Where might you have gotten this information? I will search for it, but in case I am fruitless, I would love to know.

Makes me feel better though. I love BioWare RPG's...and KOTOR III on next-gen is going to be sick. Also, I'm very, very happy they didn't go MMO with this. Really, I'm not a big fan of them and I'd hate to see a good series die and ugly Galaxies-style death.

Well I got it from www.gamer.no It's a Norwegian site that gives you reliable facts about games. You probably won't understand a thing. It's all in Norwegian. But it says so right there, and you can trust them.

I too love the fact that it won't be an MMO. It would have been crap.

And I must agree, I hate EA games as well- but for different reasons then most gamers. Working for them sucked big time. =/

KOTOR pwns all games I've ever played! I've played both I and II seven times each so that I could try out all the variables, and I'm going at it again! obsessed? maybe. Loving it? definitely! ;D

Heh, to rejuvenate my love for Star Wars I actually started playing the first one again yesterday, I found the story in that one so much better than the second. But then again, I never really finished KotoR II, just got to Malachor and then the person i was borrowing it off wanted it back :/.

I can't wait for III to come out, hopefully it'll live up to the standards of I and not of II.

Yea, if III is a MMORPG then I really doubt it will be as good as the original, since the thing that made that so amazing was the story. And with mmorpgs, you tend to find that the story can never be that good whilst involving the limited possibilities the system would have to have.

So for the future of KotOR III, I sincerely hope it isn't a MMORPG.

HI! im new here and i would like a bit of help... you see, i am FASCINATED with KotOR II(to the extent to where i am listening to KOTOR MUSIC RIGHT NOW!) and especially the teachings of kreia (NOT TRAYA!). so if you could, compile a list of her teachings so i might bathe in the knowledge the experts have! i have neerly beaten the game twice and am on nihilus's level, without using any cheats naturally. so, if its not too much trouble, leave some kreia thoughts and philosiphies and direct me to the RP room! ^^

An absolutely ground-breaking pair of videogames. I prefer one over the other depending on the subject being argued over, but the fact that KotOR slapped away all the competition as far as 2003 was concerned says more then enough. I still play them both from time to time out of habit.

And yeah, I bought KotORII first, even though I borrowed the first from a friend for a couple days before that. I was totally confused until I did it properly.

it was in that same interview with Greg Zeschuk, apparently the person interviewing him asked directly is the new MMO going to be KOTOR? and he answered with a straight up yes, no other questions asked. I read about it on IGN.

From what I can tell the MMO will be a new Star Wars MMO placed in the time period of KOTOR. As there is a hole in events it seems to make sense. I do not, however, think that the MMO will be "KotOR III" only involving "Old Republic Knights." I find more evidence supporting the idea that there will be two games; one KotOR III, and the other the Old Republic MMO. I don't know though, we will have to wait and see.

I do hope that's the case JK, because personally, I want them to at least attempt to wrap some stuff up from the past two KotOR.

But a KotOR era MMO sounds like it could be quite cool, and I'd probably get it, as long as it wasn't a pay monthly thing.

Of course it'll be a pay monthly thing. These people aren't stupid. They know how popular the KotOR series is, and regardless of how crappy their product might be, are aware that anyone interested will do whatever they can to play the thing for atleast a while, so they're gonna make them pay. Hell, just look at Pirates of the Caribbean Online.

I agree that this is an excellent time to set an MMO based on Star Wars. It's almost completely vacant with the general exception of the Alsakan Conflicts, which could play a role in the game's development seemlessly. And it won't have to worry about plot holes, like Galaxies and half of its player population consisting of Jedi Knights, etc.

I just hope the game looks atleast as good as KotOR II or better graphically.

KOTOR III will proably turn out better than what they are doing with Halo lol. The Halo movie will probably ruin it, and Halo 3 was a let down to a lot of people. If you look at most game series there first game is the best then it just takes a downward spiral to hell. I don't think that KOTOR III will be all that bad.
