Name: Sirius Kelrune
Race: Human
Age: 23
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 158 .lbs
Birth place: The Jedi Temple, Coruscant
Appearance:
Sirius is average in height for his age. He has white skin, and burns rather than tans while is sun for a long time. Sirius keeps his short brown hair cut at a somewhat longer length than the average apprentice. If his hair isnt cut short, it becomes long very fast.
Sirius's has a handsome face. In fact, Sirius was always a cute toddler and kid, and he has grown into a handsome young man. But his ears are a bit big, and tend to stick out alittle. He doesn't have any scars or tattoos.
His hands are longer and slightly thinner that most, and he has long and nimble fingers. There almost like ideal piano player fingers. These hands are perfect for working with technology.
Sirius wears the usual white and brown robes of a Knight, with his silver hilted lightsaber hanging at his left side. Sometimes, on rare occasions, Sirius has a necklace made out of Akul teeth that he wears. He gained the Akul teeth during his trip to Shili with Master Ka. He views it as something of a 'good luck' charm. He is usually never seen with it outside of the Temple.
On a recent mission with his Master, Teer Ka, Sirius lost his right arm dueling a dark Jedi. The wound begins right below his elbow, luckily leaving the joint intact. His replacement, a silver cybernetic limb, gleams in the light. It took Sirius awhile to get used to, but he soon didn't notice a difference.
While working undercover as a Jedi Shadow, Sirius can be seen in normal clothing which consist of denim blue pants, work boots, a button shirt and a nice olive colored jacket. His saber is commonly hanging inside of his jacket to hide it from view. Also, a brown leather glove goes over his cybernetic arm when dressed like this.
Personality: Sirius prides himself on being one of the most tech savvy Jedi in the whole Jedi Order. He can pick up a piece of technology that he has never used and have it doing cartwheels for him before you knew what happened. It’s the same with mechanical things. This just comes naturally to him, some people are good pilots, others good with diplomacy, and Sirius is good with technology. He says that it’s actually very easy, as long as you pay attention, which Sirius also does very well. He has a good mind for remembering things.
Sirius is a good lightsaber combatant, one of the top in his year. His force skills are somewhat average however. He laughs at this, saying everyone can’t be good at everything. He doesn’t handle diplomacy well, and prefers action.
Sirius knows that Jedi are not invincible all too well after seeing his master die, but he thinks that they should be more than capable to take on most people no matter their rank or power. Sirius likes to use his lightsaber as to get what he needs on a mission; his master taught him that your lightsaber doesn’t need to be activated to be useful.
Sirius hates formalities. He isnt formal with anyone, but he will still call people Masters if they earned the title. Its not that he doesnt respect people, but he just doesnt care to be formal, he sees no need for it. Sirius is also a very unorganized person. His room in the Jedi Temple is very messy. Sirius says that it makes everything easier to find.
Sirius is loyal to the Jedi Order and follows the code the best he can. He has had trouble in the past, and sometimes he still does if the code prevents him from doing his job. Sirius is a selfless, modest, and honest Jedi. But after his first master died, Sirius has developed both a hatred and a fear of the darkside. He hates those who use the darkside to gain power and hurt others, but he fears falling to the darkside himself. This only expanded when his second master lost most of his memory because of the darkside.
Sirius likes to have a good time, make jokes, and get in mischief. He is always like this, unless he knows he has to be serious at the time. For all he jokes, Sirius really is one of the more mature apprentices you will ever find. There are a few friends Sirius has known since he could remember that he is very loyal too, and would do almost anything to not lose their friendship. He would go to just about any lengths to save them. Sirius is very nice and polite, but is somewhat shy around new people. He tends to be the sentimental type, keeping little mementos from past missions he remembers fondly.
It doesn’t take Sirius much to get mad; failures are one of the main things. He is funnily enough one of the first to try a diffuse a situation between two others though. He doesn’t care who it is, but if he thinks they’re acting stupid he’ll tell them outright. Sirius isn’t one to sit and listen to a lecture, most of the time he knows what he did wrong, but doesn’t realize it until halfway through. Sirius respects the Jedi’s traditions and code, but has had a hard time following it sometimes, especially the part of no relationships.
