Mission Requirements: Padawan level and higher. Any padawan must be accompanying their master.
Mission Briefing: Jedi Shadow Mansu Ryn has been on the trail of a Dark Jedi for a while now. His last contact raised suspicion that there might be a group of them at work and since then he has failed to report in. A team of Jedi must find Mansu Ryn, return him home safely and if at all possible, take care of the Dark Jedi that have likely captured him.

OK, sound off people. You signed up for this mission, so let's see a little dedication. Give me your input.

Sorry for my lack of response, spent the last week packing and working.

Concerning this mission, I've not a great deal of input to give, really, as this will be only my second roleplay I've been involved in. I would say, though, that, given how slippery this Dark Jedi has been, he would need at least a bit of help from others; for example, a pilot to get him around. Whether that person is another Dark Jedi or not is another question. And, obviously, NPCs for a few more Dark Jedi, given that little teaser that there may be a group of them.

Otherwise, I'm really here to more or less learn the ropes and get a feel for things. Sorry if that's not helpful.

Anyways, I'm here. Been gone for awhile, glad to be back and excited for this mission.

I discussed with Lemur awhile ago that I wanted Sirius, my padawan, to get injured and incapacitated on this mission. Sirius is really "gung-ho" about fighting dark jedi, so I thought it would be good for him to learn some humility.

EDIT: I was thinking that we would find the Jedi Shadow, except he would be dead and the Dark Jedi would spring a trap on us. Maybe they use a bomb or some automated turrets?

Also, I think it would be cool if this all took place in an office building or a high rise. Just something skyscraper like.

All right, I'm gonna be like a boss here and lay down the plan.

There's going to be a whole enclave of Dark Jedi to fight, and we'll split up to do it. Teer and Sirius are going to hunt down the Dark Jedi the way the Shadow was (continuing his investigation), and the other two will retrace his steps and track him to a safehouse in the capitol where he is being tortured and held. Meanwhile Teer and Sirius will find their 'base' and set about tearing it apart with the help of the local authorities. Possibly even do a little sneaking first.

But we start arriving at the surface. Seeing as Teer is the senior Jedi she'll be in charge of the mission and will divide the labor as I've done here. Are we all clear?

If yes, then someone start the thread. If not, then too bad >:3

All I got to say 'bout that.

I'm just wondering, and Enclave means how many exactly? Not that I care, Sirius will probably be just sitting there watching as Teer slices and dices through them all. We also need to decide on some settings I think. Of course it's all in the city, but what does the safe house look like, what about the base, etc etc.

Anyways, we got some NPCs lined up I think. And since Teer is in-charge, how about you start Lmr?

As to the enclave, I think it would total maybe two or three dozen in all, with six or so of them at the safehouse with the prisoner. I think the enclave itself should be located in a warehouse in the industrial sections of the capitol city and the safehouse should be in a rundown apartment complex.

Yes Nick, but I'm pretty sure Teer is older, not to mention has more experience. With almost 30 DJ kills, I think my paddy with be hiding behind her.

Yes Charlie you did, and Teer is the more experienced Jedi Master. Especially when it comes to Dark Jedi, since she hunts them.

Erm, just a point of interest, 4 Jedi vs 24 -> 36 Dark Jedi = suicide. When I came up with this, I certainly didn't see any more that 10 at most, considering there'd be varying power levels. But four Jedi would get slaughtered by such numbers, unless all of the Dark Jedi were just using the Force for the first time.

Fighting two or more Force users alone is usually quite a challenging task. This splits up pretty much into 1 Jedi for every 6 -> 9 Dark Jedi. I'd recommend lowering their numbers a bit. Especially because it's rare for a group of Dark Jedi to become so large, and without the Jedi discovering them as well.

OK, now that Avoim quit the site and Aram seems to have disappeared, it's down to me and Ghostie. So we'll assume the other two are guarding the ship and just have the captured Jedi be at their main base.

So, I'm angling to get involved in this mission somehow. Reemu is a combat specialist so it would make sense for him to be directly involved in that sense, but beyond that I don't have a set of criteria I was going for. I'd be fine with more or less any method of getting him involved as long as it's not completely out of his character (i.e. he's not taking a leadership role and he probably won't be doing much negotiating either).
