Name: Xiin Obairu
Race: Human
Age: 12
Height: 4'10"
Weight: 94 lb.
Appearance:
Short, raven black hair is swept up into bangs right above this youth's face. As a Youngling, Xiin is required to maintain a very plain appearance.
If anything, the child's face only shows how young this boy is, as he has not reached any form of puberty as of yet. It is still full of "baby fat," leaving the boy's face quite round. Still, one could say he may have his growth spurt soon, if not already on the way to one.
Xiin is adorned with simple tan Jedi robes and a cloak that only falls to the boy's knees. Around his waist is the standard Jedi utility belt that contains the boy's inventory and a attachment point for his training saber. Because of the boy's "loner" tendencies, he's often found with his hood pulled over his head, as to not be recognized and called upon.
Upon his feet are a pair of leather boots, although they look quite similar too combat boots, they lack the weight that soldiers use. This of course, is to keep the youngling's weight low and allow them to use their speed to their advantage.
Personality:
Unlike many Jedi, Xiin has an incredibly hard time grasping the "Jedi Way". Perhaps everyone has issues with these same things; however, he feels as if that is true, they're a great deal better at hiding it than he is.
Xiin is incredibly impatient, and has a short temper. For that same reason, he feels inept as a supposedly to-be "Peacemaker" of the galaxy. Truthfully, he is actually relieved that it is a time of war, as it will later allow him to forego such talks of peace and political managements.
The boy is also somewhat of a loner, seeing as how his "views" do not match or correspond correctly with those around him. It's not as though the boy does not wish for friends, he just finds it difficult to find them.
Because of all this, Xiin's inner feelings are swarmed with loneliness and many teachers fear that he will fall to the dark side.
One thing is clear; however, Xiin has a lot of learning to do in order to mature into his young teens.

Bio:
Pre-discovery
The life of a simple farmer on Dantooine is nothing too special. But that was what Xiin's father was. He was nothing but a simple farmer who wanted nothing but peace of mind for him as his family. However, it would seem that the force was not kind enough to a humble man.
At the time, Xiin was not even a year old. Everything was perfect for his family. That is, until a few bandits accidentally set fire to the family barn while search for food, stock, and other valuables to steal.
The truth is that no matter what time or era it is, there will always be people who are desperate. Desperation caused the bandits to rob the Obairu family, causing the accidental death of the old Obairu and his wife in the fire.
Xiin was left alive, probably because the bandits hadn't noticed him but there are those who have said it was the will of the force. But then again, Jedi always said that about everything and anything that happened.
It wasn't until an aging Jedi Watchman named Tores Wvain arrived on a scene that Xiin's life truly started.
Discovery
Having been delivered at a Jedi Enclave, it had been known to the Jedi Order that Xiin was sensitive to the force. However, Xiin's parents, not wanting to lose their son, refused to give up their child to the Order. Everything about that changed the moment Wvain stumbled upon the young Obairu. As Xiin's rescuer, the old watchman swore that the boy would receive proper training in the ways of the force should the child survive the ordeal.
Rushing the infant to a nearby infirmary, the watchman watched tirelessly as the young Xiin barely clung to life after such a desire. Many of the medical staff insisted that the boy stood no chance, his lungs already having breathed too many toxic fumes from the smoke.
Wvain disagreed; however, saying that it was the will of the force that brought him upon the sight and upon the child. Perhaps he was right, as in due time the health of the infant began to turn around. After two months in a hospital, the child was finally conscience; however, it would seem that one of his lungs had collapsed as a result of the disaster.
Thanking the force that the boy was at least among the living, the old watchman immediately took the child to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, where he would be trained in the ways of the force.
Youngling
As a youngling, the small child known as Xiin Obairu excelled in one thing and one thing only. It was lightsaber combat. However, what he had in combat skills, he severely lacked in his skill with wielding the force.
Many teachers questioned his ability as a Jedi to begin with, seeing as he attempted to "bend the force" to his will, rather than "flow with the force." They were deeply troubled by this, as it was a tactic used mostly by those of the Sith when wielding the force.
However, when brought to his attention, Wvain immediately disregarded them. To him, Xiin was a miracle child that was meant to die on that day those years before.
"It is the will of the force that he is here." Wvain would always repeat to anyone who seemed trouble by Xiin's presence.
As far as Xiin's relations with other younglings, he felt the constant need to prove himself as he was incredibly lacking in his understanding of the force. In many lightsaber duels, he would push himself too hard and end up injuring his opponents. As a result, his teachers grew more wary of him, and his peers grew more distant from him.
Xiin's life took another dark turn the moment the Sith Empire decided to attack Dantooine. Wvain, as one of the Enclave's defenders, fell that day. In fact, many of the Order's older generation did not make it to see another sun rise. Dantooine became the grave for Jedi and Sith alike. In the end, it was the Jedi who had to flee back to Coruscant.
Xiin never even had the chance to see Wvain's body get buried in the nearest trench available.
Now he is beginning to grow older within the Temple walls of Coruscant, and the chances of his finding a master are beginning to look bleaker and bleaker. Most Masters who come by seem displeased by his behavior, saying that he is too likely to fall to the dark side.
Perhaps he should just give up hope, and wait for the day that they send him to the Corps.

"rrrRRRaauggghhh!" Came the high-pitched voice of a child who had not yet even reached an age of pubescence. His name was Xiin Obairu, nicknamed as the unwanted one. Was it lonely, to be called a liability of the darkside? Of course it was, and it hurt too. But he was a Jedi, and Jedi were to show no emotions.
Unless he was alone, of course.
And that's why he was alone at this moment, slashing and stabbing away at a couple target dummies. "Every- single- one- of of them!"
------- Twenty minutes prior -------
"This duel is issued to measure your skill with a lightsaber," came the voice of one of the Jedi instructers, "Master Onearo will be watching from the standing and be choosing a Padawan today from one of you."
Xiin was excited. Anxious, but also excited. He finally might have the chance to become a Padawan learner! All he had to do is defeat the weakling that stood next to him. There would be no issue there. If he was tested in the ways of the force, he would worry... but this was a duel! His area of expertise!
With a smirk, the youngling pulled out his training saber and lazily toggled the switch, listening as a familiar hum sparked to life.
"You should give up now," Xiin proudly taunted, "there's no way you can beat me!"
His opponent looked nervous. However, both of them knew that they were both on the border of the desperation, if they didn't find a master soon, they could face the corps, or worse... expulsion.
"Xiin Obairu," Xiin's opponent responded, turning on his own saber, "Jedi do not fight to win, we only fight to keep those around us safe for as long as possible."
"What a bunch of kriffin' nonsense." Xiin retorted, rolling his eyes and effectively throwing off his opponent with the use of his foul language. "This ends now!"
With that, Xiin sprung forward, lightsaber burning through the air.
--------- Back to real-time --------
He had won alright, but he had never seen someone look so disgusted at him.
"You're a Jedi," the master had said, "where in the galaxy did you learn to fight like a Sith?!"
The words had stung, deeper than anyone would ever know. However, Xiin couldn't let anyone know, he wouldn't. After all, he was a Jedi.
Jedi had no emotion, at least in public.
With a growl, the child launched himself at the dummies again.