The padawan would rather do whatever needs to be done then listen to people argue about doing it. He is a person of action. Sirius does whatever needs to be done, whether it is combat or escorting someone or researching something. But he draws the line at gore and heights, wanting to keep things that need to be inside the body inside and being somewhat afraid of falling from heights.

Bio:
Discovery and Youngling Years: ½ year before birth – 12 years old[/u]
Wolf Baren, a Zabrak Jedi Knight, was on a mission to Keldabe, Mandalore to shut down a criminal ring that was making, selling, and smuggling mandalorian weapons and armor throughout the galaxy. There one night he met a young woman, an expecting mother no less, whom at first was just another pedestrian on the street. But then he noticed something about her, but more prominent, about the unborn child. The child was very strong in The Force.
So being as bold as he was, Wolf approached the young woman and told her about her unborn child. She introduced herself as Lauren Decimus and said she had already known from the doctors, but was afraid because at the moment she was living in her father’s house, and he hated the Jedi. Wolf told her the Jedi would offer to keep her safe until the child was born. Sirius was born a full bred Mandalorian.
Wolf was granted permission from the Council to invite Lauren to the Jedi Temple to seek sanctuary from her family during her pregnancy, which she accepted. After seven months, two months having lived outside of the Temple, the baby was born. Lauren named the child Sirius, and then he was taken into the Order. Sirius didn’t know he is of Mandalorian decent, Lauren asked the Jedi to keep it a secret, so the Jedi changed the child’s last name.
At the age of five, Sirius became a youngling just like everyone else his age and started his lessons. He immediately made friends with another human boy named Hunter Corra. The two became like brothers, one wasn’t seen without the other. The soonest Sirius was swinging a lightsaber around is when people saw he had a natural skill with lightsabers. While Hunter swung wildly trying to deflect blast from a remote, Sirius was able to block most of the blast from his remote. But when it came to lessons about The Force, and the younglings trying to use it, Hunter would best Sirius here, so they compensated for the other.
Sirius first laid his hands on a piece of technology at the age of nine. It was just a data pad at the time, but Sirius thought it was a little slice of heaven. The Knight to which the datapad belonged saw Sirius messing around with it and first went to reprimand him, but instead saw how tech savvy he was, and the Knight was very impressed with the kid.
Also when Sirius was nine, his little group of friends expanded. A bothan boy they had seen but never met named Bevin Terrik, who was eight at the time, started to hang out with them. At first Sirius was afraid that Hunter and Bevin wouldn’t get along. Bevin was more of a thinker and Hunter was more of a fighter. They had their arguments but eventually the two boys got along. This was also the time the younglings were allowed the duel each other for training under a Master’s supervision. Training sabers only, so all they would get would be minor stings. They way Sirius and Hunter went at it when they dueled, you wouldn’t know they were friends.
Eventually it was time that Sirius and Hunter be picked to be apprentices. Both the boys were twelve at the time. They dueled each other in front of many Masters, some of the masters said they were too violent in their duels, but in all reality the kids were just trying to impress. They also met many of the Masters too. Sirius eventually met Wolf Baren, the man he knew to be responsible for bringing him to the Order. Wolf liked what he saw in the kid, and took him as an apprentice.
Apprenticeship: Ages 12 – 16
Sirius loved Wolf, and the Knight showed these feelings back. They made a deep bond quickly. As usual, their missions at first were simple diplomatic missions or supply drops to other Jedi out on missions. Sirius didn’t care for the diplomacy much, no matter how much Wolf tried to involve him. But like any kid he enjoyed traveling around the galaxy and seeing new planets, tasting new food, meeting all kinds of people, and learning more about the history of the galaxy. Sirius was always impressed by Wolf's skill with a lightsaber. Wolf taught Sirius some basics of Djem So and Shien, two styles Master Wolf had personally mastered. Sirius quickly picked up on the form and it became one of his favorites.
Sirius had his first taste of combat at the age of thirteen. On what would’ve been a normal, risk free, supply drop to a Jedi that was hunting down a spice smuggling ring that was stretched across the galaxy on Ryloth, during the actual drop off of supplies they got jump by a group of hired mercenaries and smugglers. Wolf and Sirius deflect back what laser bolts they could, and retreated back onto the ship. The other Jedi simply mowed the thugs down, they were that well trained. Sirius watched as he killed most of them. Wolf got the boy back onto the ship and took off. Over a meal they discussed what happened, Wolf was worried about Sirius because seeing death for the first time usually upset most padawans.
