Setting ------------------------
Planet - Coruscant Location - Jedi Temple When? - 5 Years Ago....
------------------------
Cassy; the young Padawan with an attitude problem, strolled through the halls of the Jedi Temple. Surrounded by a small entourage of female Jedi; two Twi'leks and one other human, she strolled.
Her light tan and dark tan robes contrasted mildly with her start green eyes; the robes overlay concealed her overly developed hips and chest for a seventeen year old.
"So, I know we're not supposed too but.....I have a crush on this one other Padawan, oh my gosh he's so dreamy, he makes my tendrils twitch!" one of the Twi'leks exclaimed.
"Don't act on it!" the other human Jedi; a blond with blue eyes said towards one of the two red hued Twi'leks walking with them. "You're not even supposed to be talking like that!" visibly; her face was turning red, as the subject of boys didn't seem to be one that she liked to visit.
The other two Twi'leks noticed this, and the one who'd made the statement laughed a little at her insecurity when it came to boys.
"Awww; there's no harm in looking, but when you start getting crushes....." Cassy gave a warning, however jesting, look towards her Twi'lek companions who both rolled their eyes and smirked as the four of them continued walking in silence.
The set of four tan Padawan robes came into the large circular Antechamber at the very entrance to the Jedi Temple. The staunch and wide beam of daylight pouring in from outside the Jedi Temple; as speeders and hovercars could now be seen whizzing by all of the two story glass windows that were placed into the wall like great clear columns through the structure of the building.
The Cassy and one of the Twi'lek sat on some of the steps that circled the room in a circular; cake like fashion as the blonde human Padawan and the other Twi'lek stood in front of them. The huddle of feminine Jedi continued to talk; and giggle here and there. Cassy had one elbow resting on her knee; and her hand resting on her face as she listened to the various accounts of her peers, single braid coming down from the back of her head; it was a thick long braid; more than a foot long and thrown over the shoulder of her brown robes as she relaxed. A single strand of hair fell in front of her green eyes as she pushed it aside, relaxing both hands on the side of her face after doing so.

Sirius walked back through the Temple from the main hangar. He had just finished tearing apart and putting back together one of the engines on a Jedi Knight’s starfighter. With the Jedi Knight’s supervision of course. Though the Bothan’s supervision wasn’t that necessary, or so Sirius thought. After all, it was just routine maintenance.
One of the power couplings had blown out during an exercise above Coruscant, around one of the moons. Limping the fighter back to the Jedi Temple, the Bothan had requested aid in repairing it. Master Kellar had ended up knowing the Knight, though Sirius couldn’t recall his name now. The three of them spent the better part of the afternoon looking for a spare power coupling and then replacing it.
Sirius had made a remark that with proper maintenance, the Bothan could’ve avoided a blown power coupling. All he had to do was tune them once and awhile. This hadn’t gone over every well, though Sirius wasn’t wrong. Master Kellar sent Sirius back to his quarters and gave him the rest of the day to do with as he would. Though, Sirius had overheard Master Kellar saying to the Bothan that he would talk to Sirius about the incident later.
Which probably meant he was going to get a good lecture about when to open his mouth or not to, and what to say around those who have more authority than you do. It would be the second time in a week. Sirius hated these talks, he knew he wasn’t wrong. So what was so bad about a padawan pestering a Knight about a tune up so his fighter wasn’t incapacitated?
The young man walked through one of the antechambers of the Temple, close to the main entrance. His sleeves were rolled up, and his heavy brown cloak was forgotten back in his quarters.
Sirius had smudge marks from grease and other dirty engine parts all over his arms, his robes, and even a little on his face. Sirius had since removed his glasses, placing them in a pouch on his belt, they were too dirty to see out of properly. Even his silver lightsaber hilt had a smudge of dirt across it.
The antechamber was pretty much deserted. There was a pair of Jedi, a Twi’lek and a Mon Calamari, conversing near the entrance. And besides them there was a group of four girls, some sitting and other standing, conversing near the middle of the room.
Sirius and seen a couple of them around before, though he didn’t know any of their names. One stood out to him though, one of the humans. Not the blonde, but the one with darker hair. She was sitting, resting her face in her hands. Sirius found her… was pretty the right word? He didn’t know. Sirius was never good when talking with girls. It wasn’t exactly a class that the Jedi Order taught.
His feet seemed rooted in place though. He had to head back to his quarters and clean up. But suddenly, he didn’t really want to. To try and seem less awkward, he looked around the room, and went to one of the windows, looking out at the multitude of speeders passing by.

Cassy wondered for a moment if the three of them would ever cease for a moment of silence; perhaps admiration around them. They would not of course.
"No; that's not stretching the code." one of the orangish Twi'ek padawans said, shaking her head in protest and looking down at the ground with a smile.
"It most certainly is!" the blonde padawan said in sarcastic yet serious tone.
A laugh was issued at the expense of telling a male he had 'no chance even if they weren't Jedi', was too harsh and crude of a remark too make. Cassy rolled her eyes and smirked; face still in her hands as they sat on the stairs of the legendary entrance antechamber. Cars whizzing by continuously; although there weren't many others in the room.
"What we say is of no consequence; it is what we do that matters my psychopathic padawan compatriots---" one of the Twi'lek gave Cassy a playful kick in the chins as she said this as Cassy raised her hands in defense, leaning back with a laugh. "But seriously...boys are easy enough to manipulate already, why waste any thought on them? It's technically against the code....."
All three of the other girls said 'technically' outloud, prompting another laugh as Cassy's green eyes sifted around the antechamber.
Her Master; Master Shara was conversing with a Mon Calamari Jedi Master near the entrance too the temple; bathed in the light from outside in the only wide colomn of light cast throughout the center into the round antechamber. For awhile; her eyes settled on her master. A small zone out and a smile later, she noticed another person entering the room from her left.
Another padawan....a boy. She watched him for a moment but then took her eyes off of him; as he was covered in grime. She began to re-braid her stunningly long braid, crossing her legs as they sat and stood around the low steps.
"Oh my rancor....it's him." one of the female Twi'lek padawans said; leaning over and pointing to the gritt covered blonde. He looked exactly the same age as Cassy, perhaps a year give or take. But the same nonetheless. The other Twi'lek was rolling her eyes, and even the other blonde Jedi female stared silently, though a look of protest crossed her eyes; though she seemed to be staring at the boy Padawan as if to judge what the uproar was about.
Cassy, sitting and re-braiding the long braid that flowed over her brown robes sat upright elegantly with her blazing hazel green eyes centered on Sirius with her legs crossed.
In a moment of 'if you look, all the girls are staring you down', they inspected him as he stood near the window from across the antechamber.

