1. You have to vote on a current RP thread. No OOC, parody or practice duels please! Blast from the Past threads DO count!

2. The thread must have been posted in actively or started during the month that you're voting for (FEBRUARY).

3. The thread that won the previous month, cannot be voted for (The Amazing Race - Alderaan)


Voting Rules:

1. You are allowed to nominate up to THREE different threads. Yes, that's right. So if you can't choose between two, then nominate both!

2. You allowed to vote for a thread one of your characters is currently involved in
ONLY IF...
--- There at at least 3 others posting in the thread besides yourself
AND
--- You also nominate another thread that you do not participate in.

You reason for voting: I cannot tell you how long I've waited for March to come so I can vote for this xDD

Anyway, to quote Mr. Plinkett from his review on why the duel at the end of The Phantom Menace sucked (which is part of a review of the whole movie that is very entertaining), "Lightsaber duels have less to do with the fight itself, but more with the internalization of the characters." And, though it may just be me who thinks it, Otter and WWFF both get that. They've got so much more going on in this fight than wildly swinging their lightsabers and throwing things at each other, and it adds so much to the fight. Of course, the do have some really awesome things going on as far as the fight is concerned, but there's so much more to the fight than that. Definitely worth the read if you've not read it.

You reason for voting: WWFF and Otterling are two of SWU's best writers, hands down. Add in one of the most sadistic sunavabetch ever, and a great example of the Jedi, and you get a duel that has had me reading every post there is in it. I've read this thread three times now, and STILL love it. Like Rugs said, if you haven't read this yet, you gots issues :3

You reason for voting: I found the idea behind the thread incredibly interesting and that along with three of SWU's best writers has made it a thread I've read over and over. The Attention to detail, the location and the characters present make it a must read.

Every day I read a good thread or two on this site, I look at them, and go 'Wow, this is really just amazing,' but I mean that's the par for this site. It takes something spectacular to really catch my attention, and make me want to read it over and over. Two Steps from Hell is one of those threads, and I think it really deserves this award! I wasn't going to vote or nominate anything this month 'cause I'm pretty new, but I think the plot, characters, and general mood of it merits the vote.