But Sirius was completely fine, he said he saw those guys as bad criminals, and they probably deserved what they got. Wolf was worried at first because it seemed that Sirius was completely numb to death. He tried to explain that they weren’t necessarily bad at heart, and that they had just died, meaning they wouldn’t be able to see their family or friends anymore and there would be people that miss them. Sirius understood it somewhat, but he still thought of them as just bad people.
When Sirius was fourteen is when the missions started to get more serious. There was one mission to Kuat that was very important to Sirius. There was a family of a Republic Brigadier General in the Special Forces, a very important man, his name was Mikal Laike. They had recently gotten a threat from a bunch of Mandalorians saying they were going to kidnap his family if he didn’t resign immediately. Mikal was unsure of what to do, he had always been a stubborn man. They Jedi were brought in because some investigators that were investigating where the threat came from thought it was an inside job, someone close to the family.
The Jedi Council sent Wolf and Sirius along with three other Jedi Knights to investigate the threat and keep the family safe at the same time. Wolf and Sirius were mostly on guard duty at the time, and this is when Sirius met Kaila, the Generals daughter. Wolf had warned him beforehand that Jedi were forbidden to have relationships, but Sirius was instantly smitten by the girl. She was fourteen at the time, same as Sirius and they became very close over the course of the mission. Sirius tried his best to try and not start anything, but it became increasingly difficult. Wolf saw this and had Sirius spend a few days in town just so he could relax and get his head on right. The Jedi guarding the family never saw any action, and once the three other knights found the man behind the inside job, an aide to the General, they were able to root out the rest of the mandalorians. On the last night before the morning the Jedi left, Kaila gave Sirius a necklace that was special to her, a gift from her grandmother so he could wear it and remember her. It was a simple metal string with a bronze colored gem hanging from it, about the size of Sirius' thumb. She also gave him a kiss on the cheek, and Sirius as held onto that memory and has always hoped to see her again.
After this mission Sirius made his lightsaber. It was a very simple design, with some extra padding added to the handle so he could wield it comfortably for long periods. It was also longer than most lightsabers, so that he could fit both hands on it and have room to spare. The only trouble he had building the lightsaber was finding the materials, he was very good with mechanics just like with technology, and he put it together in just a few hours.
Sirius had trouble finding the right crystal though. Wolf took Sirius to Ilum, and none of the crystals called to him. He also took him to Dantoonie, before it was invaded, and still Sirius could not find a crystal. At last, Sirius found the perfect crystal, and it had been in front of him the whole time. Sirius took the crystal from the necklace Kaila gave him and put it in his lightsaber. Sirius knew that he had made the right choice, he didn’t know how he knew, but he knew none the less. Sirius meditated on the crystal for almost a month, and the lightsaber gave off a bronze beam of light when it was finished.
Sirius heard that Dantoonie was invaded soon after completing his saber. He at first was very worried, the last he heard of Bevin he was on Dantoonie at the enclave training.
After Sirius built his saber, he and Wolf went back to their regular missions, as the Jedi Council had not taken to steps to enter the war yet. The war found them anyways. There were many times Wolf and Sirius had to give up on a mission and run for it because they had gotten ambushed by a dark jedi. It had become almost of a norm for them; Get to the mission site, do a little investigating, get a good lead, follow up on it, and then get ambushed by a dark jedi. Wolf knew that it was his old padawan, but he didnt share this information with Sirius. The dark jedi was not affliated with the Sith.
Wolf was given permission from the Jedi Council to bring his padawan in. He finally told Sirius that the dark jedi hunting them was his old apprentice, who left the Jedi Order after he became a knight. The mission went horribly wrong though. Wolf and Sirius went on the mission with Hunter Corra and his master, a Twi’lek named Jom Ordona. They were on Taris following the trail of a Jedi who left the Order and the Council believed he had made the cross over to a Dark Jedi. Sirius and the others were sent to bring him back alive if possible. Once they had reached what the team had believed the be the deserters safe house, they barged in ready to fight a Dark Jedi, but instead they found a squad of Sith troopers and the dark Jedi waiting for them. Since Wolf had gone in first, he caught the brunt of the ambush, and he was unprepared for lasers and he got shot a total of three times, twice in the stomach and once in the chest. They team of Jedi quickly fell back, with Sirius carrying Wolf. They were being chased by the Sith down the apartment hallway, and since they were only on the second floor, Sirius dived out of the window at the end of the hallway and used the Force to cushion his and Wolfs fall. The other Jedi followed him and they ran down an alley way, getting just far enough away so Sirius could take Wolf and dive behind the cover on a dumpster for a minute. There, Wolf died in Sirius’s arms. Wolfs last words of how much he loved Sirius, and how some day he would make a great Jedi. Then Wolf gave Sirius the only thing he could; his lightsaber, knowing that Sirius liked to keep little mementos. There, while the Sith started coming after them again and lasers bounced off of Sirius’s cover, he sat here crying and cradling Wolf’s dead body.
