Well, whatever changes... it shouldn't affect you and Ghostie's part, with the Jedi rescue (I think).


My preliminary thinking is this:

1). Finish off Ina's kidnapping thread with Grey's character, obviously.
For the interrogation thread with her and her father, find either another thug to join Darvek or perhaps another Sith to replace lmr's Sobi, perhaps an 'associate' of hers.
Continue with the rescue thread as planned.

2). Same as above but just skipping the interrogation part and go right to the rescue.

3). ... I can't remember the third; probably a combination of above.

*shrugs* Sounds reasonable to me. If everyone is still on board. It has been a while.

Well, it's just you two, Ghostie, and me (and maybe Tal). The cast of characters hasn't really changed much.


I'm thinking #2 will be easier, for various reasons. But I may try to put out feelers for a 'new' Sith and just see what I find.

Okay, starting a search for a replacement Sith/bad guy... seeing what pops.

The thought is that Sobi has decided to just hire this job out (except for being hands on with Dr. Rand's kidnapping). And so now Grey's Darvek and NPC (assuming you're keeping on the Gamorrean, Grey) and this new baddie/Sith will be in charge of Ina and her father, upon Sobi's instructions.

And then the rescue and further should follow as already planned.

Update:

With the first Into Thin Air thread completed, and the second soon to be, the next phase will be soon forthcoming.

Since there's been no interest in playing the Sith NPC, in order to move things along, I've decided to NPC him/her. (If this is all right with everyone; I understand if you feel me playing three characters in one thread might be excessive, even if it is my plot/story/thread).

I think I'll still go with a bit of the interrogation but cut it short, so we can get to the rescue part.


The next two threads (which should be up soon) will be as follows:

Coruscant thread -- Ofi goes in search of help and enlists the aid of Jedi (Ghostie and jutz). They leave for Boz Pity.

Boz Pity thread -- (after mini prologue with Sith baddie NPC and Dr. Rand), Darvek brings Ina to secret facility and delivers her into hands of NPC Sith/baddie. Some conversation/questioning/etc. about Dr. Rand's research/etc. Rescue arrives in the form of the Jedi and Ofi.

[Still unsure whether Tal will be involved or not in either of these].

Anyway, I did have a question for you, Ghostie and Jutz --
When Ofi comes to the temple for help, how did you want to play this? I mean, obviously Ofi can't just fly into the temple proper, looking for any Jedi she sees and enlist their help. Even if she went in the public entrance. Also, do you want her to run into Kalan first, who then goes looking for his master Rune? Or the other way around?


And Grey -- Once Darvek drops Ina off to where her father is being held, do you want him to stick around in the background? I don't want to freeze you out of this, but it's up to you whether you think he'll have enough to do until help arrives. Obviously he would be some help against the rescuers, but until then... maybe help with restraining Ina or her father? Or maybe with interrogation/light torture (if it comes to that)? Or just stand in the corner and look menacing?

I think Darvek can stay in. I don't think he would have the nerve or motivation to torture people, but if he can stand around and look menacing than by all means.

As for having something to do, I could probably have him banter with my NPC until help arrives, then do whatever he chooses to do from there.

The thread for Ofi to run into Kalan (juzt) ... and then request help from him and Rune (Ghostie).

Okay, second Into Thin Air thread is closed. So now we can focus on the imprisonment and rescue parts.

I & L -- just need Grey in here for now with Darvek and NPC, as well as Ina and my NPCs... until we're ready for the Jedi and Ofi.

Call to Arms -- Ofi and Kalan are headed Rune's way, so Ghostie, you're up in another post or two.

All right, it appears about 95% certain that Ghostie will not be joining us for this (or anything on SWU), so we need to come up with a plan B here.

Ideas?

Juzt has offered up his knight, instead of his padawan joining Ghostie's master. And so then it would be just her and Ofi going after to rescue Ina. Though this seems a bit uneven of a fight, I think it's our best bet to move forward with this. I'll try to see if I can find another Jedi, but I'll let you know, it's not promising. (My RP requests seem to go ignored). So unless one of you can get someone to join us... I think this will be the plan. But I'm willing to discuss other ideas, better ideas, if you have them.

If worst comes to worst I can try playing both Kalan and Reiko but that would be a big ask.
