Ok!

So, I had this idea rolling around in my head for the last couple days, and I brought it up with sparra and Max. The start of the plan/operation will be within my post.

So here's the deal.

What Hervor (Allvitende) is going to do is send a detachment of...
Demolitionists...

and Engineers...


with Dutch, Rugs, and Cain's respective chars' task forces. The reason being, the base can withstand heavy artillery being dropped on it for far too long of a time than what Sith ground forces are willing and able to dish out. So, these detachments are being sent off to drill into the steep bluff/cliff face that one of the base's walls is resting upon to essentially get into and under the base's foundation. Heavy explosives will then be planted and set off, blowing out a chunk of the foundation of that wall. Massive structures like a huge fortress or castle, they cannot support their own weight without a foundation. Hell, not even houses can. And you see it with a lot of immense structures resting on cliff-faces or steep bluffs, a section of the bluff simply erodes away, and the structure's own weight causes sections of it to literally tear off of it. Same principle being applied here. The explosive blows out a portion of the fortress' foundation for that particular wall, and the wall's own weight is too immense for it to sustain, and so that section of the wall winds up being torn right off of it, thus causing a breach into the Republic base.

Basically how this is going to work is each task force is going to be drilling into that steep bluff face to plant the explosives. Naturally the Republic forces aren't going to be taking too kindly to this, and will thus be attacking with their own soldiery and artillery. Thereby, the three respective Siff task forces will have to protect their demomen and engineers while they do their thing.

In the end, all but one will succeed in creating a breach. Two will fail and be forced to retreat--drama! But one will succeed in creating the breach.

As sparra put it, like armageddon except people are shooting at Bruce Willis.

Add lightsabers to the mix, and that's pretty much bang on.

So which team will be the one who does the boom? I can opt out if needed, since Dire Wolf and I wanted to have our forcies duel/ scare the poop outta the Wampas (lol)

This is wonderful timing Honog not for him being the HERO but in help of the mission. While the drilling teams are going Honog could be putting the pressure to the other sides, Rock crusher. lol What do you's think?

Mmmm, them being separate is an interesting proposition, since I know Cain and I have, for the most part, been planning to keep Nieraan and Jack together as a unit of sorts in the battle, since they play well to each other's strengths. Perhaps they could merge them and take some losses on the way. It's not like they (well, Nieraan at least) have much experience leading soldiers in battle. Lead a big(er?) group, take some good casualties on the way, still get the job done at the very end with some suspense along the way. Feasible?