Don’t look, it’ll be weird. Don’t look, it’ll be weird. Don’t look…
Sirius was having a hard time just starring out the window. Even that became awkward after a while. The speeders became less interesting. Sirius flipped around and rested against the window frame for awhile, looking at the masters, and all around the room for a minute. His brown braid flopped around to his back as he did so, resting on the back of his shoulder.
Force, why do they have to be so intimidating?
Sirius took his chances. He looked over at the group of girls and smiled. It just so happened that as he looked over, Sirius’s eyes fell on the dark haired girl, the one he found pretty. He couldn’t quite make out her features without his spectacles, though. No sooner did he smile though, that he felt it falter.
No, he couldn’t stay around here anymore. It was defiantly time to leave. Nonchalantly getting up from the window sill and walking across the room, Sirius left. Once his feet had entered the hallway, he sped his pace up, as if he overstayed his welcome.
Later
Sirius was much cleaner than before. With a new batch of robes on, and his heavy brown cloak with him, he walked back through the Temple. His rather plain lightsaber hilt was back to its silvery gleam, and his glasses were clear, back on his face.
He really didn’t know why, but Sirius found himself walking back to the antechamber where he had seen the group of girls. Maybe there’d be less of them this time around. With less of them, maybe they’d be less intimidating. Hopefully the dark haired girl would be back.
Maybe Sirius could actually learn her name this time around.

Cassy and her friends inspected him from afar; for awhile he didn't seem too notice them. Cassy's eyes went down to his feet and looked him up and down as she saw him wriggling a little. Yes; he definitely noticed them.
For awhile, he did nothing as the group of girls was content too simply stare as Cassy continued to work on her braid. She bounced her legs as she sat with them crossed once, just as she began doing so it seems he became more friendly.
He looked their way and casually cast a smile from the window, before suddenly beginning to walk across the center of the antechamber. All four of their eyes were on him as he crossed, Cassy's braiding speed, sped up as she finished the braid. Stroking it once and throwing it back over her shoulder.
He entered one of the three halls leading into the temple; and begin to stride off quite quickly in fact.
"Seems like he worries a lot..." Cassy commented
"That's only cause he noticed us!" the Twi'lek spat in his defense.
"Who cares if he did or not, what's the point?" the blonde Jedi girl said with a shrug. "At best if you got too know him you'd be allowed 'pretty company', is that all you want?" she made quotes with her hands as she stressed those two words, giggling.
"No it's not that; but I appreciate beautiful things.......frak." the Twi'lek said to herself, staring down the hallway Sirius had left down.
Cassy shook her head; a small smile forming on her mouth as she again looked towards her Master; who was crossing towards her as they spoke. When footsteps were heard; the padawans all leaped to their feet as Master Shara's robes swept up; brown and royal blue; embroidered with the finest golden sigils. The Jedi code in ancient dialects. Her hands were folded across her blue and brown robes; golden symbols starkly sparkling.
The four of them bowed deeply in their brown and tan robes.
"It's time we have some of what I like too call....'quiet' lunch." Master Shara spoke once; smirking to the group of four girls who looked up at her and silently bowed. Apparently things hadn't gone so well with the Mon Calamari Jedi Master she'd been conversing with, and she desired nothing more than quiet lunch.
She didn't want to separate Cassy from her clique however; and let the group of four female Padawans trail behind her for a silent...and relaxing lunch. They all enjoyed it; and none of them spoke during it. It was quite relaxing in fact; just as Master Shara had said it would be.
(3 Hours Later~~~~~)
Cassy walked the dusk lit corridors of the Jedi Temple. An orange glow cast throughout them from the grand windows and hanging halls; the beautiful 'nature' of Coruscants newly glowing lights for the evening beginning to flicker on. She loved the temple at dusk. The orange and amber glows cast throughout it's staunch amber colored corridors gave it a beautiful golden glow.
Her braid swinging just above her bottom; her brown robes swished as her laced boots headed back towards the entrance Antechamber. She was attempting to meet up with her blonde human friend; from Naboo in an attempt to work out a deal for a load of priceless goods. Pastries from Naboo's finest bakery. Apparently; her blonde friend had a sweet tooth and was willing to share. Cassy loved breads...a lot. So she'd attempt to indulge with her after they met up in the entrance halls again.
As she entered the antechamber. She immediately noticed the same boy padawan from earlier; his blonde hair and brown robes entering from another of the three large entrances to the antechamber at the precise moment Cassy entered.
She blinked a few times as they both entered at the same moment. Taking a few steps inside; a staunch orange glow was cast into the room from outside. It was brilliant.
Placing her hands behind her back; she pursed her lips with a "Hmph..." in his direction. Raising an eyebrow and looking away dignified. Her initial impression was being swayed due to her friends having crushes on him; this put her off a bit, as she'd take notice of plenty of boy padawans in her day. She shouldn't be caught up on this one regardless of what her friends thought.
She flung her long braid over her shoulder and began to stroke and tighten it as if by habit; leaning her head to the side casually as she did so. With an exhale; she waited for her friend. Her hazel green eyes settled once on the boy as she did so; but they'd lower into a 'hello?' look if he made eye contact with her.

Indeed, the dark haired girl from before was here. Now that he finally had his glasses, Sirius could see that his memory served him true. She was in fact pretty. He still wasn’t sure if that was the right word though. It wasn’t like he was going to ask though.
She looked at Sirius with her hands behind her back. She seemed pretty indifferent to him. That was comforting to him and not at the same time. Perhaps she didn’t care. But then again, she also didn’t have a giggling gang of girls with her this time around.
In fact, besides the two of them, the antechamber was now devoid of Jedi.
Sirius glanced out the window. It was one of the more brilliant things about Coruscant, it’s sunset. Somehow the orange and red and yellow colors could mesh with the skyline so fantastically that it was a sight to behold. Despite all the crime, and the overpopulation and the pollution, Coruscant remained a gem at the end of the day.
Sorta like the people in the galaxy, I guess.
Sirius walked over to the dark haired girl. He wasn’t trying to be coy or sneaky about it this time. Being one on one, it seemed to help his confidence. It was like fighting the holograms in the training room. One by itself wasn’t too much of a challenge. However, when you keyed in for multiples to come up, then you had to stay on your toes, be alert.
Sirius almost laughed at that thought, comparing girls to training exercises. Though, he thought that would be a little out of place. Instead, a smile broke out on his face as he tried to contain the laughter.
“I’m Sirius.”
There was a bit of silence for a second or so while he thought of what else to say. Jokes were good, right? They had to be, everyone loved to laugh.
“Your friends are quite intimidating. Given the chance, I think they could stare down an angry pack of Rancors.”
Oh Force, was that corny? I hope that wasn't corny...

Cassy stood in her brown and tan robes; her braid draped across her chest. She kept her hands behind her back and stood elevated on the three steps in the oval design of the antechamber.
Her thoughts mulled for a moment about Mon Calamari and wondered exactly what it was they ate as she stood there. A random thought no doubt; but one that was on her mind. The last thing that had been was the boy from earlier actually mustering the courage to come and say something too her.
A smile broke onto his features just as she raise her eyebrows in surprise. Their eyes met for what seemed like forever; as he introduced himself. Cassy did her best too never forget a face; it may have seemed like she was staring but it was just a by-product of her habitual technique of memorization.
When he made the comment about them staring down an angry pack of Rancors; she immediately imagined the huge hulking monstrosity drooling. This was enough to make her laugh heartily; putting a hand in front of her mouth to stifle it; shaking her head.
An amused smile pursed on her lips for awhile. It seemed for a moment; that she was going to simply laugh and ignore him. Looking away or moving on. However she stepped down the three steps and onto the floor of the antechamber. He was slightly taller now that she wasn't so elevated.
"Lallane Cassandra Novos..." the words "Lay-Lan-E" flowed off her lips as she performed a Jedi's bow towards him as she normally did when meeting one of her peers or better yet; a Knight or Master. "My friends......if you do plan to be one of those, call me, Cassy." she nodded at him with a staunch look. Moving on her eyes rolling and lips pressing together in a mildly disappointed manner, placing a hand on her hip and leaning to the side.
"So.....my friend has this...infatuation with you." Cassy divulged how her friend had practically stalked him around the temple for a week.
As they stood and conversed; another Jedi entered the antechamber. A padawan; a blonde one with long hair and blue eyes. She would look around the antechamber for a few moments; and then saw Cassy with Sirius standing near the center of the antechamber talking.
As soon as Cassy looked up and made eye contact with her; she knew she was in for a long day tomorrow. Her blonde friend rushed off immediately without coming down to speak; no doubt on the way too tell one of the Twi'lek twins that Cassy was moving in on her man in a wild assumption that only came natural to females. With a sigh; Cassy shook her head as she watched her friend trail off back down the hall she came in a hurry.
"Uh oh......"

