all of their games has won some form of an award and ever since I played one of they're games, it has earned a special place in my heart and mind. It has affected many pieces of me and the way I think (however deranged I may be).

I'll be brief here, but, in my mind, Elder Scrolls = ownage of everything else of its genre, plain and simple.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong, but there is nothing compared to TES3: Morrowind, for many have tried, and all have failed to kill it (remember Fable; "The Morrowind Killer")?

KOTOR was good as far as a Star Wars RPG goes, but it had path resrictions. Mass Effect is going to be alright, but it's not going to be anything close to Morrowind in depth, and overall TES. I don't really di the whole "Space set RPG, to me it goes against all the basics of what an RPG is, everytime someone says RPG, I don't think space, it think swords and axes, shields and spells.

None in the Elder scrolls series come anywhere near PSO man, not at all. Before they killed the server, PSO was among the best RPGs in existence, right up there with FF. Needless to say I was infuriated when the server died in favor of the new PSU which was a mere pittance in comparison. I've played most of the games in the Elder Scrolls series (the newest being my fav) but none can come anywhere near it.

As for KOTOR, I personally loved them both, but the first one is the better due to it's plot line (bloody impatient fans, a better plot will always outweigh having it done sooner). It's one of the better RPGs I've played, but it lost a lot without having an online aspect for the xbox.

Yeah, TES series is amazing, save for one small problem. TO RUN OBLIVION YOU NEED A 3000 DOLLAR PC.

No you don't...

$460 will get you an Xbox 360, a wireless controller, and a copy of Oblivion. For online play, you get a free month (not including the actual oblivion online stuff, but idk if you have to pay for that or not, I didn't get the chance to check that out) of XBL when you buy it and get it set up. Biggest downside: most of your Xbox games won't work on the 360, so keep the old one.

WoWs the worst game of any genre. I don't get how the hell it sold so many copies!?! I bought it and played it for two months. They were the worst two months of my life. It was an even bigger let down than FF11.
As for Fable I reckon it was good. I wouldn't stick it under the RPG catergory it wasn't that Roleplay to be honest. Mostly just combat 'n' stuffs.
I've been thinking of getting Oblivion for a while and now that Ive read how good it is Im defiently going to get it next weekend.

Either way, has anyone else played any of the other TES games, I've played Oblivion, Morrowind, Arena, and Daggerfall. My favorite has to be Morrowind hands down; Oblivion was disappointing in size and misc. content and quests (graphics don't count for sh*t in my gradebook). Incedentally graphics are too just to bad in Daggerfall to make the cut, so it makes 2nd best.

I spent so long on Morrowind that I know everything about every quest, every NPC location, and where to get most of the unique items.
