I like to think of myself as a writer, not just in the forum posting sense, but also in the sense that I'd like to write novels for a living. I've already finished three drafts of one novel and am working pretty hard on another. I'm also trying to update these blurbs, since they'll be the paragraph or so on the back cover or inside the back flap; you know, the stuff that gets you to look inside the book
I also know a lot of people on this forum read sci-fi/fantasy novels. So, I figure I'll post a few things and see what you think. First is my dystopian science fiction novel, which has three finished drafts.
Next comes my urban science fiction (like The Dresden Files, only using scifi elements instead of fantasy). It's the first book in a series I'd like to write called The Golden Hollow.
If you have any comments, you can post them here or PM me. If you think you might want to read a chapter or two and try one of the books out, let me know and we'll get something set up.

Vitamin F
Bridgett was adjusting to life in college, becoming interested in a young woman named Penelope. Flirtations like theirs had become common since the genetic crash made the population 88% female.
Random genetic scans, registering males, laboratory fertilization—Genetic Security had become the way of the world. It was the only way to secure the gene pool from destruction.
Bridgett's life was her own. Her genes, like everyone else's, were state property.
It was only a matter of time until someone came to collect.

Mind & Machine
To take on the conspiracy that experimented on him, Telepathic Subject 837—Commander—set aside his name, his life, and his identity. When he took his battle into the open, he didn't count on escalation on the part of the insane cyborg Der Former. Nor did he count on Der Former knowing his only real weakness—his unrequited love for a woman named Kathryn.
In order to survive, Commander will have to face things he hasn't ever imagined. Libraries filled with histories that haven't happened yet, monsters made with forgotten technology, ancient feuds between secret societies, not to mention the conspirators he's already attacked.
But to stop Der Former, he might have to give up his quest for vengeance and any chance he might have with Kathryn.