There was a wave of relief that washed over Sirius as he watched the girl laugh at his joke. He smiled at the other padawan as she revealed her name. Lallane Cassandra Novos, or Cassy, for short. Sirius didn't really care for nicknames. He always called people by their proper name, but if that's what Lallane wanted, then he would do it.
She seemed to stare for a long time though. This made Sirius uneasy. Maybe there was still a smudge of dirt on his face somewhere? Sirius reached up and wiped his forehead just in case. He hoped he looked okay.
Then Cassy told him about this “infatuation” one of her friends had with Sirius. His eyes went wide as the padawan told him. Apparently this friend had been stalking Sirius as well. If that was the case, Sirius thought himself to be pretty oblivious to it. After all, he hadn't noticed anything weird.
“Well, your friend must've been pretty bored for the past week if she was stalking me.”
Sirius replied, smiling. It was true though, between practicing his saber forms and being underneath a starfighter or two, Sirius hadn't done much in the past week. What someone found attractive in that, he didn't know. People were attracted to others for all sorts of weird reasons, and sometimes they just didn't know why.
Cassy looked over Sirius shoulder and stared for a minute. After she uttered something that sounded like “uh-oh”, Sirius turned around to see what had happened. But he didn't turn quick enough, and all he saw was a brown cloak and blonde hair whipping back into the hallway it had came from.
“Whats wrong? Your friend?”
Sirius was still staring at the direction Cas's friend had taken off. Hopefully she wasn't too upset, that wasn't Sirius goal. But to tell the truth, Sirius didn't even know her name. He had come here to see Lallane, not her friend.
"I hope she wont be that upset."

((OOC: Color speech change due to laptop change at home))
Cassy let out a long drawn sigh, as she wondered what in the world her friend would do. What she would say, what misleading gestures she'd propose they'd taken.
"Ugh, I don't think she rushed off because she forgot her lightsaber..." the sarcasm flowed out of her mouth. She rolled her eyes and stared at the floor, the ridiculousness of it all. She let herself feel unemotional about the whole situation, now frankly---not giving a frak. He was just some other Padawan too her. A funny one albeit.
"So too what do I owe this honor?", she asked him in Huttese to see if he was from anywhere near the part of the galaxy she was....although meeting someone from else from the Outer Rims was rare at times.
Incase he didn't understand, she smiled and spoke again.
"I've never seen you around these parts before." she jested. "Well, come on then." she nodded, placing her hands behind her back and making toward a nod with her hear to the side with a smile signaling that she wanted him to walk with her.
After about twenty seconds of walking next to him in silence through one of the halls leading back into the Jedi temple, she spoke, stopping her gaze on him after staring out at the vivid orange and black sunsets casting over Coruscant's sparkling lights.
"So.....are you any good with that instrument of yours? Or are you just another boy who gets beat up like a girl?" she smirked, not even looking at him as they strolled side by side in their tan padawan underobes. She nodded towards his lightsaber and smiled. She wasn't challenging him, but she was interested to see what he said.

If that was the friend Cassy told Sirius about, and she ran off after seeing the two of them together...
Sirius finally put two and two together. Yes, he did indeed doubt that she ran off because she forgot her lightsaber. He hadn't wanted to affect a friendship. Someone had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now there could be jealously, or anger, or any mixture there of between the friends, and no one wanted that.
Cassy then said something in a language Sirius recognized, but didn't understand. It was Huttese, something Master Kellar knew, and kept saying he'd teach to Sirius. But they alwys ran out of time during the day. Sirius made a mental note to press Master Kellar for that lesson.
They walked for a while, out of the antechamber into one of the various hallways that came off of it. This particular one was the straightest shot to the Archives. Not soon after starting, Cassy motioned towards his lightsaber as asked if Sirius was any good.
“No, no. I make the others whine like little girls when they get beaten.”
Sirius answered with an air of confidence and a smile. It was true, saber combat had always been of his better aspects. Sirius knew there shouldn't be pride, but was it seriously so bad to feel good about his best skills?
“But in all seriousness, it is one of my better skills. I train constantly, I want to become a Shadow after my Trials.”
Constantly reminding himself and saying that, “I want to be a Shadow”, gave Sirius a goal to shoot for when things looked rough. Something to look forward too. Master Kellar always said it was good to have a plan, so Sirius kept it close, and didn't let anyone influence it.
“How about you?”

"Oh I've been known to numb a few faces in my day...." Cassy said with a chuckle. She of course referred to the lightsaber on it's training setting, which left a nasty numbing feeling, along with the pain of being hit wherever you happened just so happened to be.
The two swung through the halls, several other Jedi passed them, their robes a near mirror of Cassy and Sirius' tan and dark tan wrappings. Although a Master was easily spotted in more ornate, or customized robes here or there.
"But I've been learning Ataru, I can flip pretty nicely now...I'm quite the gymnast!" she cheesed and chuckled to herself. She enjoyed the fun of it, the sport itself. Being a gymnast was her pride and joy, an Ataru practitioner. "But I.....do shock myself mid-air sometimes when attempting the more advanced....Ataru...techniques...it's quite embarrassing...I hope you never have to see." she burst into a loud laughter as they walked.
The halls burst open wider, and wider, and wider. Until they approached a large antechamber. Grand runic doors stretched towering many stories above them, glistening in the orangish glow cast from the setting sun outside.
However, there was a problem. The bay glass doors, that themselves were larger than some houses in the city. Were halfway closed! The Librarian Jedi addressed some Knights and began to punch codes into the Archives. Shutting them down for the night.
"W-wait!" she called, she'd wanted to check out a holo sheet on Telepathic techniques. The Librarian looked up as she approached.
"Ah...........Lallane." she said with a small amount of disdain. Cassy had a habit of leaving snacks all around the Archives. Empty containers and such. She studied...and snacked. A lot. "I'm sorry.....the Archives are closed to Padawans at this hour." she said in an english accent, thick and dignified. Enjoying shutting Cassy out mildly with an innocent smile on her face. "I'll see you tomorrow.....no doubt." she gave a small smile and patted Cassy on the shoulder as she strode past in a swing of her tan with accented green robes.
"B---but...." Cassy was stunned as she stood baffled. Drat. The damn Librarian had foiled her again. Her rivalry with her continued. "She's foiled my plans. I must get in." Cassy mulled over how she could get a Knight or Masters access codes for the night in her mind, mumbling aloud verbally with her back to Sirius, plotting with a hand on her face.
"I've got it!" she turned to Sirius "We shall sneak in!" she said a bit too loudly, looking around with an 'ooops' expression briefly afterward. She blushed a little in front of Sirius before continuing. "There's....this....technique I wanted to try." for a moment she was silent, thinking on how she could get him to help. For awhile, she drew a blank. But then got an idea. "I know which areas have ducts and service halls leading into the Archives...we'll pop in from a Maintenance Closet......if you help." she grinned with a mischievous sparkle in her emerald eyes.
Before leaning in, standing on her tiptoes slightly to whisper something in Sirius' ears. She came down from her tip toe, standing directly in front and looking up to him. "I'll give you a kiss...a good one."[/i] is what she'd whispered to him. She wondered if....she would...and if infact she could pull it off if she tried. She'd never kissed a boy before. But she'd try. If.....they succeeded without getting caught.
She put her hands behind her back and rocked back and forth on her heels, waiting for an answer in front of him as she looked up into his features.