They eventually got anyway from the Sith, but Sirius refused to leave Wolf’s body. It was a very quiet ride back to the Jedi Temple, and ever since Sirius as been very quite, depressed, and withdrawn from everyone. They had a funeral pyre for Wolf when they got back to the Temple, and the Jedi allowed Sirius to keep Wolf's lightsaber, after all he had given to the boy in a last act of kindness.
Second Chances: Ages 16 - 22
After about three weeks of sulking around the Temple, fixing random things that needed fixing, and being generally depressed the whole time, Sirius soon feared that he would be sent off to the Corps because no Master had taken him after Wolf had died. This was just a fear of his after spending so much time in the Temple, there had been in fact a Master watching his for a couple of days now. Jedi Master Oberon Kellar had been back at the Temple for a few days after spending months on the Outer Rim as a Jedi Shadow. He had no idea what Sirius's story was, or what kind of training he had. But Oberon felt drawn to boy, and decided it was the Force that was drawing them together. After his fifth day at the Jedi Temple, Oberon took Sirius and went before the Jedi Council, and they became Master and Padawan.
Master Kellar was happy that Sirius was trained in Djem So and Shien, and was doubly glad when he found out Sirius had an advance knowledge in Protection Force abilities, at least for a padawan. Master Kellar used Djem So and Shien himself, so he could pick up on training Sirius where Master Wolf left off. He continued to train Sirius in the use of Protection Force abilities and Telekinetic abilities as well.
Master Kellar and Sirius didn't start out on the best foot. Oberon was a tough mentor, but he didn't lack kindness or understanding. Their training regimens would push Sirius to the point of exhaustion every time. Master Kellar trained him in Unarmed combat as well.
Sirius and Master Kellar were tasked with tracking down artifacts circulating through markets in Republic Space that had some connection to the Force. This was all part of Master Kellar's porfession as a Jedi Shadow. It was mostly jewerly that merchants were happy to part with once they found out the Jedi were after them. But once and awhile the Jedi pair came across a sword or two.
There was one particular time a merchant didn't quite feel like parting with his merchandise. A Bothan on Commenor named Trey'lia had recently come across some ancient weapons that he had planned to sell. One of the weapons, a specter, sparked interest in Master Kellar so he and Sirius decided to investigate. Upon reaching the planet, Trey'lia went into hiding as soon as he heard there were Jedi who wanted to see him. Master Kellar and Sirius found where the Bothan lived, and they showed up out his house. But instead of the Bothan, they found battle droids waiting for them.
Slicing through the droids, The Jedi eventually found out from Trey'lia's family, who was still in the house and not happy with Trey'lia, where he had gone. Apparently he had a compound for storage in the heart of the capital city. Jedi travelled there and arrived just in time to see Trey'lia loading a shuttle to leave. Master Kellar and Sirius sneaked aboard and stowed away. They waited until the shuttle entered hyperspace, where Trey'lia would have no where to run.
In hyperspace, Sirius and Master Kellar sprung their trap. They caught the merchant off guard, and the only security he had were battle droids he didn't have enough time to power up. Master Kellar forced the merchant to drop out of hyperspace in the middle of no where while Sirius held off the three poorly trained crew members. They subdued and cuffed Trey'lia and his crew and brought the whole shuttle back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Sirius and Master Kellar never found out what happened to the specter, but the Council found fit to lock up all the artifacts on shuttle in the Jedi Temple.
By this time, Sirius was eighteen. He and Master Kellar started to get along better, but they still didn't have the best relationship. None the less, Master Kellar had a great deal of influence over Sirius, and Sirius decided to take on the role of Jedi Shadow once he became Knighted.
