((okay buddy, a few things. xD As appealing as a leisurely duel sounds, I think that I'd rather have my opponent going all out. Now, you will probably destroy me 'cause I am relatively new to the whole duel scene, but this is what the practice is for. ^_^ One other thing: since this is an OOC type event, I didn't ask for permission to use other people's characters (in mention). If anyone has a problemo with it pm me.))
Regret. It whirled around like a hurricane in the woman's heart as she sat on the caldera of a massive volcano. A constant super-hot blast of air burned at the few patches of exposed skin on her frame. She could feel the warmth in her eyes even as they sat closed in her sockets, she could feel the sting of sulfur in her nose, yet... it couldn't compare to the sting of remorse within her person.
Her black-clad body sat litterally on the very edge of the caldera in the crosslegged position, just begin her to throw herself into the mult-thousand degree rock below. Rhissai tried. She really did. But something within her, some primal thought process, did not allow her to roll her weight forwards. Perhaps it was the thought of the skin melting off of her very bones that stopped her from committing the act? No. She has never been a coward... and won't start now.
She was a fool, however, the woman should have remembered what it was like to exact revenge. It did little for her, and for poor Keilara, all it did was cast her down to the Dark Side and leave a man and his entire family as little more than a memory. Yet, they deserved it. All of them. Their father was the one that slew her poor padawan, and he deserved to see them die before his very eyes.
Just like they made her padawan die before hers.
Then she felt it. A powerful, yet familiar presence entered the very fringes of her awareness. No doubt this was a Jedi who had come for her head, or her lightsaber. This man would have neither, and while she no doubt deserved death... she would not hand over her life so easily. The heated black cloth warmed the tan flesh of her skin as she stood up and turned around so that the very heels of her feet were on the precipice of the volcano. Waves of heat shimmered behind her robed form, and the black balaclava covered up her entire face... save a slit for those brilliant green eyes of hers.
The hot bits of obsidian gravel displaced from the woman's weight as she stepped forwards towards this threat. Her hand laced across the cylindrical form of White Fang, her long trusted lightsaber, and she yanked it off of its clip. A low malevolent telepathic wave of thoughts rippled out of the woman's mind, which would be the equivalent of a low growl, as the presence grew ever nearer. This presence seemed to be unperturbed by the almost feral growl that eminated from her, and once it was within earshot she called out.
"Turn back."
Her request was simple. Therefore, her words were simple. She felt no need to elaborate any further, and if this entity was wise it would turn back and bother her no longer.

(OoC: For lack of confusion, should prolly change your thread name to Jetfire now But anyway, your post is written beautifully, a few of the words I wasn't familiar with caldera being one. But hey, learn something new everyday. Another couple things I noticed is you kind of tripped over your own words once or twice. But since I can't seem to find them now, it's prolly just my brain tweaking from the painkillers I'm on XDDD On another note, I was thinking what with this plot we're all working on, I almost started to use Balax for this XD But no, I'll post, but just for next time, might wanna explain a bit more how our Rhissy got in this situation. I think I vaguely know from stuff we've discussed, but detail is your friend. How did she get here? Where is she? Why is she there? etc etc.) Rhissai...Large golden eyes looked up at the lone figure at the maw of the volcano- an old friend and ally. When she sent a wave of the Force at him, the elder Jedi simply waved it aside with a Force wave of his own. "You know me better than that Rhissai. When have I ever turned my back on you or anyone else for that matter?" Said Sage Master Ozzril Ackbar. He had been away from the Temple when the Council had contacted him with what had happened, but only given very vague details. As the closest council member to her, he had been dispatched to find out exactly what happened- and to bring her back. His robes tugged hotly at his body as he tried to stay as far from the heat as he could, his body naturally needing to stay moist and the volcano did not help. Of all the people that had to be sent here, it had to be him. Calling upon the Force for support, Ozzril drew what moisture there was in the air into his skin, the cooling relief spreading over his body. He held a hand out to his old friend and gestured for her to step down away from the edge and take his hand. "Come m'dear, let's talk, so much has happened since I've been away..."Ozzril said, his voice hinted with concern for his old friend. He turned his left eye towards Rhissai, a look of concern in his weary eye. (Sorry if this post wasn't up to my usual par- feeling really off today from the surgery- they weren't joking when they said it'd hit me worst after a few days x___X)