Sirius let Lallane lead the way through the Jedi Temple. He paid no attention to where they were going, and instead listened to his companion. It wasn't until they were at the Archive doors that Sirius at realized where Cassy was taking them.
Sirius hung back a ways as Cass conversed with the Librarian. The padawan seemed like she really wanted to get in to the Archives. For what though, Sirius didn't know. But the Librarian wasn't having any of it. The older woman keyed the doors closed, sealing the Archives for the night.
Cassy walked back a forth, she seemed to be plotting. Sirius just watched her, he had no strong feelings on whether or not the Archives were closed. To tell the truth, the only time he spent inside of them was studying saber techniques. The only reason Sirius was still around was to spend some more time with Lallane.
“Y'know, why don't we jus-”
"I've got it! We shall sneak in!"
Sirius was cut off by Cass in mid sentence, she had probably not even hear him talking. Sneak into the Archives? Sirius thought her to be crazy, if they were caught, anything could happen. Sirius had no idea what Master Kellar would do. The Old Man might actually explode if he heard his padawan had snuck into the Archives after hours with a girl.
Sirius didn't know what to say to her proposition. What would they even sneak in there for? Whatever it was, it could probably wait until tomorrow. Cass had formulated a plan, but needed Sirius's help. He had half a mind to just turn around and leaver her there. Until Cassy leaned up and whispered in his ear.
"I'll give you a kiss...a good one."
Sirius eyes went wide at Cassy's deal, help for a kiss. Sirius stared at her for a long moment, not sure what to say. He quickly found that she made him speechless quite often. He stared right into those emerald eyes. How could he not accept?
With caution thrown to the wind and rules forgotten, Sirius brushed past Cass without saying a word. Making his way over the the panel the Librarian used to close the doors, he pried the top casing off of it fairly quickly.
“Your plan is good, but you forgot that the Temple is the most secure place in the Galaxy. Those alarms would end our adventure real quick. Luckily for you, I've spent about two months in and out of it's systems.”
He had nothing else better to do when the Council was looking for a new master for him when Barren died. And it took his mind off of the pain. Of course, he hadn't been allowed dive into the Archive's systems, but no one had stopped him.
Handing the casing to Cassy without a backwards look, Sirius took a good look inside of the system. It was a simple enough mechanism, a couple of wires and a power supply. But this was just for the alarm. To actually open the door, Sirius needed the code that the Librarian knew.
“I can't actually open the Archives from here, I need the code for that.”
Sirius examined the system, looking for a bypass. Disabling the actual alarm would take more time than they had, so that was out of the question. However, if they power supply came out, the alarm would then be inactive.
Taking the ends of the wires out of the power supply one at a time, Sirius tried not to bump anything sensitive. The wires came out with ease, and the power supply came out when the last one was out. Sirius caught the device before it hit the ground, and pocketed it in one of the many pouches on his belt.
“That's done. Shouldn't be a problem now.”
Sirius walked down the hall the maintenance closet Cassy mentioned earlier. The door opened to reveal a miniscule room only big enough for a couple brooms, a mop and a bucket. One person may have been able to fit inside.
The grate to the duct was near the top, and Sirius now saw why Cass needed his help. They couldnt reach it on their own, Sirius was going to have to give her a boost. He motioned for her to move inside.
“Ladies first.”

Cassy watched nervously as Sirius began to work with the same keypad as the Librarian Jedi had. She looked over her shoulder down the hall directly behind her. Empty. No one was on the way here. She gave it an extra seven second stare, before turning back to Sirius.
Something was put into her hands as he reached back, her mentality was racing so her hands took it from him without her even noticing as she bounced up and down on her heels. 'Yes....this might work...I may get my hands on that Forbidden Technique after all...fufufufu.' she plotted for awhile in her mind about what she'd do with it once she had it. But one step at a time.
She looked over her shoulder once more, holding the....casing of the keypad before she heard three or four loud clicks and whirs. Sirius had done it. There wouldn't be an alarm system once they got in. Cassy tip toed forward with her shoulders raised high, and attempted to fit the casing back on to the keypad. It fit perfectly, sliding into place as if nothing had happened.
Albeit Sirius had a piece of the mechanism in his pocket. They made their way over to the nearby maintenance closet, sliding inside which looked very inappropriate, one after the other after Sirius decided to act like somewhat of a gentlemen. Once inside, Cassy immediately looked up to the grate, ignoring the metal shelves of cleaning sprays, buckets, and mops.
The grate already glowed with the serene light, light blue light that emanated from the Archives at all times due to the massive amount of blue holo sheets stacked throughout it's several story shelves.
"OK....OK now give me a boost....like this, like this!" Cassy, bossy as ever in her youth moved Sirius by his shoulders to a perfect position under the grate. "OK....I'm going up on your shoulders....don't fall, get ready!" Cassy said as she backed up near the door, and then did a running leap. Her legs were slung over Sirius' shoulders as if they were playing 'chicken in the pool'.
Hopefully he didn't crash forward from the weight. When stable, Cassy would slowly attempt a rise with one knee, and then stand suddenly to grab the grate with her bare hands. Her feet now firmly planted on either of Sirius' shoulders as she stood above him.
"Oh....I see!" four screws at each corner of the grate began to turn as Cassy moved the Force with pressure to the left. Lefty loosey after all. Eventually the grate came loose as Cassy undid it with the Force, and fell directly on top of Cassy who crashed downwards into Sirius.
Outside the closet....it would sound like a loud crash came from within, a disastrous attempt at stealth indeed. Cassy lay belly down on top of Sirius, metal grate on her back. Her chest pressed against his. She felt the weight of the grate on her back.
"Uh.........sorry." they were very close, as she was being held down towards his face by the grate on top of them both. Cassy immediately began blushing wildly as she felt his body on hers the longer they lay there, his arms, his chest, his stomach... In another crash of the grate Cassy rose to her feet in an instant to get off of Sirius, the grate slammed into a shelf behind them causing another loud bang as Cassy brushed herself off repeatedly and then shook herself.
"No...it's not you it's just....I've never been that close to a boy...bef-----awww frack it, the grates off let's go. We should be able to jump that high. In a sway of her curvy Padawan robes, Cassy positioned herself below the open air duct, and leaped up in a blur.
She held onto the air duct, and pulled herself up into it at a crawl. She turned and looked down at Sirius beaming.
"Come on you!" she whispered once. They'd nearly caused an earthquake in the Maintenance closet. She was happy to have made it this far as she righted herself and turned to crawl through the air ducts when Sirius joined her. "It's a good view back there...I'm sure." she referred to her bottom as it would bounce left to right in front of Sirius as they made their way through the air ducts. Eventually, they came to another vent. They were a good ten feet from the floor of the Library.
There was enough room for them to lay elbow to elbow shoulder to shoulder, and look down into the vent into the Archives now in this four way intersection of air ducts. She motioned for Sirius to come lay next to her and look down into the vent.
"Any ideas? My plan was......noisy." after a brief delay she'd look up to Sirius next to her, pushing a loose lock of hair from infront of her face. "What.......it's true...it was noisy...I fell.....so what." she slapped Sirius in the back of the head playfully, she knew he was thinking that he shouldn't have gotten himself into this. After the head slap, Cassy leaned over and kissed him on the cheek before he could reply with anything. "There....a little preview." her hormones raced, that was the first time she'd planted her lips on a boy. It replayed in her mind, her lips softly curving onto his cheek....NO! The mission wasn't accomplished yet.
"Alright so.......I can't see anybody..." just as she said so, a group of Knights...still allowed to be in the archives made their way past the vent from below. Cassy watched them, they appeared to be leaving. "Looks like...check out time.....how many groups should we wait to pass? We've gotta...guess which group was the last group before we drop down......" Cassy looked over to Sirius, flecking her eyes once up and down at him. The chopped blue glow cast from the Archives below on his face from the vent made him look......well, moving on.
Cassy would stare back down into the Archives.

