Post First Battle of Concord Dawn A few days have passed since the battle came to a close and most of the minor medical injuries dealt to both sides have been treated. Cay Severn ordered the Republican POWs to be held up in a separate tent and guarded until all of their injuries could be healed. Then, to further cause confusion to the Senate and how they should proceed with the increasing hostilities Cay Severn and the Mandalorians bore towards them, he sent the disarmed Republicans back to another base on Concord Dawn. On a more militaristic view the battle allowed Clan Tyran a foothold on Concord Dawn and much like what happened on Mandalore all surrounding societies began to contribute to the manpower of Mandalorians. Any casualties the Mandalorians suffered were already replaced and troop count has been increased by half of what the initial number of troops were, though most of though most of those new troops are rather inexperienced. Cay Severn has set up tents in and around the former Republic base making use of the supplies in the Storehouse to sustain the troops while looking at possible actions that he and the Mandalorians can take.

Solus'ad walked casually through the Mandalorian camp. The republic base was still warm with smoke and the occasional fire that would spring up from the smoldering rubble. He smiled at the sight.
The part he had played in the fall of the republic base on Concord Dawn, gave him a warm feeling inside that reminded him of when he was a child. Yet, here he was. Light years away, and here he was. Years older, caught up in possibly the greatest event of his life time. He tightenned the Mandalorian Armor he wore and reminded himself to find the quarter master on the premises so he could be re-issued a new helmet.
After the battle had ended he had gone to find his old helmet. It rested amongst the dead bodies of his comrades and enemies. It had struck him how peaceful they looked lieing there amongst one another.
But now was not the time for such thoughts. He had nearly forgotten why he had left the medical tent in the first place. He needed to find Mandalore. Now that the battle was over his previous order now stood again. He was to stand at Mandalore's side, if he needed him.

(let me just sneak back in here)
Cay walked along the dirt paths with a small squad of elite Mandalorians with him. He had done this about every other day for about the entire three weeks that they had been setting up camp in the Republic debris. Reinforcements from Mandalore had already arrived rejuvenating the tired troops. It wasn't that Cay could have ordered another move, or begun a campaign, rather he was considering. The very last thing he wanted to do was to push the Republic too far and force them to go into an all out war. He would at least need a few months with Mandalore, Concord Dawn, and Mygeeto completely under his control.
Cay sighed as he watched a couple of Gizka hop by after croaking a couple times. Cay made a note to mark off how far they could go before reaching hostile territory. As Cay thought he resolved that there would be no better time to attack the Republic, of course it would be under the guise of "Liberating Mandalorians".
As Cay returned to the base he went into his tent to review the situation. It had been three entire weeks since Mandalore and the Mandalorians took the Republic base, no, that wouldn't be appropriate, more appropriate to say that they "destroyed" the base. And for those three weeks the Mandalorian force had sat idle, continuing their training. Their numbers were bolstered by reinforcements and supplies, including a number of transport vessels for quick movement through air and a couple of All terrain transports, from Mandalore, the one base on the planet was still receiving angered refugees who were escaping Republic oppression every day and more than eager to give their lives to see those pigs burn. On Concord Dawn the result of the Republic Bases destruction had a much more powerful impact. Intense riots had broken out in major cities as they heard news that the Karatos, the resistance that they had called their saviors, had joined with the Mandalorians. These riots were sapping the man power that Republic forces had guarding bases.
Now looking at things the Republic originally had three main bases that they officially called Republic territory. Other troops slept in Concord Dawn's cities and towns, and had offices in said places. If Cay could manage to wrest those bases from the Republic, hopefully in better shape than the one his tent was camped in front of, then he could issue a request to have the Republic Soldiers evacuated from Concord Dawn. If the Mandalorian supporting Senators were strong enough such a request could possibly be granted, and if that was the case Cay could use that momentum to make a follow up request for Mandalore.
Now if all that went well then he could sit on those two planets and train troops until he felt he was ready to strike out to form the Mandalorian Empire again. But first things first, he had to organize the troops to make a double headed strike out from this position. For that he would need someone to lead the troops on the other front, and for that he could only think of one person. He had proven himself loyal enough, and if Cay put Kain under Solus'ad he could get a good look at how able he was. Cay would take Dante with him to duke it out with the Republic to take their other stronghold.
Send a runner to retrieve Solus'ad, Kain, and Dante for me, we have business to discuss.
Right away Mandalore!

