History:
Corsimir lays just on the edge of wild space, it has no strategic position or no relevant resources so the modern day galaxy left the planet virtually unexplored and untouched. However, Corsimir was not always left in peace. The Ratakan empire known as the infinite empire ruled over this particular planet with iron fist.
Over 20,000 years ago the Ratakan populace used this particular planet to recover and recooperate. The force flowed with a strong current through out the planet. Prophets with in the Infinite empire used the force to better the empire and over the years they built a temple 20 stories high with archaic statues and ancient symbols.
The planet itself did not give birth to any sentient life so the Ratakan military sent slaves (a handful of Humans and Selkath) to maintain the up keep of the temple. The slaves that were sent there had a prolonged life expentancy due to the strong force current and the average being would last just over twice their normal life expectancy. Due to this abnormality in longevity the slaves sent to the planet would only produce offspring once a centuary so they would not over populate the temple at the risk of the empire either killing unwanted offspring or sending them away else where. For this reason the population remained small.
the slaves were unaware of the demise of the empire and remained secluded from society for thousands of years in the belief that they still serve the prophets of the empire. Over time the population imprisoned there became adept at using the force as they had been exposed to the strong current of it for many years. They were not strong in the force nor able to wield it easily.
The planet remained untouched for many of thousands of years except for the odd explorer now and again who never stumbled upon the temple. The temple itself lay deep with in the jungle hidden by the extrememly tall trees and bushes.
The wild life on Corsimir consists mostly of small harmless herbivore mammals and birds.