Sirius stood exactly where Cass wanted him to. The plan was simple enough, She was going to jump up onto his shoulders and unscrew the grate. Then she would get in, and lift him up. Sirius kicked a couple of the buckets and mops out of the way, so they had some extra room. The buckets went tumbling out into the hallway, and the mops fell down.
Sirius saw Cassy winding up for a running jump. He turned around to face the grate, that way it wasn't... awkward once she hopped on top of him. He heard her run, and the jump. In moment she was siting on top of his shoulders.
Had she tried to attempt the maneuver before Sirius was training under Master Kellar, he probably would've collapsed under her. That was not to say she was heavy, in fact, she was anything but. When Sirius was training with Barren, they didn't work very much on physical aspects besides saber combat. Kellar had beefed the boy up though. He would be okay like this... for awhile, at least.
“Just hurry.”
Cassy stood up and began unscrewing the bolts ho,ding the grate in. Sirius grabbed her ankles to give her some extra support. One, two, three screws were out so far. Every one of them had hit Sirius in the head. When they came down he scrunched his face up so they didn't hit his eyes. The last one came out, and then down came the grate. And Cass.
"Uh.........sorry."
She landed on top of him face first, so they were starring at each other. It was as if there was a blushing contest going on. Sirius could she her own cheeks turning color, and he could feel the heat in his. Part of him, a large part, was extremely nervous and stunned. He had never been that close to a girl before, let alone having one on top of him.
And then another part of him was... excited, for lack of a better term. Their torsos were pressed against each other, Sirius could feel her body on top of his. Her hair was in his face for a moment before she moved it, and those emerald eyes looked right into his blue ones.
Cass got the grate off of her back and got up rather quick. Sirius propped his elbows up, so that he was almost in a sitting position. That was quite the awkward experience, but it wasn't bad awkward, at least he didn't think so. He just didn't know what to do now.
Cassy tried to make a explanation, but she gave up. As she used the Force to jump up to the grate, Sirius stood up just in time for her to turn around and tell him to hurry up. She sure was bossy, but Sirius didn't mind too much anymore. Taking off his cloak, Sirius mimicked her own jump up to the grate.
They started to crawl through the duct, Cass leading the way. It was a rather short crawl, his lightsaber hitting against the metal all the way making a 'ding' sound. Archives were right there. Srius just hoped that Cassy didn't take a wrong turn. She looked over her shoulder and called back to him then.
"It's a good view back there...I'm sure."
“It's like you're trying to make me perverted, woman.”
In fact Sirius had been doing his best to look at the bottom of the duct, to avoid the sight. But he looked up on occasion, such when she was talking to him. And yes, he had to agree, it was a great view. As Master Kellar would often say “Jedi are suppose to be like monks, doesn't mean they don't have feelings or urges. They just have to do their best to ignore them.”
Yeah, ignoring them was working out real great right now.
They finally reach the end of the duct, and there was room enough for two to lay at the opening. Before Cass had even motion Sirius forward, he was already moving for a better look. They were laying shoulder to shoulder, as close as they were before. The only difference this time is that they weren't face to face. It was still awkward, if only because they could move much.
"Any ideas? My plan was......noisy."
“Understatement of the century.”
Sirius snorted. He would be surprised if half the Jedi Order didn't come down around them. Sirius was having a hard time trying to figure out how he got into this mess. All this trouble for one girl? Sirius should've turned back when he could.
“I don't know why I even - ”
Then Lallane slapped Sirius in the back of the head. It was a playful slap, but still surprising to him, which warranted the yelp that came from him.
“Ow! Hey, I - ”
But then he was instantly quieted by Cassy's next move. She pecked him on the cheek. Sirius was stunned. He had no idea what to say or do. She wasn't going to let him get a word in edge-wise, one way or another.
“Right... That's why I came.”
Sirius said in a soft voice. He had realized he had even said that out loud until it was out there. He rubbed the spot here her lips had met his cheek tenderly. Doing that, Sirius zoned out for a minute. Cass asked if he had a plan, which snapped him out of his daydream.
“Guess when all the groups are gone? You aren't a Jedi, are you?”
Sirius asked with a smile. It would be simple to tell when everyone was gone, just expand his senses, and wait for everyone to leave. He looked at Cassy again, the blue light shone off of her hair and her eyes. Sirius found it hard to look at her after awhile and not get distracted.
It took awhile but soon one, two, and then all three groups were gone from the library, along with the librarian. Sirius didn't bother unscrewing the grate, and instead just hit it until it came off, the bent piece of metal fell onto the balcony on the otherside.
“There, now we've both made some noise.”
But Sirius wasn't worried about it too much. The Archives would be closed to everyone for the rest of the night. He climbed out of the grate, but because ehe was facing forward it was more of a fall. Being the perfect gentleman he was Sirius stood up, brushed himself off, and turned around. He offered his hand to Cassy, that way she didn't have to embarrass herself as well.
“Now, what're you looking for?”

