Name: Quintus “Quin” Langley
Age: 58
Race: Human
Birth place: Alderaan
Height: 5' 11”
Weight: 167 .lbs
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Grey
Appearance:
Quin is average in height and weight. His hair has turned grey from aging, but he really hasn't lost any. Despite his age, Quin keeps in very fit shape, and it shows. When Quin stares at your with his ice blue eyes, they make you feel like he can look right through you.
Quin has many scrapes and scars from his time as Republic Special Operations and from hunting. But one that stands out among the rest is three parallel scratches down the right side of his face. These were gained while hunting one particularly nasty glow-wolf on Oatara.
He's usually found round the Spearpoint Base, Hell's Gate, in green junlge fatigues. Quin doesn't go anywhere without his gun, a slugthrower, which is always strapped to his hip. A survival knife can be found in his black boots, for those “just-in-case” times.
Personality:
Quin can be seen as a not very friendly person. When putting troops back in line or talking to the company at large, he is very serious and can be intimidating. However, if you get him one-on-one, he can be very friendly and talkative.
Quin doesn't deal with nonsense, and he has a very serious attitude. He takes loyalty especially serious, and isn't very fond of people who would go against their own.
Quin is very rough on his troops, putting them through hell and back. It seems like he hates them at times, but if you ask him, it's to make sure they're ready for anything, for their own good.
The Commander is very strong mentally. Quin has never doubted himself. Part of this comes from all his wilderness survival training, where in survival situations it's important to keep a good mental attitude.
Quin is very restless. He'll go from one profession to another more than normal people would. Sure, sometimes he stays years in one spot, but he will eventually move on. He likes to try new things every once and awhile.

Bio:
Born on Alderaan, Quintus Langley was the son of a wealthy businessman and an Aldera Police Officer. He grew up an only child, and with a great love of the outdoors.
Quin's father didn't share this love as much as he did, and his mother was always too busy to spend time to take him camping or do something similar.
Despite this, his father tried his best to be with the boy. While not knowing very much about the outdoors, his father still attempted camping trips and hiking. Most of these were pitiful attempts. But his father was able to do one thing for the boy; teach him how to use a blaster.
Quin started to teach himself certain things such as how to build a fire, how to hunt, how to track animals through the woods. The boy learned his first few lessons through books and the holonet, and then he decided to go try things for himself. He thought it was all very fun.
At the age of fifteen, Quin's father took him on their first father-son hunting trip. Due to the things he had taught himself, Quin was able to bag his first kill; a good sized deer.
After highschool, Quin decided to take his first two years of basic college and then enlist in the Republic Army. There, while going through Boot Camp, he succeed in earning himself an offer to help teach survival to other recruits. Quin turned this offer down.
Instead, he got attached to a Special Operations Recon team. They would infiltrate worlds with as much stealth as possible, locate the target, and call in the cavalry. They rarely engaged the targets, unless there was a few of them or they could take them out with stealth.
During one mission on a planet called Myrkr, Quin and his team were tracking a group of pirates that had been terrorizing the Republics trade routes nearby. The pirates got wind of the recon team, and they destroyed the team's shuttle. Quin and the others escaped into the jungle unharmed.
On Myrkr, they were forced to survive in the jungle for almost two weeks before the taskforce showed up. They encountered vronskrs, which they had to fight off. One of their team, a Bothan, ended up getting sick from some dirty water.
Some of the team decided to retire after their mission to Myrkr, but not Quintus. He soon became in charge of the team, and he ran a tight ship. Things operated smoothly, and they all did their job efficiently.
One mission on Ryloth is what made Quintus decide to switch careers. He was perched on a small, short cliff with a sniper rifle and his spotter, a young twi'lek. The cliff was unstable, and with all the weight it came tumbling down. He ended up breaking his arm. He decided he was getting a little old, and it was time to pass on what he knew.
In his forties, Quin started teaching survival classes at a Naval Academy on Raltiir. It just so happened that one of the cadets to learn under Quintus was a young Ethan Moreill.
Quintus soon became tired of this as well though, and he retired from the Republic Navy, being honorably discharged. He went on to use what he knew and become a hunter. He hunted all kinds of animals across the galaxy, from nexus and wraids, and even once taking down a rancor with a team of other hunters.
Sometimes Quin hunted cause someone put a bounty on a certain animal, sometimes just because he wanted to. It earned him a collection of pelts none-the-less, one he was proud of.
Then, he heard tell of a group being formed called Spearpoint, by someone named Ethan Moreill. Recognizing the name, Quin joined up on a whim. Ethan gave him whatever job he wanted, which was that of helping train new recruits and taking care of the base.