The Jedi Pair continued to monitor the markets in the Republic on the wishes of the Jedi Council. Master Kellar and Sirius developed enough trust between each other that Master Kellar would often send the padawwan out on his own while scouring market places or assign him tasks during a mission to complete without Master Kellar. Somehow though, Master Kellar always knew when Sirius was in trouble, and was always there to get him out of it.
Sirius and Master Kellar worked missions for three more years. During this time, the War between the Republic and the Sith started. Master Kellar sided with the Council, and decided that he and Sirius would stay out of the War for now. Instead, the Council had set them on the trail of a dark Jedi that was causing chaos in the Mid Rim. The dark Jedi was attacking factories that were building vehicles for the war effort. Since the dark Jedi wasn't in the Sith Order, the Jedi Council saw no harm in sending a Jedi after him.
The Jedi pair tracked the dark Jedi to Ord Mantell after just missing him on Bothawui. Sirius and Master Kellar cornered the dark Jedi at a factory a few days after landing on the planet. It was a tough battle, the dark Jedi employed Juyo against them, which Master Kellar was ablke to counter with some of his own Juyo but the duel was too much for Sirius. He hung back mostly, and made sure none of the dark Jedi's hired goons interfered.
The duel did not bode well for Master Kellar. Sirius had joined again, but Master Kellar had slipped and fell from a catwalk. When he fell, Sirius heard a loud snap, and figured he broke his leg from the fall. Master Kellar couldn't get back up, and the dark Jedi went down after him. On the main floor, the dark Jedi used a power Sirius would later learn was called 'Drain Knowledge'. Sirius jumped down from the catwalk, using machinery to make his way down so he didn't fall. With the dark Jedi distracted, Sirius went in for the kill and stabbed him though the chest.
Master Kellar never was right after that mission. The Jedi Healers said the Drain Knowledge had a bigger effect on him than most, and some effects permanent. Master Kellar now had a permanent residence in the Healing Ward of the Jedi Temple.
Sirius sunk back into the same depression he had when Master Wolf died. He had to find a new Master again. Sirius would visit Master Kellar often, but it was as if he had a bad case of Alzheimer’s, and the Jedi Healers could do nothing about it since it was induced by a Force power. One thing that always made Sirius happy though was that Master Kellar always knew who Sirius was, and was always happy to see him.
Third Time is the Charm: Ages 21 - 22
When Sirius was twenty-one, he found his third master. A Togruta female named Teer Ka. Sirius hoped with everything he had that he wouldn't have to find a new master this close to Knighthood. Sirius and Master Ka didn't start out on the right foot, much like the padawan and Master Kellar before. But they soon got over it, and they bonded fairly well. Sirius has so far learned a lot from the veteran Weapons Master, and she has been somewhat of a maternal figure to him, but only when she absolutely needs to be. Otherwise, Master Ka has been the toughest Master Sirius has had yet, not even comparing to Master Kellar.
Master Ka took Sirius to her homeworld of Shili. There, she taugh the padawan survival skills for about a week. When she thought he was ready, she lead him out into the wilderness and told him to find his way back to the village they were stay at, without her. He successfully did so, but arrived later than they both had expected. The next morning, An akul attack the the village. Master Ka and a very tired Sirius fought off the monster, and Master Ka thought that his part in the event was enough for his Trial of Courage. On this trip, Sirius broke his glasses, warranting a new pair once they got back to the Temple.
On another, more recent mission, Sirius and Master ka were sent to track down a missing Jedi Shadow on Umbara. The Shadow was found to be held by an enclave of dark Jedi. Sirius and Master Ka systematically took out the sentries and the guards around the Jedi Shadow, but Master Ka wanted to finish off the rest of the dark force users for good. Sirius took out one dark Jedi himself, but was maimed by a second. He lost his right arm on this mission. Master Ka thought that this mission served as a good enough Trial of Skill and Flesh, and submitted to the Council for review.
After the mission to Umbara, Sirius decided to have corrective eye surgery. Viewed as a liability during combat, Sirius folded up his glasses for good. He saw them only a a liability now.
