In Tskarian Culture, the Derilic-Tskarians are the smarter and more cunning and as such they rule Tskarian culture as the political and religious leaders. Meanwhile, the Corivack-Tskarians, being larger, more blood thirsty, and rather dumber than the Derilic-Tskarians. Because of this, the Corivack-Tskarians are the military backbone of Tskarian culture. Unlike the Derilic-Tskarians, the Corivack-Tskarians roam in nomadic packs and only remain in one spot, when they are part of an active military.
The class separation in Tskarian culture is easily determined. On the very top, is the “Tskar Chosen” or “Tskar’invask” in the Old Tskarian language. The Tskar Chosen, are the nobility who claim descent from Tskar the Brave. The Tskar Chosen are the ruling clan on New Tskar, with Tskar VIII as the King of the Reorganized and Reformed Tskarian Empire. Underneath the Tskar Chosen, are the priests, called “Prevorak Toriskar Huulast Tskar” meaning “Prophet Priests of Tskar” in the Old Tskarian Language.
Underneath the priests, are the teachers, called “Torivalke” which means “Knowledge Holders” in the Old Tskarian Language. The Torivalkes are almost as highly praised in Tskarian society as the Tskar Chosen. Beneath the Torivalke, are the military members, or “Mitisk Forisak Tskarian”, literally meaning “Tskarian Force of Defense” in the Old Tskarian Language. The Mitisk Forisak Tskarian, comprises of almost the entire population of Corivack-Tskarians.
Beneath the military, are the farmers, tradesmen, and other skilled workers called “Worisicik Tskar” which means “Workers of Tskar” in the Old Tskarian Language. The workers are mainly poor, and living in Ragon, but they receive a much warmer welcome than the “Slavisk” which roughly translates as “Slaves” in the Old Tskarian Language.
At the bottom of Tskarian society, are the Slavisk. The Slavisk or “Slaves” are a group of undesirables, Prisoners of War, and victims of Tskarian Slave Raiders. The Slavisk are forced to serve cruel and often neglectful rich Derilic-Tskarian masters. The Slavisk are the scum of Tskarian society and are spit upon by every class above them.
In Tskarian society, women are expected to remain in the house and care for the children, while the males go out and earn a living. The Tskarians, who has the Force flowing in their veins, are a Force-worshipping species, whose priests perform many barbaric and cruel rituals, such as the Tskarian “Black Ritual for the Retrieval of Force”, which translates as “Blackh Naiztkl’gretzxacrk” in Old Tskarian. The Black Ritual involves priests kidnapping an unsuspecting Tskarian Slavisk and using ancient techniques known only to the Tskarians, and sucking the Force energy from the victim until he or she is dead.
History:
The History of the Tskarian Species dates back to well before the foundation of the Republic. The Planet of origin of the Tskarian species, Orovare II, was conquered by the Infinite Empire and was enslaved. Upon the fall of the Infinite Empire, the Derilic-Tskarians, then simply called the Orovarians began to experiment with some of the equipment left behind by the Infinite Empire, and about 1,000 Years before the founding of the Republic, Warlord Tskar the Brave, led a fleet of Orovarian Ships and began to conquer many of the planets left in ruin by the Infinite Empire. Thus the Tskarian Empire, named after Tskar the Brave, was established.
The Empire flourished for five hundred years, and collapsed under the rule of Emperor Tskar III (called “The Unworthy”), and as such, the Orovarians returned to obscurity. When Orovare II was conquered by a Republic fleet, about one hundred years after the foundation of the Republic, the Republic renamed Orovare II, Tskar I, after discovering an ancient Orovarian Holocron that told of a “Tskarian Empire.” And as such, the Orovarians were renamed Tskarians after this mistake by the Republic. The Republic never realized that Tskar was really a leader, not the name of the Species. Regardless, the name stuck and they have been known as Tskarians ever since.
For about twenty thousand years, the Tskarian Species thrived under the Republic, at least until the Jedi Civil War. When Revan reemerged, the Tskarian species were forced to flee Tskar I as it was destroyed by the Sith Armada under Revan and Malak. The Tskarians fled to a smaller but equal in life supporting capabilities, the moon was called Draconis VI, later renamed New Tskar or “Tskar III”. Once on the moon, the Tskarians established the city of Skolir, and then once Skolir was firmly built and the Tskarian species were back on their feet they seceded from the Galactic Republic.
It appeared soon after their arrival, that New Tskar, with its different environment, produced a new breed of Tskarians. This new breed was larger, more blood thirsty, and rather stupider than the newly dubbed “Derilic-Tskarians” (Derilic is a Tskarian word meaning “Original”). As such, the Derilic-Tskarians became the Leaders of the Tskarian government and planetary affairs. While the new breed, dubbed Corivack-Tskarian, or more simply Tskarian-Minors, (Corivack is a Tskarian word meaning “New”).
The Corivack-Tskarians were forced from Skolir by the Derilic-Tskarians who would then establish the second city of Ragon, which attracted those poorer Tskarians who could not afford the prices of Skolir. So as such, within months of its completion, Ragon was a heavily populated and poor city on New Tskar. Two years after the building and colonization of Ragon, the Jedi came to New Tskar, and earning the favor of the Derilic-Tskarians, were allowed to build a temple on New Tskar, in the city of Skolir. Skolir is also home to Tsku Spaceport, a massive spaceport where one can buy anything from Spice to Slaves. The Derilic-Tskarians favor and support the Republic and because of this, so do the Corivack-Tskarians.