As they looked down into the Archives together, Sirius said something about using his Sensing abilities to check everything out. She zoned out when looking at him a bit....she was right about one thing. Boys were easy to manipulate, but gosh he was so charming about everything. Most boy Padawans she met were rude know it all types....sure; he'd called her 'woman', which...made her feel powerful and insulted somehow from his tone at the same time. She didn't know what to make of it.
He had somewhat of a smart mouth two.....they did have some things in common after all. Perhaps she was wrong about him....she should've did this alone...if they got in trouble...she might still reward him regardless. 'What was she thinking?', they were like beautiful flowers in the garden....you never knew which would be poison...she'd picked a flower. Crap. Her master had warned her against boys. She'd have to keep Sirius even closer so as not to be discovered after this.
The problem was that she'd grown fond of his immediate action and charm. Different than other Padawans, definitely. Just like her.
A couple loud bangs later, and she shook her head. Pushing her hair back behind her face by habit after zoning out in thought about him. A loud bang later, and the grate fell down into the Archives.
"-______O" she gave him a look that said 'you couldn't be anymore stealthy than THAT?, she continued to look at him in this manner until he fell out of the grate into the Archives. She sighed and poked her head out of the grate into the archives. "And I was just about to tell you how dashing you were!" she said, taking his hand and jumping down.
The multiple shelves of clear blue holo sheets lay sitting against one another. It was extra dark in here, since it was closed. The blue glow, and their tan robes glowed brightly upon their features.
He asked her what they were looking for, she raised a finger towards his face as she looked at him. And pushed his glasses back straight onto his face, slowly and perfectly.
"There's....a technique I want to know more on.......if I can learn it...I may be able to recall the memories of.....none of your business at this point." she gave him an ashamed look, but a stern one as her lips curled slightly as she bit them a bit. Looking around. The light sound of a hum filled the blue glowing rows of holo sheets around her. "It's a Telepathic ability through Force...it allows you to vividly recall your own memories...and even that of another if you link minds with them." she admitted to Sirius still, not looking at him. Looking around frantically, before she stopped looking around and stared at him.
"We're in the....lightsaber section......ugh." she knew the way well though. She did come here...and leave snacks everywhere. A lot. "This way." she took him by the arm...side by side she watched the rows of holosheets pass her. It looked like they would make it, walking like this they could move at decent speed.
When they neared the section she was looking for, she broke the arm lock and darted forward. Attempting to find the sheets she was looking for in a hurry. Crap. Several holosheets had been returned, there were more in the way than she anticipated.
She pulled out one after the other. It was somewhere on this row. She read each label as she pulled each holosheet out and slid it back in with a jam, locking it in place.
"Keep watch.....I'll just be a minute." she crouched, continuing her method as quickly as possible. The dark Archives and intense blue glow continued to surround them.

“Hey, I fell with grace.”
Sirius smiled at her. Cassy raised one finger to Sirius face and pushed his glasses straight back on his face. He watched her finger as it pushed the pair of glasses, going a little cross eyed as he did so. Sirius blinked a few times to remove the feeling.
Cass described the Force power she was looking for. It would allow her to relive memories, and after that she got a little snappy, telling Sirius is was none of his business.
“Right. I just busted open a Temple alarm. Then I helped you climb through air duct, with several awkward situations mind you. And now I'm standing here, after no one is allowed in the Archives. And it's none of my business why I'm here.”
Sirius didn't mind her being snappy. He just wanted a straight answer. Not only had he gotten into the Archives after hours, but he busted up an alarm doing it. That could be considered vandalism and breaking and entering. He was going to be in so much trouble. But Sirius had decided he was past the point of leaving. He was just frustrated now.
Cassy finally confessed, telling him it was an ability that allowed someone to relive memories, and those of someone they've bonded with. Sirius didn't care what she was using it for, he just wanted to know what it was they went through all this trouble for.
"We're in the....lightsaber section......ugh."
Sirius nodded in agreement. This was the only part of the Archives he hung around, he knew exactly were they were. In fact, he could probably tell Cass what books on what forms were on what shelves. But she wasn't interested in a saber form like Juyo.
She took his arm and pulled him along, side by side they raced though the Archives, getting to the bottom level. Sirius was out of breath from all the steps once they reached the bottom, but Cassy seemed even more spurred on. She broke her hold and went for the shelves, quickly telling Sirius to watch for anyone.
After getting up from resting his hands on his knees and catching his breath, Sirius made for the door. They were huge, glass structures, much like the ones they tried to get in before. Sirius leaned against one side and looked out. A droid passed here or there, but didn't noticed the padawan.
Somewhere in the large library a clock struck twelve, midnight. Cass was taking longer that Sirius expected. He glanced over to see her progress. Blue holosheets littered the floor around her, and all Sirius could make out was her cloak and the back of her head. The lighting wasn't the greatest.
Sirius turned back around to find two figures making their way down the hallway towards them. One was a twi'lek, in blue and gold robes which seemed out of place around the Temple. Jedi were allowed to have their own clothing once they were Knighted, but that was something else. The other was a figure Sirius was all too familiar with. He was a human, taller than most. He had rather plain robes next to his counterpart. The Jedi had shaggy, brown hair and a beard which was slowly turning grey with age.
Master Oberon Kellar was making his way down the hallway, and he was looking right at Sirius.
“We'll, we're screwed.”
Master Kellar keyed open the door to the Archives, and he and his twi'lek companion stepped inside. Sirius could feel through the Force that Oberon was extremely mad, but for some reason the older man cracked a smile. As he did so, the scar along his jaw moved with his mouth.
“Son... I don't know how to tell you this, but you ain't gonna to see sunlight for a loooooooooooooong time.”
Oberon put both hands on his belt as he talked with Sirius. He had a deep, southern-like accent. Kellar was from Corellia, after all. The padawan starred straight into Oberon's eyes, one blue one green. Sirius knew he had two options here. Let Cassy take the blame was at the forefront of his mind. It echoed in his head, but Sirius was better than that. He looked quickly at Cass, who was joined by the Twi'lek. Most likely her master. Sirius spoke up before Cassy had any chance.
“It's my fault. I talked Lallane into coming with me. I was looking for information about Juyo, the saber form. I needed someone to practice with.”
“Right...”
Master Kellar eyed Cassy for a second, trying to decide whether or not to believe Sirius's story. It was true, the padawan only came here for lightsaber forms. And it was true information on Juyo was restricted. Though, Sirius wasn't know for these kinds of shenanigans.
“You better hope with all the Force that you still have that power supply, son.”
Sirius reached into a pouch on his belt and produced the device.

