner = Locke Nemsee).


BRIEF RULES:

- Since this is for characters, not members, and is also for a specific time period, the character you are voting for has to have been active during the month of voting. And by active, I would say at least FOUR (4) posts within that month.

- Also, along with your reason, if you would like to link to a specific thread or post, you may do so.

Reason for voting/example of why this character is awesome: I knew instantly that this was the character I would vote for from the day she was accepted. Aoife is a one of a kind character, a Jedi who fell on the job, and not out of greed or lust, but out of duty to the Republic and to the Jedi. Her story really is a heartbreaking one in her time away from the Order, and is a read that everyone should check out.

Reason for voting/example of why this character is awesome: Alright, I don't know how I forgot to do this at the beginning of the month, but better late than never. Now, Ruck has quickly become one of my favorite characters on this site. The brilliance of the character doesn't lie in his complexity, because as far as I can tell, he's not really complex, nor does it lie in how powerful he is, though he'll be one hell of a fighter when he starts fighting; rather, what I love about Ruck is how amazingly, mind-numbingly stupid he is. It's great! He's so funny, and he's really become one of the few characters that I really, genuinely look forward to for a post with. He's great fun.

Reason for voting/example of why this character is awesome: I've finally had the pleasure of getting or two posts in with Talau's Aunna and I thoroughly enjoy it. She's a very thoughtful character with a fun history and trials obviously put forth ahead. She's stalwart and simply fun to RP with.

Reason: Twi'leks are hawt, plain and simple. Mara, however, can play Looma without revving up the sex appeal, which is cool. All around, little Miss Looma is concentrated awesome.

Reason for voting/example of why this character is awesome: This character in gist is just one of those characters you look at, and wonder how someone made them. They're a mix of intrigue, and humour in him if only because it sort of a mystery as to what he'll do next. I've read a few of his threads, and I'm personally a big fan of not only him, but also the race which he was made from. He's just a very fun character to read, and I fully back the idea of him being a CotM.