Mandalorian Camp: Shooting Range
Solus'ad took silent aim with his newly issued carbine and waited for the targetting reticle on his helmet visor to line up. It seemed to waver and move around excessively, which caused him to growl softly to himself. With an icy determination he pulled the trigger and watched as the blast missed the target by about 3 meters down range. His Armor made a dull clunking sound as he moved into a Kneeling position and made some minor adjustments to his Helmet and the weapons targetting system.
"Solus'ad"
Solus'ad heard his name spoken behind him in the distictively Concordian lilt. He turned his head slightly to the side and looked through the corner of his Visor.
"Mandalore summons you."
Solus'ad recognized the badge on the young mans shoulder marking him as a runner. He must have been a new recruit, on his first assignment.
Slowly he stood up and slung his Carbine, adjusted his armor for a moment and silently took up a quick cadenced march along side the runner as he turned to take him before Mandalore.
After a minute of silence, the runner spoke up.
"Is it true you took the first turret on your own Sir?" The reverent sound in the young mans voice told Solus'ad all he needed to know.
After a moment of akward silence Solus'ads gravelly voice came over his mic. "Tion Solet Simir Ko-pah-ganar Ade?" (How old are you boy?) He casually asked, his boots clumping along the ferocrete grounds of the Former Republic Base. The young man had to concentrate visibly on deciphering Solus'ads Mandoa, but had understood the question.
"I'm 22 Galactic Standard sir." He said with a look of curious confusion on his face.
"Gehat'ik move faster than truths vod." His gravelly voice came over his communicator as they came within site of Mandalore's war tent. The runner halted and gave Solus'ad a salute by touching his fist to his chest. Solus'ad returned it. As the young man was walking away he called out to him. "Pare!" (Wait)
Without skipping a beat he dropped into Basic.
"Their names were Dunoch, Andus, Coloch, and Muas. All but two of us fell. Honor their glorious deaths with your drink and song this evening. They deserve it more than I." Solus'ad's voice came cold over his communicator.
As the Runner digested his words Solus'ad turned with a grinding sound and walked past Mandalore's Honor Guard and into the presence of his Leader. Slowly he took his position before Mandalore and adopted a position of Attention, and awaited Mandalore's words.

It's been some time since we've made any actions, and I believe that time must come to an end. While I haven't completely seen your full potential I am giving you another test of ability.
Cay's tone was gentle as he spoke, he ran his hand through his hair as if thinking. The breeze came through the fabric in his tent and he could feel the chill it gave to the atmosphere. Finally Cay did something he knew Mandalore could never do, mostly because he was always hidden in a mask, Cay smiled.
You are going to lead the attack on the western Republic base. We dividing our forces in two, while keeping a small troop here. We occupy what remains of the northern base, I'll be going to the Eastern Base, and you to the Western one. Of course I'll send Kain overlook your actions, but do not get me wrong when I say that, you will be the one calling the shots. In the end I want the Western base under your control, preferably intact.

Solus'ad listenned with quiet resolve. His eyes followed Mandlore's movements through his visor, though only the slightest nod of his head denoted attention.
When Mandalore finished it occured to Solus'ad the great honor in which he'd been bestowed. He bowed his head in an almost solemn fashion for the briefest of moments, then almost like a cold whisper his voice came over his mic.
"Ni'ijaat Ni Mand'alor..." (You honor me Mandalore.)
Then with a snap swift and clean, Solus'ad brought his fist to his chest with an armored clap, saluteing Mandalore.
"Sa Mand'alor vercopa!" (As Mandalore Wishes!)"I will await Kain's message." Solus'ad said in Galactic Basic.
Solus'ad then about faced and set about gathering men and materials for a special mission.
Special. Solus'ad thought to himself with a an almost loving sentiment.
