Personality:
Wirrip has a truly odd personality. Even the other Ewoks call him eccentric, but eccentricity is the mark of a genius. He is bold and brave, sometimes taking on threats far beyond his capabilities. Since his childhood he had been like that; always on the thin line between getting in to trouble and getting out of it again. The Ewok doesn’t excel in any one specific area; rather he is a jack of all trades. If there is something he is really motivated to learn, he will pick it up quickly and skillfully.
Wirrip lives for adventure. Along with the many titles he has earned on Endor - Titles like warrior, spiritualist, explorer, hunter and the list goes on, - his proudest achievement of all is his title as Storyteller of the Ewoks. Planet-wide, tribes would meet once a year to hear the his latest adventures. This of course means that he is a highly artistic and emotional and a good speaker (Albeit in Ewokese). He has a way with languages, and loves to learn new ones. He speaks many, including Galactic Basic.
He loves meeting new people, going new places, and learning new things. He is highly superstitious, incorporating parts of all the religions he has encountered in to his own Ewok religion.
Bio:
Wirrip was born and raised by the Red Sun Tribe of Ewoks on the forest moon of Endor. From even the earliest age he was adventurous and daring, getting in to trouble within the confines of his tribe’s land. But he wanted more, he wanted to explore the vast planet that was open to him; he wanted to have adventures in the deepest forest. As a wokling he always urged for the day when he would be seen as a grown up, the day he would receive his ceremonial hood at the Festival of Hoods.
As a wokling, while he was waiting to be allowed hunting out like the true warriors of his tribe, he learnt many useful skills. Fishing, cooking, foraging, log-riding, vine-swinging and archery were al easy for him to pick up, and he competed in most events of his village’s annual midsummer festival, a time where Ewoks would show off their skills to each other in competition.
During his childhood, Wirrip became scout for the Red Sun Tribe. He learnt the basic skills one needs to survive in the wild, and he learnt various different types of navigation - From tracking to star reading. This occupation also gave him his first experiences with the less friendly species of Endor, both sentient and wild. He would always tell his stories of his encounters to the woklings of the village, and so began his prestigious career as a story teller.
During one winter season, Wirrip spent most of his time in the village’s sorcerer’s hut. He asked the sorcerer to take him on as an apprentice, so he could one day in the future become a medicine man, a very popular task and an honor amongst Ewoks. The sorcerer however denied him this, saying that he was not ready for such responsibility yet. Regardless, Wirrip attempted to learn the magic, and managed to set the sorcerer’s hut on fire and destroy his magical staff.
The Festival of Hoods came to his village and Wirrip was finally old enough to participate. He earned his hood, and thus his adult status within the Ewok community and traditions. For a few years, he lived out his dreams as an Ewok warrior and hunter, learning to trap and hunt things many times his size with the aid of the hunting party. It was both an important time for his experience in taking care of himself as well as his social skills. He once again learnt a lot and became a respected hunter.
Eventually, the inevitable happened. As had happened his whole life, Wirrip wanted more. More new experiences, more challenges. He wanted to leave his village, his woods and his planet to travel the wider universe. One night, without telling any others from his tribe, he left the forest moon of Endor as a stowaway on a cargo freighter. The tribe heard nothing from him for a year, when he came back just in time for the midsummer festival, with better stories than ever before.
And so, Wirrip Bee Squack travels the galaxies, looking for new adventures and infinitely more important; more stories to tell.

Wirrip was trying to get some sleep after their last adventure. They had spent just over a week on the jungle planet of Kashyyyk, a place much like Endor if not slightly fiercer. Normally they wouldn’t spend longer than a week on a planet, but this last visit had been quite unusual. The tribe that had offered them a treehut to stay in, the Kachiro tribe, had been going through some odd times of their own. A few mysterious killings and a Wookiee ‘madclaw’ had caused quite a ruckus in the community. Long story short, the Wookiees weren’t used to having to investigate crimes like this, but Wirrip and Nonna had managed to unravel the mystery and find the dishonourful perpetrator.
Wirrip always enjoyed these adventures, but he had to admit, he was completely worn out now. Luckily he was one of those people who could sleep in hyperspace travel and he used every chance he had to make use of that advantage. It seemed this voyage had only been short – or at least it seemed so to him – , as when Nonna woke Wirrip up, he would wish for nothing more than an extra hour of sleep. Of course, his companion didn’t let him. A decisive and painful whack on the head with her medicine stick soon woke him up completely.
The first sign of consciousness that he showed was a condescending frown and a light, throaty tsk, tsk. When the cargo hold opened, he quieted down hesitantly, but as no one came in, he showed why he wasn’t too pleased with Nonna.
“You no learn Basic if you no practice!” He said, his squeaky but, in the Ewok culture, quite manly voice.
Wirrip had taken it upon himself to teach Nonna all that he could. She was actually older than him, but for some reason Wirrip saw her as a little sister more than anything else. Ironically, he was sure she probably saw him as a little brother. Regardless, they got along very well. They had done so from the start.
The light shone triumphantly into the cargo hold, making Wirrip squint at first. He never truly liked space travel. He didn’t like being separated from nature or fresh air for so long. However, every time he landed somewhere, it made him feel great to be back on solid ground again. Still no one came in to the cargo hold even though it had just been opened. Perhaps it was automated, but the Ewok didn’t have enough knowledge of technology to understand that.
“Ready for see where we are?” He asked enthusiastically, maybe not handling Basic as well as he thinks he does.