As Cassy continued too rummage through the holosheets, yanking them off the shelves and slamming them back in; she heard the clock chime mindnight somewhere within the Library. Oh no; not good. She was taking far too long, the blue glows cast on she and Sirius only amplified her search as she began too realize just how much trouble she'd be in if caught.
One after the other, she slid them out, read briefly and then jammed them back in. Then, out of nowhere on the fated tug, she pulled the correct see through blue holosheet from the shelves. A satisfied smirk came over her face as she read the labeling lines engraved in the see through blue sheet. Yes.
"I've done it, was there every any doubt?"
"Well, we're screwed."
"-_____-"
Cassy was afraid too step out into the aisle too see what Sirius saw, she cut a look her fellow Padawan and could see in the reflection of his glasses. Her master approaching; along with someone else...who she assumed to be Sirius' master. Her feet got rooted too the ground in an instant, the next moment she attempted to stuff the holosheet down her breasts; before stepping out into the aisle too confront her fate.
As she stepped out into the aisle she did her best "OH HI!" white smile, however with the look her master was giving her, she's lucky she didn't get Force pushed through a few shelves of holosheets.
As her master got close, she slowly turned her head too look at the floor. An ashamed puppy. Like a parent approaching a kid who'd wrecked the car they'd just gotten them. Cassy winced as she first heard her master's voice.
"I should send you back to Tatooine." her voice was cold and disappointed. For awhile she merely stared Cassandra down, augmenting the situation so much more, since one foot in front of her, the blue Twi'lek barreled into Cassy with vibrant green eyes, that looked almost exactly like hers. Cassy's eyebrow dropped and lips contorted a little as she looked away; the look a young girl has when she's about too burst into tears.
She begged her master in her own mind too say something else....just that single sentence had been so hurtful. She knew that Cassandra didn't have a family there; was she truly that disappointed? Ouch.
Cassy started shaking uncontrollably without looking at her master, her eyes still locked on the dark floor of the Archives the blue glow casted on it. Her uncontrollable shaking didn't go unnoticed by her master. On the verge of tears and shaking like she was about too pass out, her master's expression seemed to soften and some semblance of guilt passed her face briefly. Perhaps she saw that child from Tatooine that she'd brought years ago.
"Cassandra....." Master Shara's voice was disappointed, still, chiding, but something else. Somewhat fascinated, that her padawan had the gall too attempt something like this was in a way impressive.
"It's my fault. I talked Lallane into coming with me. I was looking for information about Juyo, the saber form. I needed someone to practice with." as she heard it from up ahead, Cassy's expression steamrolled from plastered on the floor into a look of mild shock, looking up with tears still forming in her eyes, but none falling.
'Sirius NO!' she began shaking uncontrollably again, staring under her master's shoulders. This seemed to give her away, and infuriate her master even more. In that moment Master Shara knew Cassandra was fully responsible for this, even if the other young Padawan wouldn't ever admit it without telepathic torture.
Grabbing Cassandra by the back of her hair roughly, the Twi'lek shoved her forward harshly, causing her to stumble a little forward.
"MOVE! What are you standing around for?!" she exclaimed after Cassy had finished her small stumble. She was shaking again, so ashamed of being embarrassed like this in front of Sirius and his master. She deserved it however. She moved past the both of them. Head down, at quick shuffle, passing them without even so much as a look upwards.
Her master followed closely behind her, passing Sirius' master and stopping short for a moment too tell him "I apologize for my Padawan involving yours in such...shananigans. She'll pay for it, I assure you." with that, she set off quickly and firmly behind Cassy. The two headed down the long aisle away from the two as Master Shara came too Cassandra's side, in a quick flick of her wrist, the holosheet jumped from her breasts inside of her tan robes and into her hand. She began examining it as they walked together.
In this moment, Cassy would look back down the hall at Sirius; seeing him standing there with his master like this...it was all her fault! She looked away and at the floor...eyes darting back and forth rapidly for a moment before deciding that she'd pay him back now. In a whirl of her tan robes, Cassy began running back towards Sirius and his master. She heard her master call out too her, but she ignored.
When she reached them, she grabbed Sirius by top of his back wrapping her arm around him, and pulled him in for a moment of passion. They lips locked, her gloss landed on his mouth, tounge twisted for a split second before she pulled away from him.
Her master howled in fury as she approached, with a loud voice going off in her mind telling her too "Sleep!" Cassandra passed out, straight back into her Master's arms at the powerful Telepathic Suggestion. The voice hadn't sounded happy in Cassandra's mind either. Like a command she could not resist.
Exchanging somewhat of a staredown between Sirius' master and herself with the sleeping Cassy in her arms, the blue Twi'lek in golden and azure robes locked eyes with Sirius for awhile while holding the sleepy Cassandra; as if discerning him. In the next moment she lifted the sleeping Cassy more firmly into her grasp...and set off from the Archives in due step, Cassy's legs and arms visible even from behind as she was walking away; the blue glow of the Archives at night as vibrant as ever.

Sirius and Oberon both looked on in shock when Cassy's master grabbed her by the hair, and threw her forward. And the padawan thought Master Kellar was rough? The Corellian never laid a hand on Sirius, no matter what he did. At least, not like that. In fact, the two of them had never seen a Jedi treat another person like that.
There was nothing Sirius could think of, because he was so stunned. One arm still outstretched with the power supply, the other dangled at his side lifelessly. He quickly made up his mind that no Jedi should treat their student that way. Whether it was the fact that he didn't want to see Cassy hurt because he liked her, or just the simple fact that he thought it was wrong, Sirius didn't know. But anger and annoyance came to life inside of him.
But as the blue twi'lek came by, Sirius refrained from saying anything. There was what looked like a sneer across her face. And the eerie blue light of the archives only made it worse, as if trying to give her a sinister look. She wasn't to be trifled with. But as she gave an apology to Oberon, the older man seemed to have a different idea.
“You need to treat Lallane better, Shara. You know just as well as I do being like that ain't gonna get you anything good. Not to mention, it ain't right. Next time I see it, I'll tell the Council.”
Oberon spoke with an tone that demanded attention. And he was just one of those people that couldn't care less what others thought of him. Didn't matter who it was, he'd put them in their place. That trait worked out rather well Master Kellar right now. Shara shot him a dirty look, as if daring him to keep telling her how to train her padawan. Oberon simply kept smiling at her. But everyone who knew him knew he was true to his word.
Cassy and Shara disappeared into the large archives. They slowly faded from view, as if being consumed by the darkness ahead. It was then that Oberon snatched the device out of Sirius's hand with a frown. The padawan finally snapped back to life with the movement, caught off-guard by it. Sirius looked Oberon up and down. The Corellian was angry alright. It showed in his expressions. His eyes. His mouth. His nose was all scrunched up. Master Kellar wasn't a hard man to read.
“So, you thought it was wrong too?”
“Yes. But we ain't talking about it without Shara or Lallane around. That's gossip. I've taught you better than that.”
Sirius nodded at the older gentleman. Oberon was right, it would be wrong to talk about it behind the other Jedi's backs. But still, it was a hard thing to forget. If Oberon thought Master Shara to be wrong, then to Sirius she HAD to be. The Corellian studied the device for a moment, and without taking his eyes off of it, he started to interrogate Sirius. At least, to the padawan it felt like an interrogation. Master Kellar talked fast, and direct. There was no dodging his questions.
“This wasn't your idea, was it?”
Simply shaking his head no, Sirius didn't say a word. He did his best to keep looking at Oberon, but the man's gaze was hard to meet. It was as if it was a wall, keeping Sirius's head down. They both knew that Sirius was usually much more well behaved than this, which made it even all the more shameful for the padawan. So instead, he just kept simply staring at Oberon's chest. Studying his Master's robes.
“Sirius, I can't even begin to think how she talked you into this. I mean usually -”
The next thing he knew, Sirius was spun around to see Lallane pulling him. His hands went up, and eyes wide. What was the crazy girl up to now? She got close, very close, very quickly. Cassy was right in his face, and then Sirius didn't know what happened. Their lips met, and for a split second Sirius even swore that she added a bit of tongue. But the padawan was like a stone. Unmoving, hardly evening breathing. That was he second time in all of about five minutes that he'd been rendered speechless. All thoughts cleared from his head when Cassy kissed him.
But Cassy pulled away just as quickly as she kissed him. Some of her lip gloss lingered on Sirius lips, a fruity flavor. His glasses had been sent askew from the moment of passion. At least, passion on Lallane's part. She'd been practically kissing a statue. Finally snapping back to life, Sirius fixed his glasses in all the haste he could muster, fumbling slightly. His mind worked at a hundred miles an hour, trying to process what just happened.
The soonest Sirius came back to the land of the living, Cassy collasped backwards into Shara's arms. Why'd she do that? What happened? Sirius wasn't able to figure out much, speech included, as his mind was still working over their kiss. Shara gave Sirius a hard look, studying the padawan. His hands were still up, and eyes were still wide. Sirius looked as if trying to say 'I have no idea what happened' without actually saying anything at all.
Oberon looked just as shocked as Sirius was. The padawan's eyes darted from Cassy laying in her master's arms to Oberon and back again very quickly. Shara carried her unconscious down the hall quickly, leaving the two men standing in the dark Archives. Sirius slowly lowered his hands, and then Master Kellar put a hand on his shoulder.
“Lets go fix that alarm. Then we have a lot to talk about.”

