Faction Purpose:
The SDS is currently a small jack of all trades company that has come to settle on the world of Seltos. Their main purpose in the production of a handful of oddities of goods not often available in the section of the galaxy around Seltos. While their main purpose is to provide for a rare service in their small corner of the galaxy, their underlying purposes range from gaining power by expanding their corporation to the planets in the immediate area, to being able to mass produce goods from droids to ships to be sold to the larger more powerful governments in the galaxy. Thus using the credits from these sales to acquire more power for themselves.

Along with the export of a few tons of lumber and ores they only receive enough credits in a year to maintain their small fleet, pay for their troops and keep the factory maintained with only a few thousand credits left over that are placed into a private account for future needs.

Notes: With his short travels, Kulan was able to procure a single, and aging Interdictor Class Cruiser from the old Revan Sith Empire. Its state of being nearly 300 years old makes it what many would call an antique, yet its managed to last that long. It was still holding a full compliment of Sith Interceptors when it was gained from the old dry dock that it was sitting in when Kulan found it mere months ago.

Notes: Much of the current military ground forces for the SDS are hired mercenaries and pirates from the surrounding area that are looking for a job and a steady and secure base of operations. The primary bulk of the forces is the militia of workers from the planet of Seltos that agreed to work for the SDS in order to defend their homes and the single factory on its pristine surface that produces most of the small amount of goods that the SDS ships to other worlds in the vicinity of Seltos.

The SDS is controlled by a council of thirteen members that hold control over all the operations of government in the SDS territories.
The Big Three: The heads of the SDS Council, the Big Three hold the most power and often the final say in anything that is related to the workings of the SDS, from financial gains, to military assets and everything far and few between.
The Listener: The head of all SDS Intelligence and Under cover operations. The Listener is in charge of the gathering and flow of information and back door deals that take place with in the SDS.
High Air Marshal: The head of all naval forces of the SDS, the High Air Marshal is the single highest rank of all naval personal. He/She is in charge of maintaining a strong fleet, protecting the SDS borders and spearheading any plans of conquest set out by the SDS Council.
Supreme Commander: The head of all ground forces of the SDS, the Supreme Commander is the single highest rank of all military personal. He/She is in charge of maintaining a strong armed force, protecting the planets in SDS territory, ensure the highest amount of troops with recruitments, and makes all plans along with the High Air Marshal when it comes to invading other planets.
Directors: The Directors are a group of seven individuals pulled from the various civilian and military ranks of SDS personal and are appointed the Directors of a specific department

3603 BBY: The SDS is formed by Kulan, using the name of Gaiden Xaldus to keep his true identity unknown from the exchange who are still looking for their walking weapon that they spent millions of credits on creating.
3603.2 BBY: The SDS acquire their first and currently only ship, an aged Interdictor Cruiser that once served the Revan Sith Empire, as well as a full compliment of its fighters.
3603.5 BBY: Kulan takes the first SDS ship to the world of Seltos and uses it to intimidate the people into submitting to his rule. He then goes on to hire a handful of mercenaries to take control of the few towns he can, before hiring the local populace to act as a militia force to protect the single massive factory on the surface of the planet.
3603.7 BBY: The SDS begin to manufacture oddities in their factory, shipping them to the surrounding worlds of Kalinda, Nigel, Roldalna, Ropagi, Pax, and Opiteihr, as well as lumber and metal ores from the natural resources of the planet.
3603.10 BBY: The SDS barely keeps afloat in their first few months, their meager production and exportation of resources and goods procure enough credits to pay for their small military force, keeping their small fleet maintained, as well as keeping the factory up and running, leaving only a few thousand credits left off to be saved for later use in the future.
3602 BBY: Current Date. The SDS continues to work and advance on the meager amount of credits they are capable of saving from their various productions. Loaning out the saved credits to various other small groups and coming back later to gather their money owed, often at an interest rate of 50% - 75%
