What? People voted for Episode 3?? That's the worst, just because it doesn't have alot of plot. Pretty much the whole movie is in hte 20 minutes where the dueling happens, and the only reason they made the movie was to fill in the story blanks.

I myself said that the 5th was the best, because the 4th was a nice beginning, but it wasn't quite made properly because they weren't expecting to make a 5th. The 6th has the best action/word play, but the 5th has the best storyline and acting.

The first three movies (ep. 1,2,3) are jokes to SW and should be burned.

But that's just my humble opinions.

I would have voted for Episode 1 seeing as though Darth Maul is my favorite Sith Lord, but t the time I voted, i didn't have that thought in my head. So I went with my second favorite- Episode III

Didn't like the plot. Nor did I like Episode 1, 2, or 3. 4, 5, and 6 are so much better. >_>

You can thank Jar-Jar banks for that. One of the most annoying characters good ol Gorge has made. I couldn't stand how they didnt kill him off....

I agree that Jar Jar was the main reason I didn't vote for Episode 1. I REALLY liked the character of Qui-gon but gods did the young Anakin annoy the piss outta me. >___< They sort of ruined Darth Vader a bit by making him a whiny joke in the first three movies, in my humble opinion. The great Sith lord should NEVER be seen shouting "YIPPIE". *sigh*

Personally I think Anakin would have been better in Episodes 2 and 3 if they'd actually found someone who could act.

HAHAH!! I dearly hope that isn't true. ^__^ For me Darth Vader was the personification of evil in IV. As a child, he terrified me. In V, he became something of a sad figure that was still yet somehow scary. It was simply made all the more poignant by the fact that they displayed a sliver of his humanity through it and you had to wonder what would cause a man to fall to those depths.

Seeing the first three movies....I don't know what I was expecting but whiny wasn't it. Maybe I should have in light of how pathetic Luke Skywalker was in IV and V but still, some part of me wanted to believe that there was something truly epic behind why a Jedi might fall from grace. Being whiny just wasn't what I'd hoped for. In those first three movies, Anakin never appealed to me at all. He never came across to me as anything but spoiled and egotistical. I honestly couldn't figure out why, with all the training that Obi-wan had given him, that Anakin simply had turned out so rotten. He just...*sigh* He never seemed like the person I'd thought perhaps Vader had been beforehand. :/ Either way, I was disappointed to find that he simply turned to the dark side, it seemed to me, because he was afraid of losing one person. There had to be something pretty rotten inside him to start with to make him feel that slaughtering children was an acceptable trade for the life of one person. :/

I would vote ROTJ but ESB has AT-ATs which are by far my favorite vehicle.

For me ROTJ was the cherry on top, the whole film kicked ass. It had this awesome blend of humour, action and storyline all rolled into one. For me it felt as though the actors were the most believable in ROTJ however, it was pretty much like that the whole way through the first three films but it just seemed to be more prominent in this film.

Eps. I, II and III were for me, more of a modernisation of the star wars saga with tons of CGI, a visual treat if you like with less emphasis on the characters.

Episode 2 set a lot up for the future