Setting ------------------------
Planet - Coruscant Location - Jedi Temple When? - 4 1/2 Years Ago....
------------------------
Six months had passed since that fateful, embarrassing day that she'd been through alongside Sirius Kelrune. She wondered how he was doing; she'd been forbidden to speak with him by Master Shara; and subjected too her Master's wrath. She didn't beat her of course, but she would dominate her in lightsaber spars, with both of their sabers on it's lowest 'shock' setting; she would literally shock Cassandra into submission, and then merely say: "Again." when Cassandra looked as if she'd had enough. Instructing her too use Body too keep herself going; and too not give up so easily.
Her Master was harsh, she realized this as soon as she was old enough too be subjected too such methods. But it made Cassandra strong; or so she'd tell herself so as not too believe anything else. Their usual trips to Kashyyyk were replaced with Cassandra having to go on jogs outside the Jedi Temple with her Master every morning; at this point, it was habit for the two of them too have their morning jog, and Cassandra was essentially used too it.
That's why when on this morning, as her room doors slid open and her Master came in, quite the surprise awaited her. The orange sunlight gleamed through the raised windows at the top of Cassandra's room, they were small windows outlining the top of the wall all around the room; casting an orange light on her bed with it's blue comforter, black on the inside, with black pillows too match. Silk like. The room hummed with warmth only the morning could bring.
As Master Shara entered she looked different. She wasn't dressed for their usual morning jog around the Temple. She had a look on her face of some mild distaste, but a smile was plastered on her lips; although she'd struggled against it for a few moments. Cassandra wondered what was going on, and as she tied her hair into a bun she tapped her boots on the floor by the toe a few times; before Master Shara spoke.
"I've been to see Master Kellar." the blue Twi'lek wore her usual deep blue and golden threaded robes, her greenish eyes and fangs jumping out as she smiled a little. She reacted too Cassandra, who'd immediately had a "!!!" very shocked expression, wanting too ask if she'd seen Sirius as well, but quickly covering up the expression.
"And----so what? Aren't we going on our jog?" Cassandra looked away, turning her bunned hair and head to the side and looking at the floor. Master Shara looked shocked at this, and her mouth hung open for a moment.
"Well, Master Kellar and I have decided that you two need to learn too work together as Jedi SHOULD. Who knows what you two will get yourselves into once we're gone and you're Knights...we've decided; amidst a little bit of argument that you two should be allowed too see each other, more often in fact. Separation will only breed desire; desire too see one another. Desire will not be tolerated." her expression became somewhat stone cold. The blue Twi'lek had already told Cassandra that she'd grown up with Master Kellar around the temple; she'd always believed him too be too soft. His skill was not in question, but his attitude was.
"R----really?" Cassandra looked up, her eyebrows going upwards as well. She was going too be allowed too see him? Frequently? Unbelievable. She'd thought she'd earned a 'ban until Knighthood', which would be about 5 or 6 years without being allowed in his direction. Funny, she understood more about desire now and the ways in which it worked. "Master Shara thank you....." she bowed deeply before rising.
"Thank? Pfft. You must learn too control yourself, there is MUCH desire in your heart. I've sensed this from the moment you came too the Jedi temple. Your curiousity too learn, too KNOW things, some that aren't your business, some that are. This partnership with Sirius and Master Kellar will be an exercise in testing how well you work with others, that are not myself. she had an twisted mouth next "It seems Oberon wants too make sure I haven't beaten you too a pulp in the last six months..."
Cassandra almost laughed, but she knew better. However Master Shara did, so Cassandra couldn't help herself. The two laughed together for the first time in what seemed like forever; her Master was so strict and harsh on her on a daily basis. It was usually, morning jog, saber training (Cassandra getting shocked over and over), lunch, more exercise, some quiet meditation, and then dinner. Repeated all over again each day. So this was a moment too be enjoyed; as laughter filled her room.
Master Shara would nod, the Twi'lek instructed Cassandra that Master Kellar and Sirius were already waiting for her at Hanger Bay C; she bid her good luck, and moved in for a hug. Cassandra's eyes got wide with shock, then Master Shara pulled away from her...and apologized for what she'd done in the library in front of Master Kellar and Sirius.
"You really disappointed me that day, desert flower." she moved a loose strand of hair that Cassy missed when she bunned her hair behind her ears, like a mother would a daughter. Patting her down and brushing her off; some semblance of tears forming in her eyes. It took awhile for Cassandra to realize what this was, she looked at the floor with a smirk and then back up too her. 'I'll be fine.' is what she told her. This was the first time Cassandra would leave the temple without her, Master Shara was more than worried; she was maternal right now.
Eventually prying herself from Master Shara's grip, Cassandra stopped short at the doors to her room. Turning in her tan robes, her green eyes lit up with emotion for one brief moment as she mouthed 'thank you' too her Master, grabbing her tan overcloak from it's coat rack. The door to her room slid open four ways, and closed much the same as Cassy left in a swoop of her cloak. Leaving Master Shara in the room alone. The Twi'lek stared at the door for a few more moments, and sighed. Her eyes turned and settled on Cassandra's desk, littered with a mixture of junk food and books. Behind it all on the desk, was a picture of an eight year old Cassandra climbing up Master Shara; a picture taken by one of the other Jedi at the temple of Nayla and her new padawan. With a small smile, she shook her head...
---------------------------------------------
Cassandra moved through the temple quickly, although she was pretty sure they wouldn't leave her; she was anxious too see Sirius, and too prove herself better too Master Kellar; better than how he'd first encountered her. An elevator; she squeezed herself onto the packed thing, much too the dismay of several other knights and Padawans. They would've rather she waited for the next one down? Tough luck. She was the first one out of the elevator as it opened in too Hangar Bay C.
It didn't take long too spot them at all, with a small smile. She inhaled and exhaled, removing the smile from her face, and setting off towards them. Time seemed to slow down as she saw Sirius up close for the first time in what seemed like a very long time; however in reality it was only half of a year. Still six months without seeing someone could have somewhat of an effect. She reached the two of them, and bowed in a swoop of her robes.
"Master Kellar...." she stood from her bow, not about to address Sirius with one. But she did give him a very genuine smile and look that said it all. 'I've missed you silly', is what he'd probably read from her expression. With a nod, she didn't even greet him verbally, but deferred too Master Kellar once more. "Thank you...for allowing me too join you and Sirius on this mission...I'll prove myself too you one way or another, I won't let you down, Master." she'd nod too him, pursing her lips together too show her determination.