Sirius then took his Trial of Spirit, his last Trial before becoming a Knight. In it, he saw himself going on a revenge-twisted hunt for a dark Jedi, and then eventually falling to the darkside himself. Eventually he saw himself killing his fellow Jedi and then being killed himself, by none other than Master Teer Ka. He woke clutching his chest and panting. Confident that Sirius had learned what he needed to from this vision, Teer Ka told him he had passed.
After his Knighting Ceremony, Sirius soon left the Jedi Temple for Seraphim. There he joined The Blades, the Jedi supporting the war effort. On Seraphim he learned to pilot a starfighter and picked up a new friend, an astromech he nicknamed Quasar.

“Sirius, get that door open quickly, he could escape at anytime” Wolf rushed Sirius as the latter fiddled with the door controls. He knelt in a dimly lit hallway on the second story of a seedy apartment complex. As Sirius tried to get the door to apartment 214 to open, Wolf stood on the other side of the door and Jom and Hunter across the hall. They wore casual civilian clothes to try and look inconspicuous, but the fact that they were holding lightsabers made their disguise useless. “Hey don’t rush, this is a little more complicated then it looks. I just got past the electronic key reader and now Im on the actual locking mechanism itself. Besides, I think you need to work on making some new disguises rather than trying to be a backseat lock pick.” Sirius replied chuckling, attempting to bore Wolf with some tech so Wolf would get off of his back and laugh at the same time. They were all nervous; after all they were after a dark Jedi. It seemed that Wolf just wanted to get this done and over with, Sirius knew he actually wasn’t mad at him. “We could just charge in, lightsabers blazing.” Hunter suggested. Sirius and Hunter had been best friends for a long time, and ever since he met Hunter Sirius could tell he was the type just to barge in and get the job done. “Nah, that would be too much fun Hunt, and you know how these two are with fun.” Sirius joked about Wolf and Jom. A smile touched Jom’s lips and Hunter laughed, but Wolf was still focused on the door. “Anyways,” Sirius continued, “even if we charged him and took down the dark Jedi, who do you think would claim all the credit? The Knights of course! ‘Uh, yeah we took him down all by ourselves. No help from our apprentices what so ever!’” Sirius continued to joke, making a passing impression of Wolf. This time he made Wolf smile, which is what Sirius was aiming for the whole time, to relieve some stress. “Ah you know me too well Sirius. Now just get that door open, okay?” Wolf replied in a softer voice. They shared a smile as Sirius continued to try and pick the lock.
“Y’know, I don’t think picking locks is a skill a Jedi should have” Jom commented. “Probably not,” Sirius agreed, “But is does have it perks, like getting doors open.” At that the door slid open. Blaster fire poured out of the opening and hit the wall where Jom had just been standing. Every started to move very quickly from this point on. Wolf caught some of the blaster fire to the stomach and chest. “Wolf!” Sirius yelled over the blaster fire. Jom and Hunter ignited their lightsabers, casting a blue and green glow around the hallway. “It’s the Sith!” Hunter yelled. Wolf fell across the doorway, and Sirius, still in a kneeling position, turned to catch him. As Sirius caught his wounded master and dragged him down the hallway, Jom and Hunter moved behind him in order to cover their escape. Sirius stood up and hoisted Wolf over both shoulders and started jogging down the hallway with him as fast as he could, Jom and Hunter on his heels with blaster fire following them down the hallway. Sirius saw the window at the end of the hallway that looked out over the alleyway between the apartment complex and the store next door. It was just big enough for two men to jump out of if they wanted. Sirius didn’t stop, and instead dove right though the glass into the alleyway, already trying to use the Force to slow his fall. Right before he hit the pavement though, Sirius woke up.
Sirius had been dreaming. He had been having the same dream over and over for two weeks now. The same jokes, the same conversation, and Wolf falling the same way every single time. He could hardly believe it had only been two weeks since Wolf had died in that same alleyway from the dream, with Sirius cradling his body and Wolf passing on the one thing he could, his lightsaber. Just remembering it brought tears back to Sirius eyes. He sat up in bed and held his head in his hands. Wolfs lightsaber had stayed on Sirius’s bedside table. Sirius had built a little platform for it, but hadn’t touched it since. But the one thing Sirius remembered most was Wolf’s final words. You’ll make a great Jedi yet Sirius. I’m so proud of you. Sirius just sat there in bed with his head in his hands, listening to the thunderstorm outside. He probably wasn’t going to get anymore sleep tonight.
